New China Buffet

we went when they changed the name, because we tought it was great to have chinese food that i love n mexican food, my husband loves mexican food!
so, we went, and i think everything looks like if they bought it second hand hahaha
they call mexican food to a plate full of quesadillas with ground beef inside, they look naaaastyyyyy…
the food was bad flavor, or maybe i didnt enjoy it because it looks like a bad higiene place…
and the icecream… guacalaaa, kids were taking out of the bucket, they dont even wash the thing to take the icecream, it was a bucket filled with water and kids were taking it again and again
nasty food, bad service, not clean…

I had read mixed reviews; didn’t know what to expect. Got there right at 4pm; the start of the dinner menu. There was a lot to choose from. The crab legs were very small. Go to China Buffet for crab legs. All the dishes I tried were good/​interesting, save for, strangely enough, the Hot Sour Soup; it was the least appetizing thing I had. My companion was happy to find a buffet that made at least a close approximation to Snow Shrimp; he’s been looking a long time. Things could have been bolder, flavor-​wise, but we realize that we are in the minority in that thinking. The prices were competitive with the other buffets. I feel that it is a good alternative.

This was a new place. so my husband and I wanted to check it out. We shouldn’t have. When we walked in, it looked very much like a recycled Chinese restaurant. I hesitated but then looked at the smiling faces of the wait staff… ok, I’ll stay. It was a Thursday night at 6:30…which should have been prime time and hot food. The only reason things were hot were because of the heating elements of the buffet tables. Food had been out for a while. The actual Chinese food available was limited to the basics. As for the other types of food… the Mexican and the American dishes were really horrible looking. When it came time to pay for it, the bill was so over what our dinner was worth. Hopefully with time they will get better. Yikes until then.
