Pizza Hut

I have loved this pizza hut for years. But, lately they have totally missed the mark on producing the delicious, tasty pizza hut pizza hut pizza I grew up on. I have been eating pizza hut pizza 50 years. I had such a disappointing pizza that lacked red marinara sauce. When I went in to get a replacement they didn’t have my order. Upon asking how long it would be, they said 10 minutes to make it. It took 25 minutes and it was made wrong. I gave them two tries and long waits and decided not to go back. Very disappointing. All the manager Pete could say was we are sorry, but it just didn’t get made right.

I ordered delivery last night because I was home alone and can’t really walk due to a severe ankle sprain. I ordered the Alfredo pasta and a Hershey’s brownie. Total is was about $ 18 for just that with the delivery fee. For just one person that’s a little expensive but the pasta is for 2 people and the cookie can be shared with 9 so the price isn’t too bad. I ordered it through the app and on the special delivery instructions I asked to include a fork, because my kitchen is upstairs and I was in the living room next to the front door down stairs, and I didn’t want to risk falling down the stairs while I was home alone. The food was delivered about 15 min early which really surprised me because it was about 7:30 on Saturday when I ordered it. The food was hot and they remembered the fork I asked for! The pasta came with 5 bread sticks, the pasta was good but the edges were hard and dried out, so I’m not sure if it was sitting under a warmer for a long time or what, but it still tasted ok, it was not anything deluxe but for Pizza Hut it was fine. The brownie was nice and warm as well, I had no complaints. All in all I don’t normally get Pizza Hut delivered or anyway what’s so ever but for my situation last night it worked out well, if I needed something delivered again I would consider Pizza Hut!

I must be luck. Don’t usually have any issues here other than them being slow sometimes. They’ll say 15 minutes for pick up but we’ll get there in 10 minutes and have to wait an additional 20. Other than slow, no real issues in 12 years.

Yuck, yuck & yuck!
I live right by this place & while I already thought Pizza Hut sucked, I only ordered it because I heard their wings were good. Well that was a big fat lie!
Ordered 24 wings & a large pizza. I didn’t like that ranch or bleu cheese didn’t come with the wings, it was an additional .50 per sauce. Reluctantly ordered the sauce…
This was Super Bowl Sunday & the weather was awful so I have to hand it to the nice young man who delivered the food.
But the food itself…

Pizza was dull. Won’t be ordering from here ever again

Our poor server seems new, and was overly nervous. Everything with the food was fine.
The only thing would be that our server dropped the check off super early and then disappeared out the side door with another employee. No pre-​bus and no «do you need a box» check. I’m assuming that it was smoke break time?

Crazy mess. The entire place. An untrained waitress did her best to wait on us. She had to go «out back to the shed» to get our straws… That took 10 minutes. Food we ate at the restaurant was good. At the end of our meal I asked for an order of breadsticks to go. This confused the entire staff apparently. Took 20 minutes to get this taken care of… And when we opened the box, they had seasoned one half side of the breadsticks. Wth?

Wow! This is the closest Pizza Hut to our house by a good margin. And this place is crazy. I will say my order is usually correct and tastes pretty good (for Pizza Hut). I almost always order online and then pick up 10 – 15 minutes past the «ready time». This is done out of experience. While the cooking staff seems to be quite competent, everyone I see working counters or tables seem lost in space. On a recent visit, I was waiting to get my carry out order as were many other people. I watched two workers eating food at the front counter and one asked the manager if they could get another free cheesesticks (keep in mind, they are standing around eating and 8 – 10 people are waiting for orders). I saw a teenage worker goofing around knock over a large stack of plastic cups causing much commotion. Others were texting in plain sight. There was also a line of several people with eat-​in and carry out orders waiting to talk with a «manager» about problems. There were about 12 employees total and 3 were trying to get stuff done, all visibly rattled. Suddenly another person returned from outside holding an open pizza box and looking concerned. My name was called, I got my order and ran as fast as I could. Got home… discovered a toppings mishap. Shame on me for not checking, but no way I was going back!
