Time out foods has the most AMAZING chicken! Its tender, and juicy. The crinkle fries are wonderful also!

There simply is nowhere else in Omaha that makes fried chicken this good and fresh this fast. Plus, three cheers for regular sized chicken wings which would probably be considered«jumbo» anywhere else. Their wing & fry combos remind me of east coast carry out plates(minus the mumbo sauce of course!) with fair prices to match. Crinkle cut fries, a basic roll, a taste of coleslaw(which I skip) all washed down with a strawberry Fanta. Always hits the spot when I let myself have it.

Best fried chicken in Omaha! French fries and burgers are also awesome. Reasonably priced. It doesn’t look like much, but the food is fantastic!

Nasty, grocery store quality chicken. Cold, greasy and flavorless. Coleslaw that should be a crime. Not worth the trip to the neighborhood or the bathroom multiple times after eating here.

The fried chicken here was probably the best I had in Nebraska. It didn’t taste like it was factory made, mainly since it’s family owned and operated. The place was in what some people in Nebraska would call sketchy, but that’s usually where you find your best food. The chicken was very juicy and tender. It wasn’t covered in too much breading and not very greasy either. The fries seemed mass produced buy I didn’t go there for fries. The staff was nice and the place was clean and friendly

It’s a hood classic lol! So Don’t be too scared or thrown off by the neighborhood. Just lock your doors or something. Customer service is a… you never know till you pull up. The line is ALWAYS long. But the Chicken is fresh. They’ll even throw in a few extra if you catch them at the right time. Big Bob burgers have always been good. The sauce they use on them, yum. I also like the apple turnovers. As for the sides. Honestly can’t say I’m the biggest fan, but the coleslaw is good. So time out, for me will always be in my choices for places to eat. When I’m craving a good burger or chicken.

This is the best chicken in town! I just wish they had better fries to go with the chicken though. The wait is a little slow in the drive thru, but the food makes up for it.

The food is of course amazing but the SERVICE is AWFUL. they always have attitudes, rude, and act like they don’t want to help me. I asked for hot sauce and it gets thrown at me. Like wtf?! They need to get it together.

Soooooo, I finally made to this place that I’ve heard so much about. I ordered some wings some baked beans and some dirty rice. I have to be honest everything tastes good except the chicken has absolutely no seasoning and then it really blew my mind when I look past the cashier and noticed racks and racks and racks of fried chicken already cooked sitting under a heat lamp. I guess it just let me know how fresh my chicken was not going to be. All I can say is thank God for hot sauce! My french fries were also turning white at the ends I don’t know what that necessarily means but I asked for another order. Overall it was a great experience. The customer service was great I feel like part of the community everyone knows everyone and I have never seen so many customers in and out of one establishment in a short amount of time in my life.

The chicken is what people talk about from this place. I got the 2 piece white meat combo meal. Combo comes with drink, fries, slaw and roll. The chicken was well seasoned and the skin was crispy and delicious. I found the meat to be just a bit dry, but overall the chicken was good. Sides were also good. Fries are crinkle cut with a touch of seasoning; they were good. Ask for hot sauce to dip your chicken and/or the fries. Also tried the cherry turnover, okay taste, just a tad bit greasy. Prices are reasonable. Not much room inside to sit, only counted four booths. Also has a drive thru.

Best fried chicken in the city hands down. The breading is awesome, spiced slightly but not too much to over power the chicken. The chicken meat is moist and perfectly cooked. I try to make a stop up here as often as I can.

After driving by dozens of times and reading the good reviews on Unilocal,I thought I’d give it a try. While there were only two cars ahead of us in the drive through, it took about 10 minutes to place our order. Place is a little dilapidated but I didn’t come here for decorating tips. I must admit I was a little disappointed in the Chicken. It was really dry and there was probably more breading on it than chicken. What the chicken lacked, the sides almost made up for. The dirty rice was delicious and a little spicy. It was so good, I would consider making the trip for the dirty rice alone. The baked beans were perfect. I think I found a few chunks of pineapple in it. All in all it wasn’t too bad. I may try them again sometime.

Cole slaw is mediocre. Chicken is pretty good. Customer service is somewhat lacking. I’m thinking of finding somewhere else to get chicken. Good fried chicken plus good customer service, I’ll be there.

The food is fresh… USUALLY… understand that I said usually– there are times that they are not fresh. They are super stingy with their hot sauce! And sometimes have an attitude when you ask for some. Workers get REALLY upset if you don’t specify if you want to eat in or take out… I guess they don’t want to waste a bag on someone who is going to eat in. Understandable but they need to NOT have an attitude about it. The black lady with the gray hair acts as if she is miserable with her existence and«ticked» that she is working there. Just because a restaurant is in «the hood» doesn’t mean that customer service needs to be degraded! Customer service in any location needs to be excellent… I guess they might feel like their chicken is just that great that they can treat people in way. The Caucasian woman at the window is very nice and professional. If I continue to get poor customer service… I will not be back… and I’ll just make my own fried chicken… which is a lot better anyways ;). What makes Time Out so good is there batter is fried hard… but the DONOT have any seasoning in their batter!

I was in Omaha for 10 days and was getting my car washed down the street and had driven past Time Out’s sign proclaiming FRIEDCHICKEN. So, I asked Jimmy the car wash guy and he endorsed it and so I gave it a try. Don’t tell the wife but I had my first fried chicken in ages and it was pretty damn good. I was there on a Sunday and all the church folk were coming in dressed to the nines and so I didn’t have to ask what to get. I got the 3 pc combo which includes cole slaw, crinkle-cut fries, a roll and I got a small potato salad and beans because you just have to do that sometimes. I got the diet pop to offset the meal. Hot, fresh, chicken and fries served in a cute box. I expected the chicken to have a bit more kick but was glad it didn’t. It was just right, papa bear proclaims. I like the sweet slaw and the beans were yummy too with 3 kinds of beans. Roll, feed the wandering cat or birds. the potato salad was not homemade so disappointed with that. All in all, a steal for about $ 7. I’d return again not only for the food but for the friendly girl serving me at the counter who wasn’t afraid to make friendly and humorous conversation. They also offer cheap $ 1.35 burgers so it must be very basic.

Had the 3-pc combo. My only complaint is that I didn’t have more — and that’s not because the portions aren’t generous. This is fried chicken done right, and without question the best I’ve had in the metro area. I’d say more but this is the kinda meal that requires a nap afterward. Go there now and eat a food. You won’t be disappointed.

We love Time Out at our house! Dang good chicken, 2 piece and a roll is where it’s at. Do yourself a favor and get a turnover when you order. Good price, good chicken.

I wouldn’t call myself a friend chicken connoisseur around Omaha, because the only other place I have a vague recollection of is the surf-side from years back… Anyway, here it goes… Since one of my co-workers raves about this place(using adjectives like«the golden crunch» and«Fruitful Nectar») I was super excited to give it a try and went with the standard. 2 pieces of chicken, fries and a Coke. I have to say he’s(and everyone else in town who knows fried chicken) definitely onto something here… it was fantastic. My only regret is that I didn’t get to dig in when it was freshly cooked and had to reheat mine in the microwave, which I’m sure took away from some of the crispiness. Even with the microwaving action, the chicken was STILL the crispiest and most flavorful fried chicken I’ve had in recent memory.
