I have been really disappointed with the service here. Here are two examples of what I have experienced. 1. A few months ago — I called and placed and order to go — was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. So I arrived about 30 minutes later and they can’t find it. Finally they find the ticket and are like ‘whoops, it was stuck to another one — we will make you another and set you up for a free large any type of pizza in the future.’ They made sure to have my number and said that the free pizza would be tied to my phone number. About 10 minutes later the woman working the front desk realizes that the pizza has not been started, apologizes and throws in a free soda. When they bring out the pizza, she apologizes and says that they forgot to flip the crust? it was one of those with the cheese filled dippers surrounding it. She says it will taste the same, but offers to make another. I say that this is fine — and she throws in an order of cheesy bread. The reality is that while I was frustrated — I wasn’t mad at all — I totally appreciate someone stepping up to the plate and stating that they made a mistake. They also attempted to resolve the mistake. 2. Last night I call and order a pizza — it was Lent and I was looking for something simple to have that was simple. I asked first if I could have this pizza ready for pick up at 7:30 which was about 50 minutes later. I was told that they could do this — I ordered ½ with cheese, red onions, mushrooms and pineapple and ½ meat lovers. I arrive and they take my money and can’t find my pizza — the woman helps the couple behind me and disappears. For the next 10 minutes — I am trying to get someone’s attention and they avoid my eyes — I finally get her attention and wave her out there — she says ‘I’ll be with you in a minute, sir.’ She finally comes around and says ‘I’m sorry sir, they burned your first pizza and cooked you another one.’ I comment on the fact that someone should have said something and that I would have canceled as I didn’t have time to wait. I tell her I want to cancel and I want my money back. She says — ‘it’s done — they are cutting it up right now.’ I comment that I don’t care, I should have been told and now this is the second time I have had trouble with this place and that I am really frustrated. A guy comes up with my pizza and doesn’t say anything. She offers me a pop and I tell her I don’t want a pop — I want my money back. He also is carrying the other pizza and says, ‘do you want this one as well?’ I reply that ‘if it is burnt why would I want it?’ ‘well we are just going to end up throwing it away.’ I take it because I want to see how burnt it is. No one says anything as I again comment that this is terrible customer service and I doubt I will be using this store again. As soon as I got home, I looked — absolutely not burnt. I think they didn’t wait to have it ready at 7:30 like I had asked and it had been removed as it had been sitting there for too long. And lastly — as I am finishing my second piece, I realize that I have been eating something that tastes an awful lot like ham and since it was Ash Wednesday — I wasn’t supposed to. Sure enough — I look at the remaining slices and the meat free side is covered with ham. I will be writing the company.
