Dr. Drummond visited the Omaha Running Club’s Distance Training Clinic. It was great to learn how the spine is directly connected to common running injuries. As long distance runners we need to take care of our bodies so that we can train properly for our half and full marathons. It was good to know that he had run a marathon before so that he could relate to our club’s needs.
We really enjoyed his talk because he made it entertaining and educational. Using our runners as live examples of how the body can sometimes be misaligned was a great idea to give us visualization of what he can help to improve upon.
