McLovin. I’ll admit it, the name is what got my husband and I through the door. However, once inside we were fairly underwhelmed with what I would describe as pedestrian yuppie hipster goods. They had charcoal and bamboo toothbrushes, Penguin socks, Mavi pants, Kenneth Cole shoes. High end dopp kits and messenger bags. You know where else you can find all those things? Nordstrom. As in, the mall. The store itself is fairly small, which means their inventory is limited. A limited inventory is a fine thing for a boutique store, but we were hoping for a few unique and interesting finds, and were disappointed to find no such things. The staff was friendly and attentive though, and I think with a little more attention to curating their stock would go a long way to making this store stand out.

Nice styles for the man in your life! I was a bit overwhelmed by the gal in the store who was trying to help us, she kept coming up and saying how nice this was and that was! I think she was probably looking at my outfit and thinking this guy needs some work!
I was not in the mood to be talked and talked too about how cool the clothes were and how I should get this or that!
I can see! These clothes are nice, and Yes I could probably use some new stuff! This might be a good place to do it. Though It might be a little pricey for me! But I dig the styles, just not the over bearing sales clerk telling me how cool I would look in some vest I would never wear!
But also nice to see a store dedicated only to the fashion centric male in your life!

Wow, whoever thought we would find such hot looking men’s dress and semi-​casual clothes while on a work trip to Omaha, Nebraska. What a cool store! Spring /​Summer wardrobe bought in one trip. Check!

This store seemed to have some interesting things but all of it is just too cool for me. And expensive. I started by looking at the shelf of shoes and I thought they seemed like a decent price. From there I kept looking at other things (I liked the Pan Am bags) and the shoes seemed like the only thing that I’d be willing to pay the price they were asking. We were greeted initially but promptly ignored from that point on.
The prices might be fine for what the place is, it just wasn’t anything I’d be willing to pay for it. But then again, i don’t think I’m stylish enough to wear any of this stuff. I prefer comfy and casual over hip and cool. If you do too, this probably isn’t the place for you. If you are a hipster or fancy gay (I’m an unfancy gay) you’d probably like this place.

The Old Market, NE
McLovin is a fun store. Located in the Old Market amongst many shops that seem to cater towards women, it is a welcome treat. This place is mainly for guys.
The entry and store seem kind of crowded with racks and clothing, but it is neatly presented. I don’t need fancy stuff and the prices here are pretty fair. The main reason I come here is for Original Penguin stuff. I like Pengies and this is the only store I have found the clothing in.
Sure I could buy online, but risk having to return an item due to lack of proper fit. I can come in here and get a cool polo, hat, socks, belt, etc.
McLovin is like an Urban Outfitters, but without the douchebag vibe. Pretty cool and definitely comfortable.
It is a little bit hidden and you may just walk right by, but do yourself a favor and stop in

There are only a few high end men’s clothing stores in the Midwest where you can find great style and service.
McLOVIN is a personal experience the moment you walk in. The owner, Seth, along with all the other employees, are extremely helpful at choosing what fits you best. The clothing selection is top notch with prices that are affordable and others that are appropriate for a more sophisticated customer.
Overall, McLOVIN should be every man’s first stop in Omaha.

Driving through Omaha we decided to stop and check out some of the old market stores. Went in and got great service and good deals as it was the stores one year anniversary.
Walked out with a couple pair of jeans, shirt and tees plus a birthday cupcake! Good luck in year 2.

My husband and I just stopped in to look around and were pleasantly surprised. The shop owner is a doll and his sidekick is the cutest little dog. He showed us all around the store and suggested several pants and blazers that looked amazing on the husband. The prices were fair for the style and quality of the pieces. We left with only a pair of jeans but could have bought the entire store.

This is a good place to find some great clothes in Omaha. I was surprised to see the variety of labels carried including super dry. Its a very san francisco style boutique smack dab in the middle of Omaha (Go figure). There is a store mascot a great little dog that is every so cute and sweet and the owner is just the same.

What a great addition to the Omaha downtown market! Menswear galore! Great selection and staff. A must visit for out of towners and residents.
