The Mill Bar And Grill

I love the atmosphere, the food especially the wings and I am always impressed with how friendly and accommodating the staff is. It’s a great happy hour place for friends to meet – very open and always clean. I highly recommend giving the Mill a try for your next friend gathering,

Well my first review detailing my horrific, nightmarish experience was filtered out and isn’t being factored in. I assume they paid Unilocal to remove it. So honest.
Bottom line: Don’t go here if you like food and/​or service.

Nice place to hang out with some friends. large bar with a good election of liquors and a decent selection of beers. Have a few good beers on tap, as well the domestics. Typical crowd from out in Millard but still pretty cool. Their wings are actually some of the best I have ever had. Get them charred. No other way. Karaeoke night and they have a juke box, I’d come hang out here again.

I went in on a Sunday, the bar has a great new look (since it was Addys). We had burgers that were descent, nothing special. But I felt that it was reasonably priced.

New bar and grill in Millard. Been there 3 times.
1. Had a good fish and chips offerng and numerous PBR 16oz cans… cold!
2. Sat at the bar. nobody asked what I wanted to eat or drink. Just basically ignored me. They weren’t busy — middle of
after 10 minutes I said enough … got up and went to Addy’s Sports Bar.
3. This visit I took my cheeseburger expert son in to have a burger. Wasn’t bad. was pretty average. Fries though were cold and hard. Yuck!
My personal opinion is I won’t be visiting any more.

My burger was great. I asked for cheese, but they forgot it. That’s too bad, because everything else about the meal was great. Maybe they just feel that a true burger doesn’t need cheese and ketchup to mask the meat. I got the ½ pound. I wasn’t too hungry, but I had to keep eating because it was so good! And the homemade Parmesan chips were incredible. My dinner mates got the prime burger and weren’t too thrilled with it. Said it was just okay. I really like the atmosphere. Kind of a small place inside, but lots of flat screen TVs. And fairly elegant décor. I was impressed. I’d go back. It’s a great burger joint. But if you’re looking for some healthy options, you probably won’t find them on this menu.

Some of the food is pretty good at this bar and grill in Omaha, the problem is the service and speed. Last Friday they were in the paper and we unknowingly went there for dinner because it’s quite close to our house. Well of course they were packed and the management really failed the restaurant, owners, staff and most important to keep you in business the customers. There were maybe two waiters who were completely overwhelmed. We didn’t get our food for over an hour and a half and the waitress never came back to even update us. I’m sure she was getting bad vibes from every table, but come on! When we asked what would be done she said we’d have to talk to the manager, but he was in the kitchen… um ok. I will seriously rethink ever coming back even though the food was okay.
I agree with another review on here and get some music going, it’s awkward with just tvs on and little, or no sound. Plus the juke box is ridic. overpriced $ 1 to play one song, which you can’t even hear.
Food that we enjoyed — hamburgers and prime rib sandwiches
Food that was meh — pretzel — clearly bought out of a frozen food department and kid cheese pizza same thing, quesadilla super greasy

This place looked awesome when we walked in. Nice setup, clean, and a big beer list on the table. But then I went through about 6 or 7 beers on the list before I got to one that they actually had. We had the wings to start and they were probably the highlight of the meal. Pretty good. I just got a burger to keep it simple and it was just average. The waitress really struggled, but she meant well and was trying hard. I don’t think she had any support or training. She was doing everything. Lack of management. I’d come back for a couple of beers while I watched a game, but I’ll pass on another meal.

Great atmosphere, clean, sharp, not over stuffy, not divey. The only thing I can’t understand is why they insist on playing CNN all day everyday regardless of the time of day. I’ve been here three separate times at different times each day and its CNN all day everyday. Seems like a great atmosphere for sports or jukebox but that’s just me.
