Absolutely THE BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced, from any business… ever!
The employees are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. We even had a friendly R.D. (Registered Dietitian) go find an item we were looking for, then found us while we were shopping, and handed us the items. She even brought several varieties to choose from.
Exemplary customer service. I was shocked. I’m visiting from California, and have never experienced this type of friendly service. And it seemed to be every employee we encountered. If I looked lost (which I was) an employee stepped right up and offers to help.
Thanks Hy-​Vee! I wish we had this type of store back home!

This is a nice store in several ways:
* Clean and full of a large variety of products.
* The employees in the isles and at the registers are helpful.
* There are always plenty of checkout lanes open which means short lines :-)
* The gas Hy-​Vee gas station it is well stocked and the staff is also friendly.
* The Blonde lady who works evenings in the floral department is amazing with arrangements and customer service.
Things I despise about this location:
* The parking spots are overly small– unrealistically so. I parked in the biggest spot I could find, next to a cart return, and the car next to me still put one hell of a ding in my door-​and we were both within our respective lines.
* I have been here three times, and to the deli twice now. The deli staff is relatively friendly, but seems absolutely miserable, like they are overworked or something, and their food tastes… ok…I am a grandmother, and I have never used this word in a review, but it SUCKS. Bad. I mean, the mac & cheese was dry, crusty, and mushy all at the same time, The chicken has no flavor, and the gravy was definitely not served anywhere near 160 degrees. I realize this place is frequented by many seniors who have to maintain a bland diet, and that is certainly what they will get here. I will stop back when I am 120 years old to see if the food tastes more to my liking.

On April 4 my battery died in the parking lot. The frozen food manager came to the rescue. He offered to take us home, when we were having issues jump starting my truck. When we finally got it started he replaced the milk that we had bought, just in case. I’ve shopped at other Hy-​vees in the area, and this one has the greater staff! On another day one of the awesome ladies gave me a treat when I took my two boys to get a cookie. They are just great!
