One of the best breakfast places in town. Don’t think. Just go.

Food was good, not amazing but simple café food. Hash browns cooked perfectly. Prices fair. I feel a true brunch and breakfast joint should have homemade jams and preserves. They did not, instant disappoint in my brunch mind. However clean place, friendly people. The restaurant itself is smell expect a wait. Usually quick turn around but still always a wait. No gluten free options and minimal vegetarian.

My party of two was seated immediately just before 11AM on a Monday holiday. Service was prompt and friendly. I tried their breakfast special, The Monterrey, which was eggs scrambled with bell peppers and bacon served on grilled focaccia bread all topped with cheese and served with a side of potatoes lightly dusted with parmesan cheese. The meal was yummy albeit a little too carb-heavy for me to finish. My fiancé tried The Hired Hand, which was biscuits served with country ham, eggs, and hash browns smothered in sausage gravy. His eggs were a little overcooked and the gravy was borderline too salty but he still thoroughly enjoyed his meal. Overall, we had a good experience but found the $ 30 check for two breakfast entrees and two drinks a bit pricey.

The restaurant is small, intimate, and well– lit. The waitress seemed to be a little frustrated when I asked what she would recommend(hey, I just want to get what is best on the menu to crate a happy experience for all), but all in all the servers seem to be very friendly. My waitress ended up recommending the waffles and I ordered those with eggs. The waffle was actually really good. It was pretty sweet, but one of the better ones I have had. The over hard eggs and bacon I ordered were not that great. They tasted like they had been drowned in butter and oil. Maybe it is because I do not use that much at home, but I should not have to wipe down my food. It was not bad for an intimate breakfast with a friend, but I was not head over heels about it. The waffle gives me hope that the other dishes are probably better.

YUM! My sister and I were going to breakfast and wanted to try something new to us and ½ way. Bailey’s it was. BAILEY’S ITIS! The Corned Beef Hash is phenomenal; with the oat bread it kept me filled all day long! My sis had the Crab Avocado Benedict. Having just gotten back from Hawaii, I was a bit hesitant on the freshness of the crab. OHTOTALLY A 5STAR!!! With the mimosa, hers was an absolute perfect breakfast AND extremely well proportioned… WECOULDHAVESHAREDIT! Nice job, chef!

French toast, forever and always. Bailey’s is affordable, consistent, and most importantly, delicious. I’m never disappointed with my food here. The service is friendly and well timed. Love it!

I’ve been hearing great things about Bailey’s for a couple of years, so I decided to give it a try. Bailey’s is part of the Absolutely Fresh Seafood /Shucks family. They use a number of local suppliers for their food and you know their seafood is going to be fresh as the parent company owns the best seafood supply company in town. They do get very crowded. Especially on Sunday mornings. We arrived at 10:45AM on a Sunday and were told it would be a 25 minute wait for a table. It turned out to only be a 10 minute wait. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Classic Trucker off of their breakfast menu. It comes with 3 eggs(I ordered them poached), 2 strips of bacon, 1 sausage patty, 1 sausage link, hash browns, and toast or pancakes(I opted for toast). I also had them add on an order of biscuits and gravy because I have to try the biscuits and gravy at every breakfast place I eat at. Their eggs are poached in only the loosest send of the method. Ideally, to poach an egg you gently place it directly into simmering water. It’s a delicate process that takes a bit of refined technique to get the egg to poach without the egg white dispersing in the water. Bailey’s is obviously using metal cups that they break the egg into and then cook it with steam. The look, feel, and density of the egg whites gives it away. Some of you may even have one of those«Make poached eggs easily at home!» things yourselves. Additionally, poached eggs are not available«soft, medium, or hard» as Bailey’s will ask you. A properly poached egg only comes one way: a runny yoke and no raw white. I understand that Eggs Benedict(which Bailey’s, like most good restaurants, makes with poached eggs) is what this place is best known for. That, coupled with their popularity, and I imagine they probably have to crank out a hellacious amount of poached eggs every hour. So, perhaps their way of «cheating» on egg poaching allows them to keep up the needed kitchen tempo. Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a bummer to me. Sausage was very good. I actually preferred the patties to the links which is almost never the case for me. Bacon was decent. I forgot to request it extra crispy. It was, however, nice thick-cut quality bacon and not that paper thin stuff that so many restaurants try and serve these days. Hash browns were tasty and crispy. Biscuits and gravy were good. The biscuits themselves were awesome. The gravy was just okay. Orange juice was super pulpy. I realize that a little pulp gives orange juice a more homemade fresh-squeezed mouth feel, but it seriously tasted like I was drinking a glass of pulp. I was tempted to ask them if they used a juicer or if they just threw the oranges into a blender. People who like pulpy orange juice will usually happily drink pulp-free orange juice. However, people who like pulp-free orange juice will not usually drink pulpy orange juice and like it. So, why not err on the side of the lease common denominator and serve pulp-free orange juice? On my next visit, I think I’ll try the Lox. I hear very good things about it. Overall, a good solid place for breakfast. I wasn’t blown away by it as so many other reviewers are. I think it’s a little over-hyped and overrated. However, please give it a try. It is a good place to grab breakfast.

This place was packed at lunch and I had to try the biscuits and gravy. Another worthy version of the classic. I love that their plate comes with two eggs as well… I usually add over-easy eggs to my B&G. Service here was super nice.

