If you’re looking for expensive pizza that tastes similar to a frozen pizza that you can buy from the grocery store, then this is your place! I was very disappointed in my recent experience at Goodnights prior to an event at the CenturyLink. The restaurant was packed, but I now know that people only go there because there aren’t a lot of other food options around CenturyLink prior to a big event. I’m assuming this restaurant is usually pretty busy before big events, but truthfully the staff acted like this was their first time being so busy. I can’t tell you how many times we had staff come to us with food asking if it was what we ordered(it wasn’t) – they had no clue who the food was supposed to go to! You definitely would think they would have their system down by now as to knowing where food needs to go. They do have some fun pizza options on their menu with all specialty pizzas. My friend and I were just looking for a plain pizza without all the toppings, so we asked if we could order a pizza with just one topping. They said we could, so she ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and I ordered a small with sausage. Two things about this: first, my friend’s pizza with pepperoni had about one piece of pepperoni per slice(disappointing!) while mine had an ok amount of sausage. However, imagine our shock when we received our checks and found that our pizzas costs $ 19 each! The same amount that the menu said their specialty pizzas were for multiple toppings. How disappointing that they feel the need to overcharge for their pizza – especially a pizza that consists of cheese and one topping. How can this be the exact same price as what they charge for a pizza with 5 toppings?! The pizza taste was just ok. Not bad, not great. The crust had a good flavor, but other than that there was nothing special about it. Overall, go elsewhere!

What?! Chicken Cream Cheese Pizza?! So good! And they have the cutest blonde waiter(Drew?). Do yourself a favor and give this place a chance. Also, it’s in a great location!

I haven’t eaten the food eat, but while I wait, I thought I would inform the public of what’s up. It’s a Sat afternoon, there is a huge convention going on next door and only 1 staff working the bar and serving. He’s nice and doing the best he can, but I’ve been here for over an hour and only ordered a pizza. I give 2 stars bc it’s not the bartenders fault. He did call someone in for backup, and she is also really nice. But the wait has been way too long. It’s busy, but not packed. We decided to cash out early and they mixed the bill up. Just frustrating. It’s not the service you want to have. The place seems like it has a lot of potential. I wish I could say my experience was better.

If I could, I would give this restaurant zero stars. The service was horrible. All of the orders my table received were delivered with something wrong. Our waitress was less than subpar and did nothing to help the cause of our orders being wrong. The food was overpriced and the pizza tasted like it came straight out of the freezer section of the grocery store. The only positive I have is the unexpected good flavor of the mild wings which was unexpected from the strange color upon delivery. Although the flavor was good, we received less wings than ordered. After counting the wings and asking our waitress if there was a mistake, she informed us «they are cooking and on their way out soon»… 20 minutes later we received our wings. She then had to check back in with us to see how many wings our original plate had. I would never recommend this place to a local or a tourist because it is a poor representation of Omaha, Nebraska.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown. I got in really late and starving. I was looking for something quick and that was still open. Te front desk said to try this place for some pizza. Walked over(it’s super close!) and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! It blew my mind! I liked the laid back atmospheres I much we stayed for some nice ice cold beers! Great quick service!

The workers here are pretty ridiculous; all texting, just watching tv, and not paying attention to the customers. The pizza is decent, I usually get the twice baked pizza… it does taste good but it’s literally different every time I come here. It’s convenient when I’m downtown and always has open tables, the only real reasons I’m a repeat customer.

My night visiting this establishment for take out pizza to feed my 3 children and wife ruined a nice stay in Omaha Nebraska! The night before we went to M’s pub and it was excellent, The next day we went to the zoo and it was amazing!!! The market part of town is beautiful. It’s such a shame our stay ended in a shit pizza and a frozen salad I threw in the trash in the car park of our hotel just after paying for it! I thought I should warn anyone thinking about eating anything from this place not to.

Pizza is below average — about like the pies you can carry out at Hy-Vee. Way over-priced. The wait staff assigned to our table was either hungover or would have rather been starting her hair on fire elsewhere. We shall not return. The only reason it’s not 1 star is because I’ve experienced some pizza that Old Yeller wouldn’t eat.

Second time around I was VERY disappointed to hear that they were ONLY serving mediocre beer such as Bud Light and Corona, and that I couldn’t get an IPA, because of the college basketball tournament — which I was not there to see. Still love their food but that was a major let down.

Overpriced for what you get. I had the chicken cream cheese, it was just ok. It would have been better with fresh jalapeños instead of from a jar and more of them.

