This supermarket has been one of my 5 or so staple markets to hit for years, with their discounted prices and good meat department(Their sausages are legendary) but they recently had a nice renovation, moving a few areas around, included a better ethnic Latino section, moved the deli meats next to the other meats… But… BUT… they now have fairly decent beer department. They now have Deschutes and Zipline, but also have a make your own six pack section. The first time there I easily found six I had not tried but were on my wish list. I went back today and saw maybe one or two, so if they are committed to this new addition, it will be interesting to see if they rotate/add new beers every once in a while, or if this was my first and last six pack from there. They do now have some craft beer singles on the other side of this bin, I am now very interested in seeing how they do here though…

Great produce department — huge selection, good quality and there is often something at a price lower than anywhere else — like blueberries or avocados. There have a frozen food section with bulk items in large quantity packages like you’d find at a membership warehouse store. Large bulk/bin selection of nuts, dried fruit and candies. No fresh seafood.

Some things are cheaper than places like Hyvee or Walmart, alot of things are not. I was told by a cashier that internet coupons are not acceptable, so CouponMom fans are out on this one. Their produce, bulk candy/nuts/beans/dried fruit/grain sections are very well organized, kept, and fresh! I absolutely love those sections. Their $ 1 section is also fairly decent. Mostly this store is a good store but I do not recommend getting beverages such as soda, milk, or juice because they are VERY over-priced.

This store usually has very good prices and their produce is top notch. They also have award-winning jerky and sausages, made in-store and quite reasonably priced. The store has a bakery, deli, flower shop and pharmacy. They have the absolute cheapest water bottle refills, only 8 cents per gallon! I can refill a 3 gallon plastic water bottle for my water cooler with great tasting, filtered water, for less than the cost of a typical single-serving water bottle. They also have a gas station out front that sells E85. The prices are on the low end compared to other stations, but if you spend a certain amount in the store, you get a discount coupon that can save up to 20 cents per gallon, making them one of the cheapest stations in town.
