Best Seahawks bar in Omaha! Wasn’t sure I would be welcomed and couldn’t have been further from the truth. The owner knows Russell Wilson, poured me a round of knob creek for every TD pass. I will be back!

This place has 8 Unilocal reviews but stays packed all the time. hah. It’s a supposed country bar but they play top 40 popular clubbing songs more than anything. It’s a fun place to end your drunken night and get basic drinks(nothing fancy here). For one of those wild nights out with your friends! Pretty divey. but in my opnion its not overrated and its not pretending to be something it’s not. Its a divey, country, simple drinks and loud music kind of place. It’s not pretentious. There will be a lot of sloppy people of all ages. And thats kind of awesome in the old market(ish) where all the bars try to out-trend each other. If you hate this scene there are so many other classier establishments that can fit your needs in the old market. If you feel like you want to be in college again this is the place!(if you’re in college well, haha its the place for you too).

Despite not being a fan of the nightclub scene, I actually enjoyed my time at Whiskey Tango. I originally planend on barhopping in the Old Market when my buddy informed me we were instead headed to Whiskey Tango. I thought, «What the hell», and decided to go join them. It’s in a neat location for one. An old building at 15th and Farnam, right in the heart of Downtown Omaha. The club itself is pretty neat. It’s a big, long, open room with several bars and coolers. They have one pool table in the corner with a fireplace and an automatic punching bag machine game thing? I sucked at it so i didn’t play it much… Towards the east side of the room is the main bar and the dance floor. They had several DJs and played a combination of hip-hop and country. It was mostly country… About half the people here were wearing boots and cowboy hats, the other half were obviously generic college kids. Yes the drinks are pretty expensive. You’re paying for the atmosphere of being in a club though. You’re paying for the DJs and music and lights and all that jazz. I pretty much only drink beer for the most part so $ 4 a pop was worth it to me I guess. I don’t plan on coming here all the time, but when I do it’s fine. I think a couple of my beers were actually $ 3.50 instead. I’ve heard they make weak drinks, I can’t vouch for that but I bet they do. All in all, fun place to come if you have the money to spend and people to be with. Fun to chat with strangers and get on the dance floor once in a while.

So, I decided to check this place out. I received good service, Music was cool(country and top 40 pop) and bathroom was clean. No smoking so I didnt smell like cigarette smoke when left. I paid $ 4 for a bud light. You decide if that’s expensive. Personally, since there’s no cover charge, I could afford it. Usually, I have pay at least $ 5 to get in. To me, I see it as a free beer. enjoyed the experience overall. Overcrowded, limited seating overwise 5 stars.

My experience here involved a mesh tank top. I said a mesh tank top. And I think it was reversible. I will either never return or go back every day because of this. Mesh Tank Top started fighting with Purple Polo Guy and suddenly Purple Polo was pushing me over so Normal Shirt Guy was like«Hey, HEY!» and Purple Polo Guy was like«Hey?! HEY?!» And then Normal Shirt Guy was like, «Dude, seriously. Watch out.» And then Purple Polo was like«Dude?! Seriously? Watch out?!» I’m thinking maybe he couldn’t form his own thoughts at the late, late hour of 8p on a Sunday. And then Mesh Tank Top was managing to get booty from this girl that was probably 12. Like, literallly probably 12. And literally grabbing handfuls of booty. But I don’t think she knew where her boyfriend was. Or who her boyfriend was. Or if she even had one.

I could not bring myself to write a bad review for this place even though I grew out of it the last couple of years. If you and your friends are ALREADY pre-gamed and ready to go, then make this a stop at the point in the night when your energy is highest. Drinks are expensive, but this can be a really fun if you’re already having a good night. Usually no cover. Note that you can’t bring drinks onto the dance floor.

What a horrible place. Wait staff are incredibly incompetent. Entire bar is sexist, which is completely reflected in what the waitresses BARELY wear. Don’t bother putting money in the jukebox. If the music isn’t country they won’t play it. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.

This is the one place I swear I will never go back too, but when ever were with a group of girls we seemed to get dragged here… Every time it seems like a great idea, till you walk inside… The walls are wet from all the humidity from the gyrating meat heads and girls a couple years past their prime. The music has ADD and keeps switching between Rap and Pop-Country, but no matter what the music is the circus on the floor is grinding… A little odd… And now we get to the worst part, the drinks. My scotch and waters always end up looking like water and tasting like it too. And for $ 6 a pop I’ll pass. Bottom line is I would never go here under my own power, but if I’m forced, why not?

This place gives me a headache half the time. Usually the half the night they play country. The other half is hip hop. Confusing mix, yet they have their patrons of cowboys and cowgirls that go. At least most nights there isnt cover… so they have that going for them I suppose. PS. you cant bring your drinks on the dance floor. Probably to keep someone from slipping during the ho-down.

I love everything about this bar except the tremendously over-priced drinks that lack what makes a drink(alcohol). Pros: –Popular on weekends. –No cover. –Great music(DJ on weekends). Cons: –Weakest drinks on Omaha. –Expensive. –Service is terrible.
