Okay so honestly I had to go to Neale Woods to get some extra credit for an astronomy class. We paid three dollars each(my husband and I) where they gave a little presentation on constellations and whats up with the April sky that was pretty sweet, simple, and informative. After the presentation we got to go outside to their observation area where they have telescopes set up focused on the planets that are visible at that time and some other areas of the sky such as Orion’s Nebula, it was really nice, relaxing and can even be a little romantic. The staff there was all really nice and helpful answering any questions with much enthusiasm, you can tell they are passionate about what they do. It was an unexpected surprise how much fun I had and will definitely be going back. It is a bit tricky to get there, not TOO tricky, you just need to be paying attention to where you’re going, and wear good shoes! My husband wore flip flops haha and its out in the woods.
