Nicely done. LOVED the crust. Meat Locker was loaded with toppings. Only tough criticism was the Pizza Blanca was a little bland — chicken was bland, too. Found my favorite desert — peanut butter pie — and it DIDNOT disappoint. Nice atmosphere. Very nice help. Overall, very, very solid place and will be back!

Delicious pizza, and super fast. We ordered pizza and it arrived at the table in about 10 minutes. Loved that they allowed for half and half pizzas. Lots of toppings, thin crust was good! Huge chunks of Canadian bacon on the meat lovers!

Great little stop. Good flavor, small amounts but ok for us, family flair, nice place for families.

I stopped in for dinner. lovely large place, plenty of parking and comfortable booths or large tables. the place is orange but its charmingly decorated and comfortable. you order from the wall menu at the counter, they give you a number and you collect your drink and tableware on the well stocked«table» including the to go boxes. the staff was friendly and enthusiastic about their food and checked in with me and my fellow diners often to make sure we were pleased with the food. i was. zero complaints. the prices were affordable and I have leftovers. I ordered a small Meat locker and a order of garlic cheese bread. the cheese bread and marinara came first and was simply delicious. perfect balance and that BREAD it had to be house made. if I could make bread like that i’d be a happy woman and i bet their sandwiches are amazing. they have cookies and cupcakes and cheesecake displayed that looked delish. they have a varied menu for anybody to find something to eat and from what i had it was all fresh. the bread– it was perfect base for one of my favorite things garlic cheese bread and this was utterly the best garlic cheese bread I’ve had thus far. my only improvement thought was i wished they had a half order of the pepperoni knots for single diners. the pizza came a nice paced time after and it was nicely topped. the crust is different from what I’ve had at past pizza places. I respectfully disagree with the review said it tasted like fillo dough and was buttery and flaky and greasy. mine was not at all, and it almost stopped me from coming but a coworker assured me that Raggazi’s was not a place to pass up and he loved the crust. mine wasn’t like filo(yes I’ve actually baked with organic filo so i know what its like, or buttery which made me think it might be croissant like which it wasn’t. flaky maybe but it was a very nice crispy bottom with a airy feel to the rest of the crust. the crust held up to the 4 toppings of the meat locker very well without being soggy, the sauce was very good. toppings were ample and all the players hamburger sausage Canadian bacon thick sliced and pepperoni were VERY tasty. in all i was extremely pleased with my experience and i urge everybody to try Ragazzis out.

This is a great place to eat with the family. The angel hair marina and pepperoni knots are two of my favorite dinner menu items, but the peanut butter pie takes the cake! I recommend it for a casual dinner out.

I have gotten take out pizza from here twice… both times because of a GroupOn deal… and both times were less than average. Like most of the reviews mention – it’s the pizza crust. It is just a buttery, flakey crust that tastes like Fillo dough more than a pizza crust. Don’t get me wrong, I love Fillo dough, but not the greasy mess Ragazzi’s ends up serving. My first experience I remember thinking the crust was sub-par, but after this second round, my boyfriend and I both felt a little sick and ended up throwing out half the pizza. I am giving them two stars though because both times the service was quick and friendly. But the pizza just isn’t right…

Can’t understand the poor reviews, we thought their crust was spot on: crispy on the bottom and thin but sturdy. Our Margarita pizza was deere-lish. Had two side salads there were far more interesting than the usual plates of «lettuce» that some joints call salad! I’ve been in three times now, there wasn’t a miss with any of the visits. I only discovered it via a Groupon or Living Social(can’t recall which). So glad I did. Honestly, love the crust — for us it’s not about the bready crust. Pizza should be about«the stuff» not the crust. But the crust should be able to support toppings. Ragazzi’s does this superbly. Not sure, but think it’s locally owned, too. Always a plus for me? CLEAN. This place is spotless, as well as the restrooms.

I enjoyed my visit to Ragazzi’s today. We were there for a late lunch. We were greeted by the owner who was very kind. We ordered salads, the Polynesian and Ragazzi pies and onion rings. All were great. The onions rings came with their homemade ranch which was awesome on the rings and on our salad. They had a great breading which was not greasy in the slightest. The pizza, well I really enjoyed my for lunch and dinner. I liked the crust as it was different than other places. Because of other comments on the place I was worried I wouldn’t like it but I really did. It was great the first time and on the reheat. It was a thicker thin crust. We enjoyed our salads and were happy it wasn’t just a bunch of iceberg lettuce like many other pizza places in town hand out. Also the ranch was great! Even though you order at the counter, they still checked on us a couple of times during our lunch. I thought that was nice. I also brought home a chocolate chip cookie and it was heavenly. I am in cookie coma as I write this.

It’s the crust. The ingredients seem fine, but crust can make or break a pizza. It seems like it’s made from sloppy wet dough out of pastry flour without salt but maybe with butter and milk. It’s something between pizza crust and Bisquick. Didn’t care for the crust one little bit.

