Faimon Chiropractic

I have been with Dr. Faimon since 2008. I was directed to him by an orthopedic surgeon as a last resort to my 6^th low back surgery. Generally, medical and surgical doctors do not readily refer, if at all, to chiropractors. However, my desire to avoid surgery was not in question, or to be challenged. I had an L3-​L4 herniated disc and extrusion. Dr. Faimon’s technique is subtle and soothing. He does no use a drop table, instead, his technique involves slow manipulation of the vertebrae and extension of the spine to relieve pressure and pain. In a few short weeks I experienced relief from the instability and pain that I felt. Within a few months, the extrusion disappeared, the disc was reduced, and my need for surgery vanished.
I should say, that I have L4 through S1 fused, and it is normal for the disc space above to herniate within about 7 years after the first fusion placement. I could not recommend Dr. Faimon more as he has kept me out of surgery for the past 6 years. There is no magic, no huff and puff, no wild promises, just good technique and results. I am a Nurse, and it was not long ago that I didn’t really believe in chiropractic medicine. Last summer 2014, I was able to return to the golf course for the first time in 13 years. I am a believer and endorse it 100%.
There are few doctors in this corporate world who really truly care about their patients on a one to one level, and put money a distant second or third. Dr. Thomas Whittle, vascular surgeon is one I can readily recommend, the other is Dr. Jeffrey Faimon.
