I can’t even recommend this place for vegetarians. If you’re vegan and end up here, hit up the Mongolian grill. The guy stationed there tonight was extremely accommodating, but who knows if he’ll be on duty any given visit. I can’t sing his praises enough. He really did right by me! If I was basing this entirely on him, probably 5 stars. He saved this joint from getting my first one star review. Well, the whole staff was very friendly actually. There’s also a salad bar here. I didn’t have resort to that thanks to the grill guy. I’m sure it has vegetables. People everywhere. Customer yelling at the staff. Children screaming, everyone coughing. Comes with the territory.

My bride and I decided that we should have a Chinese food Christmas after watching several Christmas movies where the dinner was just ruined or there was no time to cook… Oh, no lol. We got take out on Dec 23 and kept it in the fridge. Using the toaster oven and a frying pan we were able to reheat everything so it did not taste like left over Chinese… which is not a bad thing anyways but not really Christmas worthy. It was a fun new take on a already tradition filled time of year. I think everyone should partake in the«Sad Christmas Tradition» :o)

First time here. Celebrated sons 18th bday– who LOVES Chinese! See why it was voted best of Omaha. 10 minute wait well worth it. Great grill & buffet. Good food was fresh, hot & always refilled. We’ll be back!!! Very friendly staff!

I’ve been going to this place for a while now, even when they only had one location. The food has been consistent, always great service. Unlike other Chinese buffet, the food quality is above average. Good price too. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Go here occasionally. Pretty good service & food. On Sundays its always pack! I will go back there. That’s pretty much the only place i will eat Chinese food at.

This is a great chinese buffet that also has a Mongolian grill, so you can create your own dishes. It’s one of our favorite buffets in the area. I would have given it 5 stars but an employee made me stop taking photos of the food. I told him it was for Unilocal, but he said I couldn’t take pictures. That’s more of a north Korean policy in my book but whatever.

My kids love this place. Me… Not so much. The sushi is gross. Dry and flavorless. I’m sure it’s frozen sushi. They need to get a sushi guy like at whole foods. The fried food parts are great, Mongolian grill is amazing, the rest is sub par. I never eat the dessert. It’s gross. And WTF fresh shrimp next to salad and oranges? All you need is a bit of juice to fly in their and BAM contamination. Prices have really gone up too. Too high to eat here for a family of 4, especially when kids don’t eat that much.

Have not tried the buffet. Only had food delivered or picked up to go. The buffet seems quite popular and reasonable. The 20 minutes I was waiting tonight, at least 25 folks came in for the buffet. Crab legs on weekends looks like the big draw. Have ordered a few times and recommend the following items: Crab Rangoon, combination Lo Mein, Kung Pao shrimp, Sesame chicken and steam dumplings. Good food all around. Fresh and not heavily salted or seasoned. A keeper for future visits.

This location has really gone down hill. Everything tasted like it had been sitting for hours, and had the consistency of shoe leather. The service is incredibly slow and takes forever to get your ticket. I also enountered a peice of teryaki chicken so foul i almost threw up in my mouth. After the visit i broke out in a cold sweat and experienced what could only be described as a gastric excorcism. I’m never returning here again.

We just moved from CO and had an AMAZING Chinese buffet there. Shocked to have found something so soon here that is pretty darn good. Very few food items that we tried were losers. They keep the fresh stuff coming out pretty well so you dont have to worry about it sitting there all day before you come. Yay. They have a decent variety for a place this size and the buffet area is usually quite clean. Seating area is comfortable and spacious, always a bummer when you have to sit 2 inches from another table right lol. Staff has all been very pleasant except for one young lady who seemed irritated with the world(maybe just a bad day, they hit us all from time to time). Kitchen staff seems to be mostly Hispanic and startled when the pasty girl speaks Spanish to them. Do people in Omaha not speak enough spanish to have a short bit of pleasantries with them? It’s an easy language give it a whirl. Ice cream is that nasty icey crap, the kid wouldn’t even eat it.

Great food! Usually mediocre/average service. But tonight… waitress, «Qiu 9752» was unbelievably rude. Never responded when we said«hello», «please», and«thank you»! Only words we ever heard her say to us were«more drink?» Seriously… it’s like she doesn’t even want a tip.

Always been good when I’ve gone, the only reason they didn’t get a five is cause they let food sit too long when the business is slow, but when it gets a little busier, the food is AMAZING&FRESH!(Ex: Sushi Bar)

$ 10.00 a piece. Seating and attentiveness to the customer not a plus. Don’t go for the sushi unless you prefer a bit of imitation crab with lots of cream cheese. The Mongolian stir fry meat selection is open to the elements making it unsanitary and dried out. The dessert bar was a joke: one basic cookie, no chocolate of any kind and a ice cream machine.

I’d have to say that I really enjoyed this place. Wednesday doesn’t seem like a very busy night but the food on the buffet was refreshed often! Everything that I tasted had great flavor and great presentation. I really enjoyed seeing that they also had sushi at the beginning next to the salad station. I’ve only visited this location once before but don’t remember seeing sushi! That’s exciting. Different assorted sushi rolls. Wasabi, ginger to accommodate. All in all the kids enjoyed it too, and I’ll have to try the Mongolian grill next time and skip the buffet! Thanks again

Not bad for a Chinese buffet. The sushi was good and they had a good variety. We went on a Sunday night and it was packed. Would probably go again.

We stopped at Omaha on a long trip to the west coast. Hungry for some Chinese food we saw reviews on Unilocal and went to this place. Certainly back the reviews. Place looks upscale, servers are nice, food lotsa variety and fresh and tasty. And inexpensive! Try it you won’t be disappointed

For chinese buffet’s this has to be the best i have had in Omaha. Everything is hot fresh and with quality ingredients. The selection is wonderful, fruits and veggies are nice ripe and fresh also. the crab rangoon are small a bit different than the average places you go and one of my favorites here! This is the best chinese buffet in omaha

Does anyone ever actually crave a buffet? I tend to once every couple of weeks and it is China Buffet. When I worked close to here I used to do the take-out option which I always felt was a good bargain and also limited my «trips» to help my waistline out. These days I have to go sit down and eat at least once a month. The Mongolian Grill option is chock full of options and it always looks clean and fresh when going down the line. Always tastes good also. The other buffet options are also good and always seem fresh. You really see the people out there turning the food over and keeping it looking and tasting good. They take pride in the business they have earned and they look like they want to keep it. Service is always fine for a buffet and even though it is very popular and busy have rarely had to wait for a seat.

As Chinese buffets go, this one is better than most. I think it’s slowly gone downhill since I first ate here in 2007, but it’s still good(just not as good as it once was). Decent selection. They’re good about keeping everything full. They also have Mongolian BBQ as an option. Dinner has a totally different atmosphere than lunch. The weekday lunch crowd is quieter and the dinner crowd is a lot noisier and it feels a lot more crowded at dinner time. So, if you have a choice, then come here for a weekday lunch. Staff are mostly friendly and attentive. No crazy waits for a refill. Restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
