Just picked up order in drive-thru…horrendous. Watched the tattooed queen pick up pasta with her bare hands and throw onto my plate… no gloves, no hair net !! Another ungloved & un-netted employee lifted her shirt to scratch her back right in front of drive thru window and proceeded to pick up breadsticks and bag them ungloved… totally disgusting ! I threw the food away when I got home. When I mentioned it to the 4-nose ringed employee who took my payment at the window… he yelled at the employee picking up the pasta with bare hands to get some gloves on and she looked at him and asked«why?». They were all screaming at each other about being overworked, too busy, and about wanting to leave early to go to a party. Where is the health department? This place is a joke and totally gross !

It’s fast food Italian. Unlike hamburgers or tacos, Italian food is something that takes time to make right. Their pizza is okay. The meat sauce on their spaghetti seems like an experiment in just how much sodium you can cram into a sauce. I wasn’t sure if I was just being salt-sensitive, so I checked their nutrition information and, sure enough, a serving of their meat sauce has 1,530mg of sodium in it. That’s 45% to 67% of your entire day’s sodium allowance(depending on which recommendation you use) in the sauce of one entrée for one meal. Wow. I only come here when my wife is craving it and we almost never dine inside the restaurant and usually get our food to go. This place is pretty busy, but I think that has more to do with the fact that it’s the only Fazoli’s west of 84th street than because it’s just that good. Mostly people rave about their breadsticks. Honestly, how hard is it to get a breadstick right? Who choses a restaurants based solely on a free appetizer? I really do not get the breadstick obsession.

I used to pick up lunch or dinner from this Fazoli’s location at least once per week. I have given this place several chances over the last six months and I have to agree with the other previous reviewers in their statements about everything just steadily getting worse each time. The Fazoli’s brass would do well to read their own Unilocal reviews, and to implement change based upon the feedback of their own customers, but they don’t. Big mistake. My final reason for my personal boycott of this and all Fazoli’s: A coarse, uncouth Fazoli’s employee in her mid 50’s with a red dye job crew cut was working the register and taking customer orders. The couple in front of me were larger than average, and very polite as they ordered. They ordered a good amount of food, and the cashier asked«for here or to go?» The gentleman ordering said«for here, please.» The cashier then, paused, looked the couple up and down, and actually said«Well, that’s a lot of food for two people, are you sure it’s not to go?» It was one of those scenes that you find yourself in, but you still wonder if it really is happening… if someone actually had the cajones to be that fucked-up toward another human being for no reason. The customer went to the manager, who refunded his money, but refused to reprimand the employee. The manager was actuaIly siding with the employee. Wait…it gets better, or worse I should say… While the manager is getting the man’s money from the drawer, some lowlife friend of the rude employee comes up out of the blue and starts trash talking the customer who was already the victim. Then, the employee gives her friend a cup for a soft drink and says«Here you go, honey, it’s on me.» Seriously! So many issues with this place I just walked out– never to give them another dime. Everyone has their issues and insecurities, and it is sad when we see people’s hatred and bigotry rise to the surface. Making hurtful comments and making fun of someone’s weight should never be acceptable, and certainly not condoned by management as was the case with this incident. I honestly have not gone to any Fazoli’s location since.

I greatly enjoy Fazoli’s, but this particular location has declined over the past year or so. I enjoy the Penne with Creamy Basil Chicken, so I gave my usual a go and got the combo meal which included a slice of pizza and a drink. Initially, the Penne tasted great, but as I reached the bottom of the dish, an extremely disappointing amount of grease was already pooling. The cheese pizza had a shine to it as well. I finished my food, but in a «I know what I’m getting into and I will regret this later» way that is usually assigned to Taco Bell. I can’t recommend the location considering the price for the food I received. Breadsticks are the saving grace.

This is one of the better options in the area for a quick and tasty lunch, with at least some options for healthful eating – including salads and smaller portions of pasta. In the past, they’ve had some customer service difficulties. But in the last few months, the problems have been fixed. On my last few visits they’ve been friendly, polite, accurate, and responsive. I think they’ve been reading our reviews on Unilocal. For this, I’m upgrading from 2 to 5 stars. My recommendations: for lunch, the«pick 2» for $ 5. For supper, the three-cheese tortellini Alfredo.

Only my second time eating at Fazioli’s but it certainly won’t be my last. I like that it is fast(er) food but also it had a nice atmosphere. The breadsticks are wonderful and I like the combo option of instead of having pizza, you can opt for the salad. Good food at reasonable prices. I wish there was a Fazioli’s in Montana!

I noticed a few changes after entering Fazoli’s. The most obvious was the poster featuring new menu items including a variety of salads, meat lasagna, six cheese ravioli, additional pizza selections, rigatoni romano, submarinos, and paninis. I ordered the penne romano. I noticed another change when they asked if I wanted to upgrade it to a meal which included a drink and my choice of a side salad or a slice of pizza and breadsticks. The food arrived about five minutes later on real dishes and with real silveware which is also another big change. The salad was a bit disappointing as was the red wine vinaigrette dressing. It was iceberg lettuce, mozzarella cheese, and tomatoes. It was decent but mostly flavorless. The penne romano consisted of penne baked with italian sausage, crushed red pepper, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. It tasted good enough but it was not as spicy as I would have liked. I only ate about 2⁄3 of the dish so the servings are large. The bread sticks while over buttered, were as good as I remembered. That brings me to the last change that I noticed. Instead of a breadstick person coming around, the manager has been put in that role as a concierge. Despite all of the changes, I can’t say that my experience was significantly better than the last time I visited Fazoli’s but it wasn’t any worse. For me, it’s sort of the same thing with a few changes throw-in to make the place seem a little more mature and fresh. I will go back but it’s not at the top of my list of Italian dining choices.

This is by far the cheapest and greasiest meal I had this visit in Omaha… i walked in and was immediately drawn to the big poster on the wall. it was advertising their new foods… I got the pizza baked ravioli and my friend got the pizza baked ziti and we both ordered an italian ice drink. Both of us were stuffed and left satisfied… all this for under $ 14 bucks. This restaurant is like a cheap version of the Olive Garden… they give you very awesome breadsticks and you get eat this all you want… I wish they had this in California. Although greasy and heavy, it was still very yummy.
