The Marquee Lounge

I stopped in after dinner and this place is nice. It’s clean and the bartender, Riley is friendly. I drink Tito’s and water so you can very easily tell if my drink is made poorly. In this case, it was made perfectly. Their beer selection could use some work. However, a pleasant experience all around.

cocktail lounge it is! we really like this neighborhood bar, a little upscale-​people dress nice & the décor is contemporary-​altho they could use some differenct curtains! The drinks are always very good! I noticed early on they have nightly specials, a few sports TV’s & light music playing in the background. The place is pretty dead until after 11p.m. & then the music gets loud & people are dancing! It’s a small dance floor, but it serves it’s purpose! We really enjoy the table bottle service! The owner Cory is always available to talk with & very friendly. I highly recommend this bar for any social gathering.

Sweet cozy place with some pretty consistent, strong drinks. $ 1 beers on Friday and Saturday night till 10… can’t beat that shit on the patio. Add in a few cute girls and a good sound system/​neon lights and I found my starter bar for the weekend.

This place is the literal worst. It has no saving grace. Awful crowd, not much atmosphere, mediocre service, nothing special about their drinks, it’s in a strip… it’s close to where I live but I will go ANYWHERE else.

I’ve had better… that’s what she said. Seriously why open a bar like this in the location it is in. Just a mixture of diarrhea and incompetence. Normally I wouldnt be so rude about a concept but when I order 4 absolut shots I expect absolut poured from the absolute bottle. Clearly they are pouring something lower shelf in an old absolut bottle.

We stopped in to see what the lounge scene was like and I can say I wasn’t that impressed. It’s fairly small but the music they had was pretty decent. However the dance floor is very small and I don’t think I saw anyone dancing. They have some nice setting areas but forget going there to have a drink and chat because the music is too loud for that.

Not a lot of positive to say; a weird club scene vibe in a neighborhood bar, made for a weird mood. There is a $ 10 minimum they told me about after I got my first drink, which was annoying, but whatever. So I ordered a rum and coke, and got a giant glass of vodka with a small shot of cola in it. So, you know, not rum. Barely coke. Poor service, weird vibe. Plenty of other neighborhood bars around, let this one go.

This is a pretty average neighborhood bar that’s trying to be more than just that. While driving by, you can see that the lights continually change inside the bar. Once you get inside, it’s not nearly as cool. It isn’t bad but it seems a little gimmicky. The place also had some kind of construction going on. They had one of the walls plastered, the bathroom was covered in a dust like they were sanding. Plus somebody was vacuuming. This was at 6 PM. The bartender, however, was pleasant and made some pretty solid martinis. The draft beer selection leaves a lot to be desired but had a few solid options. I suppose this will be a decent place for a drink once the remodel is done but it’s nothing special.
