For the longest time I’ve driven by this place everyday and always wanted to try it, but never did. Today I was craving something fresh and different rather than boring old fast food and this place is exactly what I needed! I ordered the chicken kebab plate which included rice, salad, hummus and pita bread for dipping. Everything was super fresh and made to order. The chicken was perfectly seasoned(in my opinion) and was so juicy. If you don’t like waiting, you can call in your order before and just pick up. The space itself is pretty roomy with a good amount of tables. Staff is also very friendly! I will definitely be coming back here :)

The food at this place is absolutely amazing, I’ve tried many other Mediterranean food in the socal area and this is definitely amongst the top in terms of taste. Nothing beats their chicken schwarma sandwich and tabuleh. The service is not very good at this place and it’s the only reason I give it 4 stars, if you have the patience for bad service and AMAZING food then I highly recommend trying this place.

25 minutes before closing they tell me they are out of rice. I asked how long to get some rice and he informed me that it takes 20 minutes to cook. So seems he could have made the rice but preferred to turn down a new customer looking for 4 full meals. Poor service but food looked and smelled good.

The chicken kabob and Shawarma plate were what we ordered and it was really good, have to eat it with the garlic paste and hit sauce of course!

Unilocal 100 Challenge 2016, #10 of 100 This is one bookmark that I have been putting off for way too long. I usually do not make it north of Archibald and the 60 freeway. It’s almost feels like a food desert but there are a few places close by, an IHOP across the street next to a Shell and a Burger place across the other side. Pulled up on a Wednesday evening. I was not sure if I was entering the correct door. The restaurant does not look that inviting when you walk in; I’m comparing to Rumi’s, Pizzita Circle, and Mes Amis. I thought it was a fast food joint, similar to a run of the mill burger joint. The inside is very plain and non-aesthetically pleasing. The plates and cutlery are very plain as well. This is not the place for a romantic dinner. Inside didn’t bother me but just throwing it out there in case you are looking for that specific detail. Kitchen was right up front with a huge dining room next to it. Took a seat and there was one other family dining across the way. I noticed a few people doing take out. Menu is simple and gives you plenty of options. Check out the pictures I posted with the updated prices. Decided to go with the kebab dinner combo for 2 at $ 35. Wow! It was a lot of food. This could easily be shared by 3 – 4 people, depends on how hungry you are. Combo comes with 3 skewers, chicken, kafta, and beef on top of a huge plate of rice, pitas, hummus, and fattoush salad. Placed an order of the falafel appetizer as well for $ 6, it comes out with a salad. I probably should have ordered the falafels as a side because you can get them for $ 1 each and I did not need that much salad because we already had the fattoush salad with our dinner; it would have been nice if the waitress had made that recommendation but oh well. It was our first time, you live you learn, right? The food was great! I thought everything was great for the price. I would definitely return. Maybe do take out next time. It appears to me that they probably do a lot of take out and serve a lunch crowd because it was a ghost town at dinner. I did think the service was good as well. Our server was very kind. I hope you are able to try it out. Happy eating!

Had the chicken kabob plate and chicken shawarma sandwich… Always great! Sandwich could have had more garlic sauce. Kabob plate never disappoints and huge servings. This place is one of my favorites!

Same great food!!! Went with the family this time, my husband and I had the $ 20 each special, 6 Appetizers, 3 Kabobs, what a great value! My son had the Tri Tip Sandwich, he ate it all. We are definitely going back again soon.

Holy cow! This place is AWESOME!!! We came here because I didn’t get my Lebanese fix last time we were in Canada and I was missing it. Unilocal had great reviews, so let’s give it a try. The hummus appetizer is incredible. You can tell it is homemade with a family recipie. The pita is thin and soft. I had the kofta platter. He grinds his own beef! The fattoush salad is fresh and flavorful. Hubby ordered the shwarma platter which is a huge pile of food! The chicken is amazing… delicately spiced and quite addictive. Hubby also ordered the Arabic coffee. He is not a coffee connoisseur by any stretch, but… this is amazing coffee! Baklava is a cylindrical piece of crushed-pistachio sprinkled heaven. Chef/owner was also our waiter and he was justifiably proud of his food. We will so definitely be back! Bobtail parking only, BTW but SO worth it! What a find! Thanks Unilocal

I used to work close to Alina’s.(Like 2 minutes!) Been coming here since 2011. I found out about this place in 2011. I have to drive 45 minutes to get here now. I don’t 45 minutes for anything! Enough said.

Ive eaten here numerous times ever since I found this little gem my girlfriend and I have came often. Now the food is/was exquisite the meat is always tender and the salads always tasteful. They give you huge portions and its honestly enough for 2 meals in total. The pita is always warm and ready to be stuffed with beautiful Lebanese goodness. The restaurant however seems to stay dirty, rather it be the tile they use or lighting or its just dirty. The tables on frequent visits were sticky and had to be asked to be cleaned. Ive over looked it because the food was so good so the last 2 times ive placed a phone order and eaten it to go. Unfortunately, out of those last 2 times I got sick the first time(overlooked) then the second time my GF got sick. The only thing we had in common was alinas on those days. Now, my stomach couldn’t be referred to as weak b/c I go to mexico frequently and beautiful ceviche from STREETCARTS and ive never gotten sick(knock on wood). With that being said invest more in the cleanliness.

Extremely friendly staff and I love that it is family owned. Always feel welcome and appreciated for my business. The food is so yummy and keeps me coming back! Very fresh and flavorful. If you are not eating in, I recommend ordering over the phone to pick up. This place can get pretty busy at times. Great place to eat !:)

I got their chicken shawarma platter($ 10.99) which had rice, sliced chicken, hummus, fattoush salad, pita bread, and pickled turnips. Their garlic spread is tasty. They give a good amount of food. The place is large near alot of warehouses. They take card.

I’ve been here a few times, and each time I’ve gotten shwarma, the first time a plate and the second time just a wrap. The wrap was a bit on the small side, I have to say for a lunch, but it worked out perfect for what I needed that day. But very tasty. The plate was definitely a full lunch though. So keep that in mind. I think the chicken shwarma was better than the beef one in my opinion. I just felt that the chicken was much more flavorful. Overall the flavors are great, if you are looking for Mediterranean food this is a great place to stop by. It’s kinda on it’s own, off the beaten path, but it’s right next to the 60 freeway so it’s easy access in my opinion. There is plenty of parking.
