Ten dollar minimum is a bunch of bull, they pay a percentage either way. I bought an 8 dollar pitcher and they said«we can charge you $ 10 for it if you want» stupid! I’m taking ATM money out to pay(I get reimbursed). Then as I’m getting ready to pay a chick got to pay for her single drink that was under $ 6 dollars with a credit card.

Office West is a pretty standard West Omaha bar. It can be hard to find if you don’t know where it’s located. Once inside, it’s larger than you would think. On a Friday night, the place was surprisingly packed. I actually went there thinking it would be a chill place to enjoy a drink and chat with my buddy. The description of this bar feeling like it’s in someone’s basement in the 70’s is spot on. I’m not sure what inspired the«Office» name but it could have something to do with the rolling office chairs that they had at each of the tables. I didn’t think the service was horrid but it wasn’t exceptional. It’s kind of hard to judge when it was as busy as it was but I did get a beer fairly quickly.

Office West, like many bars I’ve visited in Omaha, feels like someone’s basement in the 70’s. Office West is a good place to hang out and have a few drinks. Office West has dart boards, a pool table, and an updated jukebox. One of the two bartenders was wasted when I was last there, but as long as you got the sober bartender the service was fine. It does smell in here like stale beer/urine and it could stand a good solid cleaning, but overall it is a comfortable place to gather.

Steph must be friends with the staff because that’s the only way to get a drink in this place. Horrid service and it seriously smells like… I don’t know, but its extremely unpleasant. Skip this joint, for real.
