Very impressed. Drinks better than the Berry and the Rye, though owned by same people.

This place is awesome. They only let 35 people in at a time, which is exactly how many seats they have inside. My party of two waited about 30 – 40 minutes behind two different groups of 4, at about 11pm on a Saturday. They cashier inside the liquor store had Mezcal and some other kind of tequila shots(2 for $ 4.00) while we waited. My drink was $ 13, but I didn’t mind paying it at all because it was probably the best I’ve ever had(Planter’s Punch). My favorite detail about the drink was the steel straw and the sugar cube they lit on fire. THEONLY thing I didn’t like was the super boring 80’s music they were playing. I have only been there once, so I can’t say this is the case everyday, but definitely a perfect place to go to get you warmed up for the night.

This place was perfect, fun, unique and followed the theme perfectly. Brooke was amazing and the drinks are spectacular. The place is very small, perfect for a couple wanting a unique spot to relax but not good for a group larger than 4. The drinks are pricy but they have quality liquors and mixers. Come here early

I really wanted to like this place because, secret door, speakeasy, and owned by the same people as berry and rye. Unfortunately, the execution was not nearly as good as the intent. The drinks are great and theres a nice ambiance, however the drinks will run you about $ 13 a cocktail. The biggest issue i have with this bar is that if someone in your group is late, even if you have space saved at your table for them, they absolutely will not let your other friends in to sit with you, and will make them wait for other patrons to leave before they will let them in, even though you have the space for them at your table. I REALLY wanted to like this place, but i will not be going back.

We checked this place out for an event a couple months back and were super impressed by the way it transports you into a whole new dimension literally as if you’ve fallen down the rabbit hole with Alice. It definitely has a really awesome vibe that drastically contrasts from the front shop you enter from. This was my first experience at a speak easy, and a pretty sweet one at that. If you say the word upon entering a seemingly normal shop downtown you are directed towards a libation that would surely give the Mad Hatter a mischievous grin. Pulling the lever opens the wall to the lounge where you are greeted by the bar and waitstaff decorated in black slightly gothic attire and makeup. Goth? Idk. Maybe vamp? Cool nonetheless. The atmosphere is ridiculously mystical with rich purple curtains, luscious gold fixtures all against black walls and backgrounds. The lighting is low and elusive and there are little intricate touches everywhere(don’t miss the bathrooms). The drinks are truly an artistic craft. No drink leaves the bar without some form of adornment. Whether it be a delicate edible flower, a citrus twist composition, or aflame, the drinks were downright the prettiest I have ever seen. I spoke to one of the gents mixing drinks and he was very well informed on gluten and alcohol safety for individuals with Celiac, so that was a sweet plus. My only non praising comment was that despite how gorgeous the drinks were, I didn’t really love any that I had and neither did the fiancé. They are pretty pricey beverages as well. However, the experience was bomb and I’d love to try it again to see if it was just what I ordered or if the bartender was a bit overwhelmed that night. Either way, don’t miss this place.

Forget falling down the rabbit hole, White Rabbit has a better way to get to Wonderland! If you know where to go, you’ll end up in a cozy little place where the drinks are strong and the taste devine. FINALLY, cocktail artists who know what they are doing! Expertly crafted prohibition cocktails(both pre and post) to whet your palate. For those of you looking to sit, catch up with friends and simply enjoy the night, come here. The staff are wonderful! For those of you looking for a secret gem, simply go through the looking glass.

Tucked away behind The Looking Glass off Harney Street, Wicked Rabbit is a fun place to grab a drink or two. The whole idea of entering through a secret door is right up my alley, but it looses its luster after two or three visits. They don’t take reservations and they don’t allow lot of people in at once. I came here on a Friday night and was told that for two people, the wait was 1.5 hours. My date and I said no problem, we’d put our name on the list and we’d come back, but were told we’d lose our spot in line if we left. There was no way we were going to stand in a small liquor store for 1.5 hours just to get in, so we left. Apparently other people felt differently though — there were 4 or 5 people standing and waiting to be let in. Once you DO finally get inside, it’s a pretty cool space. Dimly lit and hung with mirrors, it reminded me of something out of the 70’s. I’m also pretty sure the walls were lined with velvet. The drinks are fun and unique, but pricey. I think each one costs $ 13, so expect to shell out some money if you stay around for more than a couple of drinks. The drinks are pretty good though and fun to watch being made. The drink menu is a fun old book, and the bartenders take it pretty seriously. Definitely a fun place to start a night out!

I had great time here. Bartenders were so great and the drink I tried was the best I’ve ever tried in town. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended for nice cocktails and fun night.

Fun place to take out-of-towners every once in a while and worth a wait your first time, but once you’ve been, I can’t really decide if it’s worth going again if you can’t get it right away and have to wait. The drinks are expensive($ 13), so only plan on staying for one or maybe two. I’m not big on whiskey or bourbon, but my boyfriend is and he loved their Old Fashioned and Manhattan. They have some really expensive cherry you should try. I have had the Ramos Gin Fizz and Clover Cocktail(?) which are both pretty good, but very sweet. The Gin Fizz is like sherbet or ice cream. You can’t get a glass of wine, just a half a bottle at the very least. I’m glad it’s in Omaha, but this isn’t a place you go every weekend.

