If I could give this store zero stars, I would. . Anything perishable is risky. I’ve brought home many dairy items that appear to be okay, not past their sell by, only to find them rotten. The last straw was a Ms Budd’s Chicken Pot Pie that had obviously been thawed incorrectly and a ton of raw chicken juices soaked the cardboard box. I didn’t dare eat it. It’s obvious that much of what is supposed to be stored at low, cool, temps is being left out at room temp, or, scarier yet, being put back on the shelves after being left out long periods of time. My advise is don’t risk it. These employees don’t give a damn.

I have always maintained that there is a major difference between urban Wal-Marts and rural Wal-Marts. In rural areas, Wal-Mart is the go-to place for groceries, electronics, toys, school supplies, hardware, and random miscellaneous stuff. This Wal-Mart can get busy, but it’s always orderly, with people well behaved, just going about their daily shopping. And yes, occasionally, you can get a cashier who may be crazy, but for the most part, the people here are nice and helpful, and shopping is a pleasant experience. Unlike some Wal-Marts, going to this one is not a dreaded experience! Whenever people look down on Wal-Mart, I just tell them to visit this one or one like it, and they’ll understand why Wal-Marts have become so dominant everywhere.

If you’ve been to the Wal-Mart in Union City, CA, you would walk into this Wal-Mart and kiss the sweet, shiny floor. Can two Wal-Marts really be that different? Yes. Yes they can, little one. This Wal-Mart is clean, well-organized, and has a great food section that Wal-Marts near me don’t have. It’s huge and lovely. And even though the people who shop there often seem to think that sweatpants are the new jeans, and that people who live in upstate New York should have a southern accent and they’re just the ones to start the trend, I still love this place. So be grateful, people! Be grateful! Do it!

An amazing and huge store full of just about everything! Food and drink of course(a gigantic choice); clothes(incredible, low prices but superb quality); everything for the home(kitchenware, bedding and towels, pictures to name but a few things); well-stocked garden centre; pharmacy, photo centre, toys, — well, I could be here all day adding to the list! If you’re in the area(as we were two or three times) it’s a great place to do some shopping!
