Nice place but busy so make reservations. Nice atmosphere with a great staff. Food is delicious but I highly recommend the lobster bisque, bang bang shrimp for an appetizer and garlic mashed potatoes as one of your sides. Happy Hour is a nice option which is every day including weekends.

Disappointed in the service at Bonefish. Made a reservation knowing it would be busy. Showed up 10 minutes before reservation time with the expectation of waiting 15 – 20 minutes. When we checked in was told 15 – 20 minutes, the place was packed. After 30 minutes we inquired and was told it would be another 10 minutes. Unacceptable. This is a failure of management. 1) Too many walk-ins being sat before people with reservations(In my opinion a walk in should never be sat before a reservation regardless of how long the walk in has been waiting. That’s the whole point of reservations.) 2) Taking too many reservations when you can’t handle them all. Too many good restaurants in town to deal with poor management/customer service.

It was only a few short years ago that Bonefish was one of my favorite restaurants, but unfortunately after my latest visit I probably won’t be back for awhile. I went on a Tuesday evening before Christmas around 6pm, and the place was packed. People were standing at the front of the restaurant waiting to be seated, and unfortunately this just causes such a bottleneck in the restaurant because the people stand right in front of the doors, so others can’t get in or out. However, we did make reservations and were seated within 3 minutes of arriving, so that was great. Our waitress, Hailey, seemed excellent at first but quickly went down hill. After ordering, Hailey brought the table our bread and quickly left without saying a word. We quickly realized we were without bread plates while all other tables had them, so since I could see Haley at the table three over I tried to wave her down to ask for plates. Once I finally caught her attention and she came over for me to ask her for plates, her reply was«yes, I know – I didn’t have a hand for them so I’m bringing them out.» Well, Haley, why didn’t you say this when you brought the bread? It would have been very easy for you to say«I’m sorry I didn’t have a hand to bring plates but will bring them to you in one moment.» The restaurant was busy, so I gave her a pass on this. I’ve always been a fan of the bang-bang shrimp and bang-bang tacos. So of course I ordered my usual bang-bang tacos with a side of fries. When the entrée came out, I was severely disappointed; at first glance, the taco shells were huge but the fillings didn’t quite fill the taco enough. Why give such a big shell if the filling is going to look inadequate? While the shrimp themselves were very good, it was maddening to feel that a $ 14 entrée came under-filled. However, the biggest complaint came about from the fries. One taste and I quickly recognized that someone had dumped a whole thing of salt on them. I like salty fries, but wow – these were beyond edible. I’m not one who usually sends food back, but I knew I could not eat these with the amount of salt on them, so I decided to ask Haley once she came back if it would be possible to get fries without salt. Well, it would have been nice if she came back – at least to check on us and make sure the food came out to our liking. However, she didn’t. After 5 minutes of waiting, I finally asked the waitress at the table over if she would be able to get Haley for me. Once Haley returned, I informed her about the fries, and her reply was«Oh yes, I agree. They are really salty. I will bring you a new batch without salt.» Thanks, Haley – that’s great. But you agree? Did you try my fries before giving them to me? Or is this just such a common complaint at the restaurant? And if that is the case, then why do they continue to send out fries with that much salt!!! As for other food at the table, my dad had the fish and chips, and although he said his fries were way too salty as well he really enjoyed the fish and said it was excellent! The final ordeal of the night came when we paid the bill. Our bill came out to twenty some dollars and 6 cents. No one at the table had any change, so we just gave a $ 50 bill. When the change came, well – there was no change. Our waitress, Haley, had rounded UP our bill to the next dollar and given our«change» all in bills. While losing 94 cents is not going to hurt my family nor I, it was the principle that this was done and it really angered me. At first I just thought I would make that 94 cents part of her tip, but it irked me so much that this had been done that I decided to ask Haley about it. Once again I had to track her down, and when she finally made her way to the table I asked her about the lack of change. Haley’s response: «We don’t do change here.» Um, okay, Haley – so why did you round my bill up from six cents to the next dollar? Why wouldn’t you round down if you don’t do change? After questioning her about this, she then said«oh that was my mistake. Here is your dollar.» Again, the 94 cents that wasn’t given back wasn’t the problem, but at this point her response had just irked me enough to ruin the experience. Again, Bonefish used to be one of my favorites, but based on the high price of the bang-bang shrimp tacos and the lack of filling – as well as the experience with the waitress – I won’t be returning any time soon.