NCAA Basketball Tournament time, questioning if the place was open or not walking up to it. Sat at the bar, told the bartender they needed to set some tables up on the patio so people know they are open. Her reply well we don’t have the wait staff for that. Ordered a pizza no black olives. Guess what it had in it when it came out? A bartend came up and asked how was the pizza is I was like ehhh, and she walked away. Had to ask for beers. All in all really bad service. Really unprepared for a big national NCAA Tournament in Town. Very disappointing. Not like you didn’t have a warning this was coming to town.

I would definitely say Goodnights is a solid 3 star experience. But that’s really about it. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. It’s in a great location, right down the street from my apartment… But really NoDo needs more businesses and shops to make it boom like it wants to. If you’re downtown for an event anywhere it’s in the perfect spot. Great patio and outdoor seating, and a nice view. I do like their choices of pizza here, they’re very unique. We got a chicken pesto and meatball pizza. I also ordered the Sam Adams seasonal they had on tap, one of the very few taps they have here… Increase the beer selection and I might be here more often. Chicken pesto was good, not great. I’m not a big fan of their crust for some reason, it tastes like it’s inflated… That’s all I can describe it as. Meatball pizza was good but some slices had very litte sauce and others were drenched in it. They both tasted good however. Our server looked like she would rather die than keep working here. The other waitrses looked friendly though. And by no means do I mean we got bad service, she just didn’t look like she wanted to be there. I’d come back to try more things when it’s nice out.

This is my go-to for pre-event dining when I have tix to an event at the Centurylink. They have inventive toppings, and their signature crust is divine! I mean, cream cheese on a pizza, could it get any better than that? When there are events at the Centurylink. they will not make individual slices, but if you can agree with your dining companions, it is more economical to order a whole pizza. I have also ordered their salads, both as sides and main entrees. They are fresh and full of veggies.

Goodnights has a lot to offer. From great beer(Stone, Rogue, et al.) on tap to great pizza. the crust DOES have a char which I like. It is kind of a brick fired taste. I love the Wild Mushroom and also the Walnut Apple. These stand out amongst the other offerings in Omaha. The Wild Mushroom offers a distinct variety of great mushrooms. Portobella, crimini, and my favorite shiitake. It makes for a great taste and texture. the Apple Walnut is by far my most favorite and I get it regardless if I am hungry or not. Toasted walnuts make a great flavor. the fresh apples add tartness and zest. Top that with truffle oil and arugula and it is basically an awesome salad pizza! The slice size is huge. Two slices is more than enough for most folks. If you are reading this and near here you should go here

The staff is cool and the beer is cold. I gave it a low rating because the cook. He keeps coming out to the bar area to watch the game and he is GROSS! He looks like it has been several days since his last shower. Dough is caked on his hands so he obviously washes them often… Seriously. Was going to eat but can’t now. Guess we’ll just drink.

Decent spot for week day work lunch, as they have decently priced single slice specials. Service is always good, frienfly and attentive. A bonus for lunch time, there’s never been a crowd when I’ve gone, so service has been prompt. Not the best, but def not the worst.

I visited Goodnights over lunch hour last week and was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the food. I had heard mixed reviews, so when a coworker suggested we go there for lunch, I shrugged my shoulders and said, «why not?». During lunch(I’m assuming M-F only), they offer three lunch specials — 1) pizza and pop 2) pizza and salad and 3) two pieces of pizza. Or something like that. I got the pizza and salad and it was supes yummy. I ordered a side salad and it was a typical side salad — nothing special. For pizza, I went with the Pesto Chicken pizza and oh my, was this delicious. It’s huge — one slice will definitely fill you up. It came loaded with cheese and chicken — I actually had to use my fork the entire time to eat it because the slice was too heavy to pick up. It was really dead over lunch — I think the place could comfortably fit 80 people and there were about 12 total. However, I think it’s really picks up around Jays games and CWS. Check it out!

Went on a Wed night. 1 guy at bar, 3 tables, 1 server/bartender. Pizza, wings, salad, and a full bar. I travel the US for work and I try to hit the one-of-a-kind pizza places wherever I go. I would say that Goodnights has decent pizza that is WAYOVERPRICED! $ 5.99 for a slice of pepperoni & sausage? I may let $ 5 a slice slide if the piece is 18 inches long like a giant NY slice. But this was a slice smaller than what you get at Dominos or Pizza Hut. Yes the pizza slice at goodnights tasted better than those places, but not 300% better. Menu looks like this: Salad $ 9.99 Wings $ 5.99 for 6 A DOLLAR A WING!?? Pizza slice/14″/18″ $ 5.99/$ 17.99/$ 25.99 Sorry Goodnights, as a frequent visitor of Omaha and the downtown area, I will stick with Sam & Louies.
