Wth has happened to this joint?!? Over $ 4 for a pork tenderloin that’s not even edible! Hi Ho!

I am not rating this based on the food because I did not eat here. My rating is based on the service or lack there of. I waited in line for 10 mins with only there people in front of me when I started waiting. Also, it was not that they were under staffed as they had 8 or more people working behind the counter. I think they have no idea how to run a restaurant. Honestly I can’t believe the place is still open and that people will tolerate incompetent service.

I have to update my review based on a number of similarly disappointing experiences since my initial review. I was enamored with Bronco’s the first few times: greasy burgers, great fries, a blast from the past. However, the shine has worn off and now we just have a place that still offers fairly solid food, when you get it and if it is done correctly. The ordering system at Bronco’s is a mess. To be specific, the filling of the order in the kitchen is a mess. Once you place an order, the kitchen is essentially handed a piece of paper with the orders on it. So, the cooks are having to read little pieces of paper and often miss important details, like special requests on food preparation or even the number of items on the ticket. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had to send food back because the burger was not prepared correctly according to our requests or they forgot to include an item. We also ended up with extra food one time because they couldn’t figure out what I ordered from the ticket so I had to tell them specifically what was missing after they«thought» they filled my order correctly. There’s gotta be a better way to bring the ordering system into the 21st century. Just because your appeal is «old school» doesn’t mean your business practices have to be, too. The biggest issue is probably the turnover in staff. We rarely see the same people twice, which isn’t completely surprising in this industry, but I’d say the training at Bronco’s for new employees is likely not very extensive. My wife won’t be going back to Bronco’s. She told me to drop them to one star. I can’t do that myself because I like the food and am willing to deal with the other issues to enjoy it. But, it has fallen down a bit in my eyes but I hope they can get some of these issues worked out with the ordering system because it needs it desperately.

Needs Cust Serv Training! Attitudes suck here and the food quality has gone so far downhill, I cant believe it is still open.

It’s greasy and delicious! You can’t go wrong with a big bronco and a large fry! I love the food but they lack in friendly staff. I have gone to Bronco’s since I was a child and it seems like everyone has a bad attitude and hate their lives.

Broncos is great… just not this one… Poor service… people not friendly… did not take phone coupon… not to clean… So if your in this area… avoid this one and go to the one on Leavenworth… it worth the drive.

Haven’t been to this place since moving to Omaha with my mom. It’s a local institution offering old school burgers and fries. Not too many frills or bells and whistles, just quality ingredients. Went with the Bronco burger and knew I would be here more often. The burger was super fresh and filling. Will now be my go-to choice if I don’t have enough room for a Double Don but need something more than a Runza burger. The fries aren’t much to write home about but again they are worth a visit because of the simplicity. Go here if you just want a good burger and some fries on the side.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER! I arrived a good 2.5 hours before closing and an employee that was mopping the floor was so upset that people were coming in «so close to close» that he could be heard cursing and throwing things because he had to clean again. At one point a family walked in and he again started cursing and giving the family dirty looks for coming in «so late». To make matters even worse he proceeded to go over to customers that were eating and asking them when they planned to leave because he was«trying to get off early». When I went to the counter to tell the person at the register what the other employee was saying and doing he simply said«yeah, he does that sometimes» the female employee behind him could be seen laughing. Bronco’s should be ashamed to have this type of service and employees in their restaurant! I contacted corporate about the situation through their website and have yet(2 months ago) to hear back from anyone! I for one will not be back to this location!

Love me some greasy broncos! The double cheeseburger is so good! The fries are homemade. One star is missing for how I feel afterwards! But it is totally worth it!

Absolutely nothing special. The burger patties are the thinnest I’ve ever seen. Bland and unimpressive with all that I tried. I haven’t finished a single thing I’ve gotten there. If the FARTINTHEWINDFOOD doesn’t keep you away, then the fact they took the time to put my fries in a small bag then dump them upside down on my sandwich might. For those of you who support bronco’s for the history, find some better quality history.

This is such a better location than the one on Leavenworth… It’s bigger and actually has places to sit… Plus the burger I got tasted better… Prices are pretty reasonable… and if it wasn’t on the other side of town, I’d certainly be coming here more

Bronco’s is a classic 50’s burger joint with a cowboy theme. Every Omaha resident is obligated to pay them a visit once a decade or so(which in itself will supply over 100 visitors per day and keep them in business for quite a long time). I’ve visited a few times with friends who were hoping to revisit a childhood favorite, but came away unimpressed. The menu: On my first visit, I felt like I needed a guide. What’s a Pony? What’s a Big Bronco? The environment: Hard tile everywhere, tables that are bolted to the floor, a light coating of grease here and there. They have four full-size pinball machines and a half-dozen other games. Decoration consists of some old, abused fiberglass cowboys. The service: I guess I’m glad they provide jobs for individuals on the border of employability. Cheerfulness is clearly not a job requirement. The burgers: The burgers are average-sized patties of grey, greasy meat-ish matter. They’re freshly made, but somehow grew cold by the time I got to my table. On one visit, they were slathered with mustard. Ketchup is the other available condiment. The fries: The thin fries were pretty good, and came with a moderate amount of salt. The frying oil didn’t seem to be too old. The shakes: Classic from-a-machine shakes, moderately creamy. They’re not up to the standards set by the better places, but I’ll admit they go pretty well with the meal. Bottom line: Okay for the memories, or if you crave a fast-food burger but want to stay local.

Greasy Yummy Food + Fast Food Speed + Long time Omaha Establishment + Hunger = Awesome. You’re not going to get any gourmet food here or probably even stellar service. You come here a few times a year and get your fix of their greasy fries and their burgers. It’s fast food meets greasy spoon.

If I could give a –5 to this«restaurant» I would. Proudly. Whatever the hell they gave us resembled a burger after it had been digested, regurgitated back up, and left under an overpass for a week. The staff was inept, the bathroom was vile, and they just dumped three orders worth of fries on top of our burgers. Please don’t support this«restaurant» for any reason.

If you live in Omaha and have never been here, what is wrong with you!!! Been going here since I was in diapers and it’s literally the best fast food burger joint in town. Everything on the menu is delicious, especially the Big Bronco burger. The regular cheeseburger and pork tenderloin are also heavy hitters. The fries are the best in town as well. I’ve now bought a French fry cutter to duplicate these fries. Oh ya and Pepsi products. The 120th location is nice and spacious with an easy to order and serve yourself setup. They have a handful of arcade games for the kiddos. Life size statue of The Duke as well, gotta love a place with that. My two sons beg me to go here constantly and they know great food!

The food is okay… but this place needs a major cleaning… the floors are always greasy under the tables… I hope the manager reads this and sits in a couple of different booths and sees what the customer sees… it is disgusting

Bronco’s is an Omaha Classic. So much better than any other fast food restaurant around here. I mean come on, it looks like a ‘50s drive in and their fries actually taste like potatoes. No salt or ketchup needed. Best fries I’ve ever had, bar none. Great fried chicken as well. Always clean and friendly, sometimes I wish there were more locations, but that may compromise the quality of restaurant.

If you love grease you’ll this place! Some say food is good? Obviously their palates are less than discerning, as it makes McDonalds in comparison look like a five star dining experience! It may be cheap and some people equate cheap as good, I however would rather pay a little more for something that tastes like hamburger. It may be an old Omaha landmark with fond childhood memories, but sometime you have to make progress! Tear it down! There are establishments that do serve decent food!

Sams was knock off from Bronco’s. As Sam used to work for Bronco’s. Same exact thing. Broncos is the bomb. Try the chicken, its awesome.
