What a cool and unique coffee shop right in the old market! The staff is super friendly and they have a ton of space so you can grab a latte, play some pool or find a quiet place in the corner to study. The barista told me they often have live music on weekends too.

Sozo is a unique place.
It’s a mixed use kind of space– part coffee shop, part casual community gathering space.
It took me a moment to wrap my mind around why it felt a little… strange… in the space. As it turns out, the space doubles for a church sometimes. There is music equipment around and lots of cozy couches. The best part is that they have quiet study rooms you can rent for a couple dollars an hour.
Certainly not the best coffee around, but the space is welcoming and gets the job done. The staff is friendly, and you can study comfortably here.
