Bucky’s Express

It’s on a busy intersection with traffic coming in and out from many directions. So first things first. I’d be careful coming here from Dodge St.
But other than that I just finished an entire 32oz soft drink for only 85 cents courtesy of Bucky’s! They have this cool soda fountain that has a «vanilla» option to add a splash of vanilla flavor to your drink. So of course I got Vanilla Coke. #duh
But now I’m mad at myself for drinking so much soda. Guess who’s going to the gym tomorrow? Me.

Clean store, staff members are friendly. The coffee is always fresh, they always have stocked condiments.
This is more like a neighborhood store than a corporate chain. The clerk asked me my name the first time I came in and greats me by my first name everytime I visit.

I like Bucky’s. I’ll be honest, I only go there in the morning. To pick up some caffeine to make it through the day. I will occasionally get gas there to. It’s a gas/​convenience store, what can you say?
I will say, the men (and one woman) that work there in the mornings are lovely. They are good people, always super friendly and just make me feel special. THAT is why I keep going back.
I did boycott this place for several years because they carded me. Now yes, I understand that we can’t sell alcohol to minors. But I am over 40 years old. I don’t look 20. Give me a break. The woman that did it was a nasty person so I didn’t go back for several years. Still don’t go back anytime but the mornings. The morning crew definitely turned my opinion around!