We’ve been here a couple of times. If I’d done the review after the first visit it probably would have been four stars(they lose a star for no wifi, how am I supposed to check into Unilocal with no wifi?). Had breakfast for lunch, eggs bendict and an omelet. Tried the coffee cake which was a warm, moist, flavorful slice if deliciousness. So we went back. This time the coffee cake was cold, over cooked, and hard as a rock. Big disappointment. My daughter got the same thing as last time but came out totally different. Consistency is an issue here. Not enough that I won’t ever go back, but enough that I won’t make a special trip.

A great place for breakfast. Their specialty is the benedict, and they do a great job at poaching eggs! I had the Lox Benedict, it was very good, I had a little Cholula pepper sauce on the side and it was perfect. Service was good, they tend to forget to bring out side dishes such as pancakes that came with the meal. I smelled burnt toast coming from the kitchen a couple of times. Overall it was good experience.

Absolutely delicious bloody Mary’s. The bacon was heavenly in them and the food we ordered was top notch as well. We have been back a few times already!

Well I would say it’s probably the best pancake /egg place or breakfast type food place in town. Their sausages are probably the best breakfast sausages. Their bacon is tough to beat, though I have had better at a few different places not in Omaha. I went in on Monday at 10AM and it was nearly full.

Came here on vacation and was absolutely blown away. The servers were super friendly and fast. The manager even came over to our table to welcome us and it just made the experience that much better. As for the food, it looked like something you’d see on the cooking shows, plated gorgeously. And the taste couldn’t have been better. The coffee cake was moist and had that perfect blend of bite. I never knew bacon could taste so great. We tried a few things we’d never had before; crab and avocado benedict, a mamosa, crepes. Everything was on point and over on flavor. Definitely going to be coming back, even if it is a 3.5 hour drive from home.

I’ve eaten at Bailey’s a few times and it’s always been really good but this last time I went on Ash Wednesday with my mom and it was fantastic! Of course it was busy but we didn’t have to wait very long. We sat in a booth and enjoyed some coffee before ordering. I had Teri’s Crepes which were stuffed with grilled chicken, asparagus, roasted red pepper, mascarpone and topped with hollandaise. The presentation was great — I took a picture of it. My mom likewise enjoyed her veggie omelet. The service was very friendly. What a special treat! Will definately go back when I’m in the area and have a day off for breakfast.

Quaint breakfast place. Wait for food and to be sat was a little long but that’s ok because we were able to catch up with some old friends. We had a table right by the door(brrrr) and people waiting to eat were crowding into our eating area. The breakfast burritos weren’t very good, I would skip this on the next visit. The bennies were ok, not very hot temperature wise. Breakfast for two was $ 28 excluding tip.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while now, I always see it when I go to broncos next door. I got there at about 1045 in the morning and the place was packed which made me feel good because the food should be great. As I was waiting i made it a point to look at all tge food being brought out. It all looked really good. The food looked classy but not overdone. I did notice that their pancakes were really inconsistent which scared me because i was really craving some cakes. After waiting about an hour, or a little longer, I finally got a table, and a had my drink within minutes. I ordered two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and 3 small pancakes. The reviews on here said the bacon was the best and it was amazing! Definitely one of my top two favorites and the other one isn’t from a restaurant. Most restaurant bacon sucks so I was extremely happy. The eggs and Hash browns were good. And now here is the reason for not giving 5 stars. The cakes. Mine came out darker than some but they still weren’t fully cooked. They were good but a little mushy and that wasn’t from the syrup. The waitstaff and host had excellent service skills and I can’t wait to go back and try more items. You can’t do much about the long wait when the food is good so that didn’t bother me much. Great place!

Breakfast anytime(for those of you who are into that kind of thing). And how could you NOT be into breakfast at Bailey’s? A place that can crank out poached eggs to your preference(soft, medium or hard) and sling those eggs with equal zeal into dishes like the Vintner’s Eggs(with asparagus, chopped bacon and tomatoes) and their signature benedicts(from classic to crab). Since this place is part of the Shuck’s empire, you can feel confident that the crab you’re eating is quality too — not just leftovers from Friday and Saturday nights dinner. The website is accurate when it says that Bailey’s is still getting discovered too. Even though it’s been around since 2007 I’ve taken several people there recently who live in the area and had no idea it existed. Of the menu items I’ve tried, everything has been so spot-on it’s hard to not want to try everything.(Even the bagel and lox comes with a Bagel Bin bagel). It’s details like that I can really appreciate. The Huevos Rancheros was a tasty pile of refried beans, chorizo, eggs, cotija cheese and salsa fresca, served on two flour tortillas. I ate this one two ways, working to down-size the pile, and then wrapping the remainder in the soft tortillas. There’s even Chohula on the tables to kick things up a notch. The aforementioned Vintner’s Eggs is essentially just a beautiful plate of food. So much so that as I was chowing on the Huevos on my last visit, I promised myself I’d have the Vitner’s next time. Grilled asparagus dusted with parmesan cheese, and topped with two poached eggs, chopped bacon and fresh sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil. Plus toast! Crab Benedict — as you might expect — includes crab, poached eggs and hollandaise. Avocado too. And one of my all-time favorite, the Guerrero Benedict… with chorizo sausage, refried beans, cojita cheese, drizzled with a chipotle hollandaise. Drool. All the benedicts are served with fresh fruit and browns and come in half-orders too, which is a nice option that leaves room for silver dollar pancakes or a belgian waffle. The more that I think about it, it’s safe to say Bailey’s is my favorite breakfast in town. Get there now and enjoy.
