Everything was fantastic and the staff was attentive. We originally were given a 45 minute wait but we were seated within 15.

This restaurant is always busy! If you’re going to check it out you need to make a reservation. The food is yummy and I love all the wood inside.

Been here multiple times and have been satisfied. Great location and service. Get mostly burgers here which are smaller than I expected but good nevertheless. Great onion rings. Would recommend to friends.

What a nice surprise. We have eaten at Lazlo’s in Lincoln several years ago. Nothing bad but nothing that made me think, «we have to go back». Had lunch on the 5th and it was way better than expected. I had the lunch special, salmon. Best salmon I have ever had. Lightly seasoned and cooked on wood grill. Wife had mahi mahi sandwich that was really good. Boys had burger and grill cheese. Nothing fancy there but they liked it. Kids meals also come with ice cream, nice bonus. Definitely have to go back.

Pretty good food, I enjoy the French dip or one of their hamburgers, they have really good fries. Although last time I was there our waiter was a little to nice to the point where it started to creep my friends and I out. But other than that I would defiantly recommend.

My wife and I stopped by for a late lunch after we realized our first choice for lunch was closed on Mondays. They were pretty dead by the time we rolled in. No one was at the front and we waited a good three minutes for anyone to notice us. We had eaten here a few other times over the years. As we perused the menu, I tried to remember what I had ordered in the past, but nothing looked familiar. I then realized the reason we don’t come here a lot is because it’s one of those it’s not good/it’s not bad restaurants. The food is fine, but forget what you even ordered by dinner because it’s so average. I made another mistake in my actual ordering by trying the French Dip. It’s a sandwich that always seems like a great idea, but then it ends up being bland and disappointing. The Lazlo’s French Dip does not disappoint in this regard. Basically tasteless, but not horrible, I was starving, so I ate the whole thing, more to get something in my stomach than anything. I had them add mushrooms and onions. They were supposed to be sautéed, but the onions were just raw. Our food came out very quickly and I was surprised to find both the sandwich and fries were just a notch above room temperature. I had considered taking a pic of my food for the review, but just didn’t even feel like making the effort. Average, boring food at an average place, lunch was over, I moved on with my life. Already I’m thinking ahead to the next time I go, because I know I’ll forget everything I learned on this go round. I’m considering getting a tattoo of a French Dip with a line through it, so I can remember important stuff like that guy in the movie, «Memento.»

Decent beer, nice conference rooms. Today I had a wholesaler meeting with my financial firm in one of the conference rooms and it seemed fine for the group that attended. The flat screen was nice even though we ended up covering it up for projection capabilities. Would have been nice to have tech assistance. Their beers are pretty normal in a beginning microbrew sense. I had the IPA and the Oatmeal Stout and was happy with them both. When asking about appetizers it seemed they were pretty limited. We ended up with chips and salsa, lavash, and onion rings which seemed to mirror Nebraska Brewing Company’s lack of quality,(no affiliation I know of). I would rate it as a tap house with bar food. Would return for an Empyrean if it weren’t so far from where I live. Instead I’ll head to Beertopia and stop at a grocery store on the way to the house…

The nachos are delicious and the beer sampler is fun to try with friends. The prime rib is always excellent and their BBQ burger is to die for. The service is always good, dine in or carry-out. Try the apple crisp made with their homemade applesauce for dessert –amazing!

I really like this restaurant because the service is great, the food is good and the ambiance is pretty cool with it being so industrial. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that they charge you 70 cents for dipping sauce! They ask you if you want it and don’t mention it’s an extra charge so you think, «Why not?». That just isn’t cool. Oh and I swear we had 12 different servers. Someone took our drink order, then someone else delivered bread to our table and then someone else brought our food and then someone else brought our check. It was a bit confusing.

This is not a brewery! There is no brewing of libations. The beer comes from Lincoln. And it’s warm. So having said that… we enjoy the food, the place is clean and the people are friendly. My son digs the French dip but the Klingon needs two to fill him up. Steaks are good, everything is truly smoked and we’ve never had a bad meal. Stay with the liquor!

We always enjoy our time here. Almost every dish or drink we have is wonderful. The wait staff is always helpful and are always smiling. I love how they give the kids homemade ice cream covered in chocolate, topped with sprinkles. They do offer take out if you want to call ahead about 20 minutes, your food will be ready. I don’t like how on Friday’s and Saturday’s they have at least a 45 minute wait and they don’t allow reservations, so that kind of stinks but they can’t control that. When we do bring our kids, although the staff are nice, people(mostly single people eating there) always seem irritated that kids are there.

I think the food here is pretty good. The beer is just okay. I came to this location to drink beer(mostly) and I have to say I was not thrilled. their brews are okay. But that is not a deal-breaker here. Most places I give three stars to I would not visit again. There are too many better places to go. But I would come here to eat and have wine instead, or non-alcoholic beverages. I like the voodoo chicken… lots of flavor and plenty to eat. They even put it on the lavosh/pizza… and it is great there, too,

Nice service, decent meal(had the Lazlo’s burger — cooked perfectly and nice flavor) and fair prices. We had a group of 5 and the reviews were pretty favorable overall. I also shared some of the Voodoo Chicken Lahvosh — interesting flavor and something I would recommend if you want to try something different(almost a cross between a pizza and flatbread).