We have been here many times. The atmosphere is very nice. The service is always good. The food is good. Love the bang bang shrimp and the salmon.

Overpriced, in my opinion. Its only value to The Beautiful People is to be seen. Happy Hour value is good, or if you can snag a mailer coupon, which they do occasionally. If this restaurant wasn’t in Regency, you could swing a cow in the middle of the dining room and not hurt a soul. Nothing unique or fascinating here, it’s about location for some Omahans. Personally, not worth it if your only requirement is killer seafood. If you want To Be Seen, hang around in the bar. It’s cheaper, too!

Ambience was very soothing and great. The servers were courteous and inviting. Ordered a shrimp and scallop wood grilled entrée and no complains. It was fresh and delicious. The lemon garlic sauce tasted great. Highly recommended.

What can I say? I’m a BWB apparently because the recent Bonefish Grill TV advertisement featuring pumpkin ravioli stuck in my mind. So after a beautiful afternoon out at the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland I made the executive decision to eat at Bonefish. First off the parking spaces, while not crowded, could be the tiniest parking spaces I have ever seen. This could be the one place in Omaha where you can park your Ford F150 in two spaces and not be considered a Jerk. Our VWR32 barely fit inside the lines. Which matched the bathrooms inside, barely wide enough to accommodate me and I’m not huge. I remember laughing afterwards telling dear SO that as I sat down the toilet paper holder was in my lap. perhaps I just picked the wrong stall. Other than that the ambiance was on point and the staff from entry to exit was extremely accommodating and friendly. One place I can’t fault them is service. I LOVELOVELOVE when the staff in a restaurant can take a meal and appetizer order at the same time and wait till you are almost finished with the app to put in the entrée order. Kudos on that and never making us feel rushed. As for the food… the swordfish and pumpkin ravioli were a hit and a miss. The swordfish being the hit with the feta cheese and green onions. Delicious. The pumpkin ravioli was underwhelming and kitchy. I had to scrape off the feta cheese on that portion of my meal because it was a glaring and not pleasant contrast to the pumpkin ravioli which was just meh to begin with. I’m not disappointed my curiosity was satisfied. We ordered the coconut shrimp as our app and Bonefish has never disappointed in this department. Coconut shrimp or the bang bang shrimp are always good, no matter what state I end up in I know this to be true. My SO ordered the fish and chips because he was in the mood for less healthy. I almost wish I had ordered the same. Their battered and fried fish was wonderful, light flaky, just fried enough to make it feel bad but not too bad for a Sunday Cheat meal. Even reheated at home later that night whatever fish/batter combo they used was still delightful. I took away one star because I heard the waiter at the table next to us use the same line on them as our waitress used on me when discussing the pumpkin ravioli. I know you guys have dishes to push but no way you both think its the best thing on the menu. Its not great, be honest. I have worked in food service, being honest with people goes a lot further than following a script.

This was not my first visit to a Bonefish Grill. Virginia, Colorado, and on more than one occasion. That means they have been reliably good, pleasant, and repeatable. Omaha’s version was an exception, or maybe the new rule. Let me say first that it seemed that turning the table was priority #1. While it was Saturday night, and I understand realities, it shouldn’t have been that obvious. The food was really mediocre. Maybe not so fresh(should the edges of my wolffish taste really fishy?), or just rushed out of the kitchen. A small thing, but telling, was my husband’s drink. An Arnold Palmer. He asked if the lemonade they used was sweetened, because the drink was sweet and he didn’t like it. The server explained that the lemonade they served was a lemonade flavored drink, artificially sweetened. She agreed that she didn’t like it either. What she did not do was offer an alternative. He drank water. Can’t comment on dessert, it wasn’t offered. See comment on turning the table. Anyway, another chain gone downhill or just a bad night in Omaha… it’s off the list.

