HyVee 180th and Pacific - restaurant area
My husband and I ate at 178th street HyVee (Omaha) this morning. We ordered biscuits and gravy, as well as four strips of bacon. The entire ordered was inedible. The bacon was burnt to a crisp and the biscuits were rocks. Only one strip of bacon was consumed. We informed the attendant that it was all overcooked. We did not ask for a refund. We were not offered a refund. We simply were happy to leave. On the way out we happened to notice that a plate of pancakes left on another table were also burned. We won't be back and we won't be using HyVee to cater my mother's birthday party. Badly done, HyVee - very badly done.

There are several stand out employees at this location that keep me coming back. Scott in the meat department is great, Meghan(spelling?)(one of the managers) is probably the hardest working person in this store(probably the least appreciated too), and Eric in Wine & Spirits. Sadly whoever they have in charge of produce is an utter failure. Over the course of the last two years I’ve made several complaints to the effect that the produce in the coolers is, 75% of the time, not priced. I actually refuse to buy anything from this store from the produce cooler for that reason alone. If they would get someone in produce who actually cared enough to price their offerings I’d shop here for those things but for now I go elsewhere.

Unfriendly staff, make sure you watch when they are ringing things up because the sales items aren’t always correct in the computer then you have to wait for a price check. If you ask to get a bottle of wine after the liquor department is closed, they act like you are a huge inconvenience and will say«we normally don’t do this». Hope they get it together.