Since it’s a well-known local chain, I’ll keep it short and sweet. Lazlo’s serves my favorite chicken dish in Omaha… possibly in the US. You’re got to try the voodoo chicken. It’s simple, spicy, and saucy. Basically a really moist chicken breast blackened, the topped with a deeply rich cheese sauce that really registers on the scoville meter! Plus it’s GF. :) The service was fine, nothing great but nothing went wrong either. They don’t take reservations ahead of time but you can do call-ahead seating on the day-of. If dining in a group larger than six, I suggest it. I like the atmosphere of the hay market location better. The ambiance seemed a bit off but I couldn’t put my finger on it. It felt half like a gastropub and half like a casual chain dining experience. With a really cool chandelier above my table. There were these huge live plants in big hanging baskets high above our heads. Just different.

I like lazlos because it is a nice kid/family friendly restaurant but it is a significant step above– food and ambiance wise, your traditional family friendly type places(any pizza place, Applebee’s, etc.) Are their entrees going to be unique and have lots of flavor complexity? Probably not, but The food is good. Tonight my mom and I split an avocado salmon salad and chicken fried chicken. The salad had too much dressing but was overall good, although if you call yourself an avocado salad you should probably have more than just a few small slivers of it. The chicken fried chicken was tasty and the wild rice and green bean sides we got with it were a nice addition. They split both of the entrees very well for us too. Good service, very clean and nice meal.

Cleanliness 3 Service 4 Food Quality 4 Likelihood 5 1 – 5(5 Best!) 4.0 Dinner for 4 please. I just wished they were closer to home. We live near Dundee and we drove to 192nd and Center to eat!!!(Thats worth free dessert, yes?) We used call a head seating, thank you. Wasn’t needed, but nice to know it works. And we were warming greeted by the staff upon arrival and shown to our table. A beverage server arrived quickly. Our appetizer arrived soon after. No salads. Our beverages were refilled by MANY different servers(great group effort, thank you!) Our dinner arrived, and it was hot, tasty, and fresh. Great job. This is our second trip to this restaurant and we experienced the same great food and service. The table was a bit sticky and had some crumbs to clean off. The restrooms were clean and well stocked.

I’ve tried several entrées here: BBQ Bacon Burger, Hot Roast Beef Sandwich, French Dip, BBQ Chicken Breast, and the Brewery Battered Fish. All are very good. I typically ask for my fries extra crispy(I like well done fries) and they always comply. Iced Tea is fresh brewed and delicious. Service is consistently slow. Kitchen speed is about average, but the wait staff have a tendency to wander off and disappear for 15 minutes at a time. I’ve experienced this on multiple occasions with multiple servers. So, come emotionally prepared for that and you’ll enjoy your dining experience more. Luna Sea ESB is my favorite beer from their lineup of Empyrean Brewing Co beers. So, please give it a try. Restaurant is always very clean and well-maintained. Though, I feel it’s a tad too dimly lit. Makes me feel like I’m in a fine Italian restaurant in the 1940s.

A hidden gem near my office! This Brewery offers amble seating and a really great menu! The food is clearly fresh and a lot of care is given into the preparation. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries-super tasty!!! Just the right amount of sauce and the chicken didn’t seem to be covered in bad breading or hidden in sauce. A nice touch was the whole-wheat tortilla; which is nice all things considered. The staff was friendly, we were seated right away. The food came out quickly and without error. The menu has a variety of wholesome American foods with a variety of Sandwiches, Wraps, Burgers and a fine selection of Omaha Steaks. I look forward to my next trip to make my way around the menu a little more. Also, as I was on lunch I wasn’t able to enjoy an adult beverage but the beer and liquor selection along with cocktail menu and pricing look very inviting!

I ordered the battered fish with fries and steamed veg(Green beans). I ordered it to go, so the fish was a bit soggy from steam, but otherwise it had good flavor. The white fish was nicely tender and fresh. The fries were bland, which made me so disappointed after reading about their house seasoning that I couldn’t find… The honey mustard is a bit liquidy for my tastes, but had good flavor. I appreciated that the steamed green beans were just that: steamed. Most places steam it then douse them in oil and seasoning. I needed a healthy side to my meal! I took a 6pack of Fallen Angel home. I hope it’s good!

Great beer. Disappointing food. As I sat in the restaurant drafting this review I had a really hard time remembering the last time I was this disappointed by food after having a couple beers. Granted, by the time our dinner arrived I was only halfway through the sampler… but even with the Apéritif, the buffalo chicken wrap I had tasted mostly like ranch, the burgers and sandwiches had refrigerated cheese, the fries were cold, not to mention the secret(read: tartar) sauce offering. The only thought I’m left with at this point is… HOW? You almost have to be trying to make food look this unappetizing, to taste this boring, and to be generally unappealing to a group people that have had over 20 oz of beer each. One of our friends took his pile of shredded cheddar cheese burger back to the kitchen himself to ask for some melting action… when it returned, the pile of cheddar had been replaced with a Kraft single(though yes, it was indeed melted). Why, why, why? After I picked the chicken bits out of the cold lettuce and ranch dressing, we tried to salvage the evening with onion rings. And while they were gigantic and fried, they too were shockingly plain. Where’s the salt and pepper at least? Having eaten at Lazlo’s in Lincoln and been less than enchanted, I can say for certainty that I won’t be driving to either Elkhorn or Lincoln for their food again. Thankfully I can get their delicious beer elsewhere.