We always have a great meal and great service when we go to Bonefish. I know. I know. Another chain restaurant you say. But Bonefish always does a really good job and they have seasonal vegetables and change up their specials so the menu is different every time you come. We have never been disappointed here. I suggest you go early though as it gets very busy and as an added bonus take advantage of happy hour which runs from 4:00 — 6:30p every day. They have their house glasses of wine for $ 3.50 a glass! I took advantage of that and enjoyed two glasses of the cab. It is not an award winner of course, but at $ 3.50 a glass I am not going to complain. We always have to get the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer. It is so good. There are other restaurants in town that have tried to replicate this dish and have not come close. This is the best and a must try. You also get warm bread with olive oil and pesto for dipping at no charge. For dinner I got the 6 oz sirloin cooked to medium rare(which was cooked to perfection and they asked me to check before they left the table — love that), crab cake, seasonal vegetable(zucchini with roasted red pepper covered in Parmesan cheese), and a side of my choosing potatoes au gratin. The crab cake was so good. It came with this spicy sauce for dipping. The potatoes were creamy and cheesy. I was so full! This was such a great deal for $ 19.50! My dining partner got one of the specials. The Misoyaki Chilean Sea Bass grilled over oak and then topped with Misoyaki marinade, pickled ginger relish, on a bed of sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and jasmine rice. He said it was flavorful and delicious.

Came here on a business trip. Restaurant is right across my hotel and I was tired so just went in there. Sat at the bar. The bartender was super nice n attentive. My Bloody Mary was amazing. And so was my food. Grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. Hit the spot. Iam definitely coming back for HH at least.

Went back for Bang Bang shrimp and it lived up to its reputation. Excellent again! Service was great. Didn’t even notice there was a problem until the manager himself came to apologize that they were remaking one of our dishes. We had the fish & chips and the grilled lamb chops. The lamb chops were amazing and well worth the wait. The fish just needed some salt. Had the crème brulé for dessert and it was de-lish!

It’s usually a no brainer knowing you’ll get a decent seafood meal at Bonefish. I was going to give two stars, but upped it to three because I was there with a friend I hadn’t seen in over a year and the wait staff was very, very accommodating. And after finishing the review I came back to write this last sentence that isn’t the last sentence as you read this review, so I hope I’m not confusing you, but I decided to go back to the two-star review. I mean really, I have experienced better and when I left I don’t think I would have told anyone, «Hey, that was A-OK!» Nope. I was steered by the wait staff to a meal I wish I hadn’t ordered. It was one of the specials — seafood hot pot, or something like that. I was afraid it would be too spicy, but she explained it had more of a smokey spice and well… she talked me into it. It just didn’t hit the spot. Nothing was really on point and it was a little too spicy for my taste. I got a cup of clam chowder, too. It was nondescript. The food for me was sub par, the staff was very attentive. The ambience is just like every other Bonefish.

OK we like Bang Bang shrimp but our last visit was not so good. It was happy hour and it wasn’t too busy yet we walked in and seated ourselves in the bar. A minute or so later the hostess noticed and brought us menus. Then we waited 10 min for a server to acknowledge our existence. Finally, a waitress asked the hostess who had us, she then got us waters and went to find our waiter who I had seen talking to a couple of the other servers. He was VERY apologetic about the delay, took our drink order and our BB shrimp appetizer order. We got the drinks quickly, then sat another 10 – 12 min awaiting the shrimp he finally walks up and asks if we’d gotten our shrimp yet. Dude, if you don’t know, your not watching carefully enough. We ordered entrees to go and asked for bread no bread. Good help us hard to find. Pay it well!

Went to Bonefish for a business dinner. It didn’t disappoint. My colleague got the sea bass which she said was excellent. I opted for the pork chop. Mine was very good and the piece of pork was well trimmed — virtually no fat. My only very minor complaint was that the amount of fontina cheese was lacking. All in all we’d go back soon when we’re in town.

4 Stars for the bar, restaurant and wait staff! Good happy hour! As for the food, it is not as I expected for the kind of place that it is. Looks and seems upscale. Prices are not expensive but you would think this kind of place would have a little better quality of lobster and steaks. Anyway the prices are reasonable, where else can you go and get 2 small lobster tails for $ 27.00.

