Saddle Creek Shop

I’m giving 4 stars because I am, most definitely a fan. I’ve been listening to music on Saddle Creek for about 15 years. I used to look up flights from Los Angeles (where I’m originally from) to Omaha. It been a plan of mine for years to come visit this lovely city. Now that I live in Minnesota, I finally convinced my wonderfully supportive and patient fiancé to go on a road trip with me to Omaha. We got here and really enjoyed the city. We walked from our hotel to the Saddle Creek shop on a Saturday and it was closed. My heart was so broken (I didn’t cry). Despite this, we still love Saddle Creek and plan on visiting Omaha again, and going to the Saddle Creek Shop on a Friday. Had they been open, I’m certain they would have received 5 stars from me.

Very nice shop! The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and gave me some recommendations for dinner and other things to do while I was in town!

Amazing customer service. Great prices. They even hold live performances which is pretty rad.

Small selection of new vinyl that is very well organized. The store is well laid out and very clean. Most of the albums they carry are full length with only a handful of 7″ available. I really liked the staff. The cashier offered to special order any new releases I am searching for and gave me a free sampler CD.

I like this shop! It’s clean and they usually always have the title I’m looking for, if they don’t Nate is always good to order it for me. The prices are about the same to the other record stores in Omaha. Now they don’t carry all genres of music and that is ok by me. They carry a lot of stuff I love to listen too.

When I was there two guys were playing an acoustic show to a crowd of 5 ppl. Didn’t shop much. Only saw new vinyl and some CDs. Didn’t seem like the prices were any better than the shops in old market.
