Good service, decent wings. Don’t waste your time on the fish and chips. No flavor and overdone but they took care of it and switched them out for something else.

Service is slow. Sit us with people we don’t know. Sit us where we ask to not be seated. Suck factor 8 Mr sulu.

I was hosting guests from out of town and went to DJs as my guests were staying at a hotel in the Aksarben district. The area is very nice and the restaurant décor was inviting. But that’s where the goodness ended. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was one of the worst tasting sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! I can’t believe something like that is on the menu. It almost invoked the call for ‘Ralph’ and ‘Earl’! Yuk! I’ve had good and bad experiences with DJ’s and me-​thinks I’ll choose differently next time… especially when trying to show out-​of-​town guests what Omaha has to offer.

Went here for lunch with a friend prior to a movie. Because I am dieting and eating very healthy, I always look at the menu on-​line ahead of time to see what they have. Not a lot of healthy options here. I finally chose a taco salad, asked them to hold the cheese and I did not eat the taco shell. I will say it was a large portion of lettuce, tomato, and salsa. Very strange service. Waitresses were sitting in some of the booths. No one seemed to have any sense of urgency. There’s beginning to be a lot more dining places to choose from in this area. This place needs to step it up.

I have been to the bellevue and omaha locations several times now, and dont plan on going again. Each time I’ve gone my beer has been warm and my food below average. The last time i went (2days ago) i ordered 2 of their overstuffed tacos, which were the special, and tried to order fries but found that they removed all their sides… I ended up having to pay $ 5 for a whole basket of fries. When our food eventually came out, they brought me some cheese fries instead, set them on the table, then walked away. About 4 minutes later, our waitress came out with a basket of fries and told us we should have let her know we got the wrong thing, then took the cheese fries from our table, and gave them to another table… We had already stared eating the cheese fries she gave to the other table!!!

They removed a «half order» of nachos from the new menu. Why? So rather than ordering the full order I ordered something less expensive than the half order. Our service last night was less than par, no one offered to wipe off our table, I had to ask her to order an additional beer. I’m disappointed.
Might be time to give Dudleys a visit.

Do not. I repeat. Do NOT go here for a fantasy draft. There is not enough bandwidth or available wifi connections to support more than one table of drafters.
Also, a fly landed and died in my beer.
I must add, however, the addition of a veggie burger pleased me. And it was quite good.

Service — top notch. I got the chicken salad here — salty level 3– and was surprised how good it was for a sports bar. Bartender made me homemade ginger ale as I wasn’t feeling the best and everything was quick and great

It’s a nice clean environment with lots of tv’s and several large screen projectors. The waitress was attentive and very nice. Wednesdays wings are 50 cents. The buffalo style wings needed more sauce but the jamaican jerk were really good. It makes a good lunch spot and would be a great place to watch a sporting event.

I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews of this place. I have been here several times and have always had a good experience. The best thing on the menu is the Superbowl nachos. Event the half serving is a huge portion meant to be shared. Chicken with the flour chips is our go-​to order. My only suggestion on what to avoid would be the mini buffalo chicken tacos. They definitely looked and tasted like something that was taken out of a huge bag in the freezer. And I’m pretty sure there was no actual chicken on them.
Other than that, it’s a great place to watch a game, we’ve watched several Iowa football games here on Saturdays when the Hawks aren’t playing at the same time as the Huskers.
If you’re looking for a sports bar with reasonably priced drinks and decent bar food, I definitely recommend stopping by.

I have no idea what anyone’s beef would be with this place. My waitress — Aleisha — was AWESOME. Great recommendations, so accommodating — she was great. I sat quickly, was taken care of promptly. Came on a Sunday evening to watch football — but they have an insane number of screens playing all manner of sports. $ 6 draft beer on Sunday’s? YES PLEASE. And you MUST have the nachos. The half order could feed three people. At Aleisha’s suggestion, I got combo chicken/​beef and combo chips. Not disappointed — great value — and a box to take home. I will definitely be back my next trip to Omaha.

Been here each Sunday for 2 yrs for NFL games. We had a problem with tables talked to manager and her exact words were I have never seen you guys here… Maybe the manager should get off her ass in back and work.

This is a sports bar right? We came in last night to watch the Boston & Yankee game on on of their 47 Tv’s. I understood the playoffs were on for basketball and hockey. We went into the larger room and asked if one one the three large projections could be turned to baseball. Two projections were the same basketball game and one for hockey. I was told by the 2 male bartenders that they wouldn’t change it and we could watch it on one of tiny ass tvs. They were rude and unhelpful. I wonder why this «sports bar» has 2.5 stars.

Nice sports bar. Basic bar nibbles that are ok but not the place to eat a full meal. We stopped by for a couple beers before heading into the movie theater next door. Place was only half full with after work happy hour regulars but it was fairly loud. With all the TVs this seems like a good football watching joint but I would think you would all want to watch the same game or it could be a distraction with all the noise.

Went here for a quick lunch before a movie with a friend on a Saturday.
Pretty standard American food; not probably a place I’ll go on a regular basis.
Really loud in there with the zillion televisions there.
Table had leftover mash potatoes or something smeared on it, when we sat down. Gross.
Once I got over that potato issue, we ordered the fish and chips platter and one of the cheeseburgers.
Wait staff was friendly and was patient with us – it took two visits to our table for us to decide what we wanted. Our food came out pretty quickly.
It tasted okay; there was nothing especially good or bad there.
I’d go there again under the same circumstances (in a rush, about to go into the movies next door), but wouldn’t necessarily seek it out.

Family went out to curb our cravings for good burger. This place was a disappointment. Burger was dry and bland.

What is the ‘Maverick’ you ask?
Well it’s earned for checking into low-​ranked places multiple times. In my case, here and Mixed… but at least Mixed has the salad thing going for them.
Food is pretty low grade at all DJ’s I’ve been to. The only menu item I can really bring myself to enjoy is the chicken quesadilla appetizer. One item we had last night that I’d definitely never order again was the appetizer sampler. (Fried green beans & pickles, onion rings, fries, carrots, celery, 2 chicken tenders and some sad looking boneless wings served on a pizza pan on top of lettuce). Weirdest and most disappointing $ 20 appetizer I’ve had recently.
Service was slow (probably because our server in particular seemed really overwhelmed) and it’s loud as hell.
But they have a lot of TV’s and serve beer, so those two critera and the midtown sports bar dry zone will likely draw us back again… not something I’m necessairily looking forward to.

Nice job sharing your smoking pit with everyone else!!! Complete disgusting mess!!! Can’t help but wonder how clean and sanitary the employes & business is on the inside??? This is definitely a good reason not to even go inside! Cigarette butts everywhere! Greasy floor! Nice white buckets to sit and create a nice wall of smoke as guests walk by!!! GROSS!
