Dundee Gallery

I’m so sorry that they will be closing later this month. I’ve always been a HUGE supporter of the Dundee Gallery. They have a variety of artist works including painting, notecards, pottery and lots and lots of jewelry. Located conveniently under Mark’s Restaurant you can stop for dinner and buy yourself a pair of earrings (okay – maybe that is just what I do). Check them out before they close!

Love the Dundee Gallery, and love the owner even more! What a great addition this has been to Omaha’s art community, and Dundee’s main street. Great selection of original art, cards, jewelry, pottery and sculpture — at attainable prices.

This locally owned gallery may be small, but has a nice selection of artwork. Since it’s conveniently located in close proximity to the Dundee eateries, I find myself popping in occasionally to browse. The gallery has a nice selection of jewelry — perfect for a gift giving occasion. They also carry John Dennison pottery (I have an addiction to local pottery). The prices aren’t cheap (you’ll need to hit Walmart for that), but I’ve secured items for $ 25 on more than one occasion (and items over $ 25 on more than one occasion as well).
Sometimes you just need a little something that isn’t mass produced in China — for a birthday gift, a Christmas present, an impulse buy. Next time you’re in Dundee, pop in. You might just need to buy yourself a little something.
