I’m hooked on grocery shopping online because of Hyvee’s Aisles Online sevice. Spend over $ 100 and the delivery charge is waived. Instead of adding items to my shopping list, I just pop onto the app and add the item to my cart. I find that I spend less on impulse buys and it has lowered my overall budget for groceries. This location provides this service despite it being further away from my home. The delivery consistently arrives on time. The produce and meats that they deliver are great quality. The app is adequate and only occasionally has gliches. I still do some shopping in person at the Hyvee store since alcohol can not be delivered. Also, our family eats the deli foods on occasion when evening activities make cooking at home a challenge.

A couple weekends ago I stopped by late at night after a 14 hour work day. I needed to grab a quick something to make for dinner and a bottle of wine to unwind on the late Friday night. I stopped at the store and as I was parking I noticed a guy running up to everyone’s car trying to sell them something out of a box. I was alone, it was late and I didn’t feel comfortable getting out of my car. Every time I tried to park he ran up to my car. I called the store and spoke with an over night manager and told him my dilemma. He and another employee came outside and found me. After I quickly shopped the manager walked me to my car(and carried my bag) and waited until I pulled away to go back inside. While I shopped he stayed outside to make sure the guy left. I was so happy to feel safe and be able to get my shopping done. I’m sorry I missed the guys name but he was a African American gentleman with a really beautiful, thick accent. I’ve always enjoyed visiting this store and this was above and beyond any shopping experience. Thank you!

Ive been to many different HyVee locations but I like this one the best. Friendly people, clean store with a nice layout. The produce is always the freshest and the meat is always yummy too! A+

This Millard/West Omaha location is awesome. Beside the gas pump and car wash, they also have a Starbucks! I love this neighborhood and the staff that works inside. They are all smiles and«how can I help you?» I think this is the stuffs that grocery stores should be made of. Hyvee is a reputable brand and chain and I enjoy supporting them as they continue to expand in Omaha and beyond.

Hy-Vee is probably my favorite grocery chain in the Omaha metropolitan area. Their stores are always brightly lit, extremely clean, and their employees are always very friendly. They have a great selection of most everything you could want. If you’re looking for some odd gourmet items then you might need to find a specialty grocery store, but outside of that Hy-Vee will have what you want. In addition to the standard grocery area they also have specialty areas like their meat counter, bakery, deli, specialty cheeses, florist, and natural/organic section. This location also has a First National Bank of Omaha branch inside. There is also a food area where you can get Chinese, pizza, deli, or salad items to go or dine inside. They offer a buffet where you can get any items, all you can eat, from any of those areas for a flat price of $ 12(a little steep, but there’s a decent variety). I don’t like that they close their wine and liquor section so early. Sure, you can grab an employee and they’ll open it up for you to grab what you need, but that’s just annoying to have to do and awkward as some employee is watching and waiting for you to grab what you need so they can lock it back up. Most other grocery stores have their wine and liquor fully incorporated into the rest of their grocery store so it can be easily accessed the entire time the grocery store is open. Hy-Vee’s segregation of the their alcohol means they need a dedicated employee working that area and when business slows down they don’t want that labor expense, so they close it up. I suppose it does make it convenient for people buying just alcohol during the hours that section is open, but for anyone buying it after those hours or anyone also buying groceries it’s a pain in the butt.

Was in this store doing my weekly shopping for 30 minutes– I was addressed by staff 27 times. I know they have a reputation for friendliness but it seems forced at this store, sometimes you just want to be left alone. I am in my 60’s and some 17 year old acting like they are interested in my ‘big plans’ for the weekend is just way stupid. This is a nice store, location, etc, we like it. But are on the verge of going elsewhere, it is just too obsessively preoccupied with their ‘friendly’ image.

I really like this location. The layout works really well and flows from one section to the next. Prices seem to be a bit higher than other HyVee stores but there’s also a lot of really nice items that I haven’t found anywhere else. They have samples out and about almost every time we’ve been in, so my hungry kiddo is appreciative of that. When I am on the hunt for cheese, they have their own cheese lady. There’s also a basket of cheese ends so if you just want to try something new that’s a good place to start. The cheese lady introduced me to a fabulous blue the other day that was equally funky and smooth. I ended up bringing a big hunk of that home and we’ve been itching to throw it on a turkey burger.

Wonder customer service. The know me and my family by name here. Always fresh food and always willing to help you in any way. Although I’ve never used it. They will take your groceries out to your car and will not accept tips. If they don’t have it they will order it.

This is the best Hy-Vee store in Omaha. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. They have almost everything you could need in one convenient store, and if they don’t they will try to get it for you. In addition to groceries, there is a pharmacy, florist, post office, dry cleaner, restaurant, bakery, liquor store, deli, and bank.