If you asked me four years ago what I thought of the place, I would have said great and one of my favorite places! However, I hate to say. my last trip here was enough not to come back. I would like to state that I know how to cook pretty well, I host dinner parties and have taught myself a lot through the years being that my father is an award winning chef as well, so it is fair to say I know a little about cooking. I also love dining out and have been to a lot of upscale restaurants in Omaha so this review is not coming from a place of no knowledge on food. First off, lets break down the interior of the restaurant. The hostesses both had messy sideways buns and just looked unprofessional in general. The girls reminded me of some kids from highschool who knew nothing about how to dress to impress. For how fancy the restaurant looks at first for a second, you would be amused at the choice in table cloths. There is literally pieces of PAPER over the plastic table covers. That just screams laziness to me. I have never seen a fine dining place, put paper over the tabletops. Is it that hard to wash off tables? Now to the food. I feel like this restaurant has better appetizers than the main course itself. You see people raving about the bang bang shrimp but not as much for the larger courses. Kind of backwards isn’t it? The appetizer lobster stuffed shrimp was perfect and amazing. Kudos on that part of the meal. However, the chef needs to get some extra training. The main course lobster tail was uncooked in the middle… flubbery, clear and half raw. I have cooked lobster countless times in my life and it is really not that hard(ATALL) to make. You boil it for approximately 15 minutes. So to me there is no excuse to undercook a simple lobster dish. I had my boyfriend try it to justify my reasoning because I really and truly hate complaining in restaurants. He could barely swallow it. On the bright side, management was very cordial and didn’t act annoyed when politely explained I couldn’t eat it. They promptly brought out a new plate. The server and the manager himself coming out to apologize and agreed it was uncooked. Them both being as professional as they were about it gives them an extra star in my rating. The jasmine rice was very dry and the bread crust was hard to chew. The best part of my meal was sadly the salad and my strong and extremely tasty raspberry cocktail. I am sorry Bonefish, but I think that the high prices were not worth this experience. I probably wont return again.

This place is a family favorite. We enjoy the Bang Bang Shirmp and bread for appetizers. The kids enjoy the grilled chicken on the kid’s menu. It’s kid friendly also as they provide crayons and you can write all over the table. I enjoy the fish selections and my husband likes the steak. Also, if you sign up for emails, they occasionally have specials, like free appetizers.

I’ll make this as simple as I can for everyone! lol The Bang Bang Shrimp, Grilled Salmon, Kobe Burger… all outta this world! And the service, well it is impeccable! And you have to have the Chocolate Crème Brulee for desert! The best part was hearing that on Wednesday’s they have the Bang Bang shrimp for half price! But most of all, everyone was absolutely great! We had a great time! And will go back again and again and again!

You have to order their Blackberry Sangria! Its one of the best sangria! As for the food, the grilled fish tacos was amazing! The mango salsa compliments the grilled fish very well. The garlic mashed potato was delicious! My friend ordered the seabass and it was really good too! The seabass was very flavorful and it has a creamy taste to it. They have a really awesome deal every Tuesday that offers lobster tail for around $ 10 – 15! I would definitely come back here again when I’m in town!

A friend told me they had an awesome happy hour so I thought we would stop by after work. Not sure what he was talking about. lol First impressions… slick nicely done up restaurant with very friendly staff. Bar was very busy at 5pm so we sat on the restaurant side. We inquired about happy hour and it was nothing more than like a dollar or so off drinks. No happy hour food specials or anything. I asked if the bar had a different«happy hour» menu and was told no. Oh well, we are here so lets go! We ordered a bunch of appetizers(bang bang shrimp, seared tuna and wagyu beef potstickers). Plus the waitress brought us warm fresh bread(no charge). Also tried three of the specialty drinks(sidecar, palomba(close… maybe), and pear martini) Not sure what all the rave is about the bang bang shrimp is… good but not great. I think the«creamy» sauce texture kinda threw me. The seared tune was BAD. Way over cooked… like in NO red… and COLD. Hmmmm… The potstickers were the best. The sauce and bits on the plate were great. Make sure you scope some on your potsticker before eating. Drinks were decent with the sidecar being the tastiest. Conclusion. Four of us had 5 total appetizers and 2 – 3 drinks apiece and the bill came to $ 100 during happy hour. Food ranged from bad(tuna) to good(potstickers). Service was awesome. It had been awhile since I had been here and it might be awhile before I return.