This place has truly terrible food. I have had much better frozen, gas station or chain restaurant pizzas than this place. Plus, it is very overpriced and has an awful beer selection. Do yourself a favor and support one of the other pizza joints in this town. I’d rather eat a bowl of fingernail clippings than at this place again.

We had Ragazzi’s cater lunch and it was delicious! Jeff was so nice. The thin crust pizza tasted great. The Polynesian pizza, pepperoni knots, and chopped salad is worth trying.

We tried ragazzis for the first time tonight. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good and the restaurant is clean. None of us were impressed with the food. My husband said his cheeseburger and my sons chicken tenders were dry. My son could barely choke them down. My daughters grilled cheese was 2 pieces of white bread with a piece of cheese. My pasta was okay, but had a weird flavor – almost like plastic. None of us tried the pizza, and we may give it another shot someday but for now, we will stick to Red’s Savoy and Godfathers.

We’ve ordered take out from here several times. I’d say the Amo pizza is my favorite. It’s pepperoni with hot sauce. Pretty unique. They also have a couple of veggie pizzas that are good. The crust is thin almost a cracker/flatbread, not for everyone, but I like it. All in all, this isn’t my favorite pizza place in all of Omaha, but it has a spot in our rotation. I also recommend their cupcakes. The vanilla ones almost remind me of those fabulous cupcakes Dolce used to sell.

Pretty good pizza. Salads were good. Open atmosphere that is a little loud as it really appeals to families. Didn’t try the bakery but things looked good. Definatlely will come back.

We love this place! The owners are so very nice and make a point to walk around and check that your meal is good. Love the food– the chopped salad is really good and they are nice enough to sub the blue cheese with parm! I highly recommend!

I was excited about this place opening in my neighborhood but wow was I disappointed. I tried the personal pizza and the crust was bland, in fact everything about the pizza was bland. Honestly a frozen Totino’s pizza is better. The staff is friendly and seems like a nice cheap family atmosphere.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. This time we stopped by for a snack and had the Buffalo Chicken pizza. We should have gotten a larger size because it was delicious! This place is different from your traditional restaurant in that you place your order, get your own supplied(napkins, plates, drinks, etc.) and they bring your pizza to you. If you can’t handle having to help yourself a little bit then you might not like this place as much. I for one have no issue grabbing my own stuff so that I can enjoy the best pizza in town.

We went here only a few weeks after this location opened, so maybe things have improved a bit. We thought that the pizza was overpriced for what was served. The toppings were very sparse. We counted 7 pepperoni on the large ragazzi traditional pizza(2nd ingredient being pepperoni). We did not even taste a hint of garlic on this pizza(1st ingredient being garlic). Polynesian pizza was fairly good with a unique taste, but again the toppings were very sparse for the price. If the toppings are sparse, they better taste amazing then. The servers were friendly. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and bright. We were expecting more from the pizza based on the reviews from the other ralston location! Hopefully the pizza at this location will improve!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Ragazzi’s Pizza & Bakery for the first time at their new location near 156th& Maple St. The customer service was fast, helpful, and suggestive and very friendly. My friend and I enjoyed a large Margherita Pizza which comes on a very thin crust. The sauce is very mild(I am a fan of Red Savoy’s sauce because it has great flavor), the basil is plentiful, and the Roma tomatoes are sliced whole me both would have liked them diced so as to enjoy tomatoes in every bite, or more sliced tomatoes. But overall, the pizza was very good! I understand that their other pizzas come on a thicker crust. The quality of ingredients were very good and the prices of the large was approximately $ 18. My friend ordered a side salad and it was tasty although the lettuce was a bit brown. It had some cheese, an onion, and some croutons. Nothing fancy. We finished the night with a dozen cupcakes to take home. They are $ 2.35 a piece. I personally enjoyed the red velvet and pink champagne. My friend liked the salted caramel chocolate. I was less than impressed with the vanilla bean. It needed more vanilla flavoring and the frosting was dry. I will give it a second chance as vanilla cupcakes are my favorite! They also had a great selection of other pastry items that looked pretty tasty and they also do cakes. Definitely a place worth trying again! It’s a large restaurant that can accommodate large groups too.

I’ve never been to the original Ragazzi’s so this review is specific to the new location that recently opened on 156th and Maple. The place was a definite upgrade over Pizza Gourmet whose interior left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I didn’t think that the pizza was much of an upgrade. Perhaps it’s because this location is new and they’re still trying to work out the kinks. It was obvious to me that they were trying hard to be a great pizza place but it just wasn’t there for me. The flavor of the pizza wasn’t bad certainly not on par with the best places in town(Mangia Italian, Dante’s, Pitch, or even Zio’s). The best comparison to me is Red’s Savoy. Having said that, I will likely be back to try it again.