Fantastic concept for a bar. Let’s see… entering through a ‘secret passageway’ from another business-Check! Dimly lit 30’s speak easy vibe-Check! Intimate space with quality craft cocktails-Check! I have been excited to check this place out and it did not disappoint. The entrance is located in the ‘Looking Glass’ smoke shop and liquor store on the side of the Deco Hotel building. Once you enter through the secret door, you will find a small and inviting bar, seating maybe 40 people. Dimly lit with a vintage vibe, it sets the stage for their craft cocktails. I’ve sampled a few of them so far, and they are well worth the price in my opinion. Definitely a unique place in Omaha that is worth trying out.

I do like the Wicked Rabbit for a few reasons. The speakeasy concept is done better than most places I’ve been. If you truly knew that the Wicked Rabbit did not exist, you probably would not venture into the ‘legitimate’ business out front. It’s more appropriate for bums looking for some cheap booze and cigarettes. Another feature is the one way in, one way out. This adds to the ‘secretive’ nature of a speakeasy. Once inside the Rabbit, you notice the décor. It’s done well and exudes a luxurious feel. I don’t like spoilers so I will not describe it — you and your group should enjoy this pleasant surprise at least once. The drink menu showcases the bartenders’ craft skills. As I’ve stated in other reviews of great bars, order something adventuresome. Put the bartenders to work. They know their stuff. And finally a shout out to Anastasia.

Classic speakeasy. You enter through the small liquor store and let the attendant know you would like to visit the bar. If they aren’t full(only like 30 seats inside) they will buzz you through the wall. The menu is strong and the cocktails are creative. They have a large selection of spirits. I will say that the white lights over the purple curtains in the back were a little cheesy. The overall feel is art deco because of the hotel that contains this venue. I look forward to enjoying more creative and classic libations at Wicked.

This place is seriously cool. You enter from a hidden door in a business(connected to the Deco Hotel.) Super fun, trendy atmosphere and excellent list of craft cocktails. Service was excellent. I had the Manhatten which was served in what appeared to be an antique cocktail glass with an alcohol infused cherry. It was amazing. Others had different cocktails and no one was disappointed. Small and intimate place with limited seating but a cool place to start the night. I could certainly imagine that we were in a 20’s era speakeasy. We need more places like this!

The cocktails here are superb! The finest care and craft goes into making each drink here. Drinks are organized in the list via pre and post prohibition. The Décor, ambiance, and awesomeness of the speakeasy entrance makes it a perfect drink spot. Friday and Saturday nights there is going to be quite a wait to get in, but it is well worth it. Best Gin Fizz ever is right through the shelves. If you are looking for a fun, classy, hip place to grab a masterfully created cocktail this is your spot.

After reading several of the reviews, we decided to check this place out. We arrived about 7:15p & they were full. We checked out the bar inside the hotel next door for 45 min then went back to Wicked Rabbit. The vibe is very laid back & quaint. The staff wasn’t overly social, but still very kind. The place is definitely a «must experience».

Updated to grant that final star! The new menu is here and it’s beautiful! Another great cocktail bar for Omaha, lucky us! Wicked Rabbit is a sleek, sexy new speakeasy complete with secret entrance. The ambiance is definitely classy, but I get the feeling that it’s not intended to be stuffy at all. You can come have a good time here, without feeling the need to stay in your seat. It’s intimate as far as space goes– room for 40 or 50 maybe? There’s a different feel depending on the night, with Fridays and Saturdays being the most lively. It’s a beautiful space to look at(think black, gold, glass, and deep purple with soft lighting). I love it. I’m withholding my final star hoping the drink menu is expanded and gets more interesting in the coming new year. I imagine myself starting here with a French75 in a sparkly get-up for NYE’16!

After finally finding the venue in the blizzard(Deco hotel building– to the looking glass cigar and spirits; entrance on Harney across from the Orpheum for those who seek it), I answered the secret password and pulled the lever to pass through the«looking glass» and«down the rabbit hole» into the Wicked Rabbit via a secret door. We settled into the cozy and swanky lounge for craft cocktails including homemade mixers and clever twists on well loved favorites. This is not the place to take Smirnoff shots, grab a miller lite, or order a rum and coke– they just dont have these things here. Expect $ 13 craft drinks with a lot of personality, creativity, and love shaken within. My favorites on the menu thus far are the ramos gin fizz, bee’s knees, and blood and sand. Max capacity of this place has got to be 30 people or so, and Friday and Saturday are the busiest days. If they are full, they will not be able to let you in and you’ll stand in the crowded small space of the looking glass cigar and spirits(which does sell booze btw just as normal shop would) waiting to enter. Once I waited 30 mins for a party of two to sit at the bar at 9pm on a Friday for reference. Staff was helpful and friendly, and if you like Omaha’s Berry and Rye, or House of Loom, you’ll like this place! Ben is an awesome bartender and never fails as a mixology expert or chatty addition to your evening. If you’d like a chill evening of wonderful drinks, find some good company and head on over here for a delightful experience.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a secret hideaway to be enjoyed with fellow Unilocalers. Omaha has opened my spirits to a new world of flavorful whiskeys and cocktails. My favorite was the hidden door opened by a push of the Wicked Rabbit. On the outside it seems to be a liquor store but inside awaits a tiny room for a comfortable chat and warming libation. I had a Tequila I’d never tried before and a Sezerac that gave me a new liking to whiskey. Off to Wilson & Washburn for some food after.

Super cool place. Finding a sophisticated bar hidden behind a secret door is always a good time in my book. Wicked Rabbit is a perfect spot to go to when you’re downtown but want to avoid the crowds in the Old Market on a Saturday night. It’s dark, calm and comfortable here. The bartenders are top notch and are up to the challenge of making you that perfect cocktail. Wicked Rabbit shares owners with Berry & Rye and House of Loom, so expect the same great service you’ll find at both.
