I’m a raving fan! The service person came on time and was very knowledgeable and highly professional. Installed deadbolt locks on our three doors in back; showed me where to order an extra part I needed online at more reasonable cost. Their follow up service is the best. They came out to rekey our locks, not that they did anything wrong but for something i did that made the extra trip necessary. No additional charge. A wonderful home grown Omaha company. I highly recommend them.

Outstanding service on a Sunday evening when other businesses were not answering our calls. John #5 arrived within 15 minutes and fixed our problem right away. He was courteous and competent. Thank you for much-​needed help!

What a wonderful experience! My husband and I just moved into our first house. We decided that it would be important to get the locks changed.
I called five different places in Omaha. The one that was the most helpful, friendly, informative, and straight to the point was Carl Jarl. They had great customer service over the phone!
Then they came the next day to replace the locks. The employee was an experienced man who knew exactly what he was doing. He was very friendly and did an amazing job! If we ever need to replace our locks again, I will not hesitate to call Carl Jarl. I would also recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful locksmith.

We called Carl Jarl in Omaha to have the locks changed on my mother’s home. Nice enough man answered the phone and took the order. When Rick called to schedule the work he was rude and condescending to the point of being obnoxious. We called another locksmith, scheduled with them and called Carl Jarl to cancel. They might be a long time Omaha company, but their business will suffer with if their customer service is as poor as Rick’s.

Small industrial strip mall store. Pretty old looking inside with guns and big safes and deer heads on the wall and such. Might creep some people out. It’s easy to get in and out of and get keys-​though I ran them out of stock on a recent visit. You aren’t going to get a lot of smiles and happy talk from the staff here-​but they get you in and out fine and I have never had a key not work that was made here.

I thought this place was the «go to» locksmith in Omaha, NE but apparently I was mistaken.
I brought in three key blanks to be cut (I had the «key code» which tells the locksmith exactly how to cut the key) but they weren’t able to help. The guy behind the counter said in order to cut the key with the code it would be $ 25.00 per key and he could not guarantee that they would work. He also refused to cut one of my titanium key blanks saying that it «would ruin his machine» so that was that.
Interestingly enough I just hopped on the old smartphone and found another locksmith nearby who not only cut the keys (even the titanium one) with NO problems but only charged me 10.00 for all three! You fail Carl Jarl, you fail.
