Had an americano and my boyfriend had an iced americano and they were very good. I don’t like a lot of cream and I told her just«a touch of cream» and she got it perfect. We did not go inside, went through their drive thru, which is easy and convenient to navigate.

«I’ll have what she’s having.» Whatever they make these baristas drink in the morning I want on board. This is the happiest most cheerful bunch of coffee pushers I have ever encountered and I’ve been guzzling the black brew since I was off the formula. It may not be the best tasting coffee around but I am a loyal customer because of the service. To me, coffee is coffee and as long as it’s in liquid form you can bet that I’m down. In particular my last trip through the drive through was personally mortifying as I had forgotten my debit card. The nice young lady at the window was kind enough to just let me have my beverage anyway and not make me feel like a hobo. Of course I went back the next day with cash and extra tip. I’ve been to other Scooters in town and I can’t imagine they would have been so forgiving. Like I said to me, it’s about the service, not the product.

It is now confirmed. Scooters has the worst oatmeal«to go» on the planet. I don’t know how you can mess up mixing plain pre-packaged oats with hot water, but they have managed to do it. The portion is tiny considering the amount of sugar/carbs and the water was not hot. HINT: YOUNEEDHOTWATERTOMAKEINSTANTOATMEAL. Their scones are also extremely sugary and dry(cranberry/lemon tastes like fruit loops). Anyway– this just proves that you can’t try to eat something healthy for breakfast here. Stick to the coffee/espresso drinks and you should be fine.

Every time I’ve been to this Scooters I was disappointed with the brewed coffee. Too watery, too plain, too yucky. Staff have always been nice, but I’m just not the kind of person to tell someone nice that I can’t stand their coffee. The first time I ever went to a Scooters it was here, and I almost wrote it off forever. But there’s something strange going on because I feel a little differently about the 78th& Dodge location. So it’s either a matter of inconsistent branding standards or just coffee I don’t like. Either way, something’s off.
