I understand that I can sometimes be a bit nit picky about things at restaurants. But fast food I am much more lenient on because its fast food… of which Subway, I just love. I will not go back to this location. I’m a creature of habit for franchises in that I tend to visit the same location rather than all around town. I stopped at this one to get two sandwiches, one for me, one for my hun. I ordered the Spicy Italian footlong(I like to save half for later). The girl putting the sandwich together put in exactly 9 pieces of meat! That’s three per type of meat, for a footlong. That was my first irritation. After she toasted it, came the veggies. I asked for jalepenos, received about six. Asked for tomatoes, four small ones were added. Tomato, two inches of bread, tomato, two inches of bread, etc. So I asked for more tomatoes –to fill in the gaps essentially. She added two more. Really? As my frustration continues, mind you I’m trying my hardest to maintain civility in all this, its just a sandwich and I was kind of in a hurry. Back to the spinach, she adds, and I am not exaggerating on this, 8 leaves of spinach. So I ask for more, she grabs four more and spreads them out. So I again ask for more and she grabs four more leaves. Since when do we count spinach leaves? Oh I forgot to add, before she added the extra tomatoes, she stopped making the sandwich. She took her gloves off, went to the register, starting sorting money. Mind you, if I knew hpow to get a hold of a manager, which I have yet to be able to do, I would definately make a complaint. Bad service is one thing, but counting money in between making the same sandwich is rude, and could potentially be a health hazard… yes I would like a side of dirty money on my sandwich… yum!
