Actually this restaurant does not deserve any stars. I had the worst fish tacos, no flavor at all .I was over charged. I asked for a side of side of cream because it was so dry. The fish taste like old oil. the tacos had more lettuce and tomato then fish. I really will not return ever

First time at this location, by far the best Casa Jimenez I’ve been to! Outrageously good Carnitas, perfect beans and rice, excellent hot sauce with a kick. Check out the photo of the Carnitas plate!

My boyfriend and I eat here all the time. I always get the carne asada burrito. It is just the best! I always leave satisfied. Chips and salsa are great and they always refill our baskets(which is a lot because my boyfriend eats the chips nonstop until the food comes lol). I love the service! We always take our parents when they come in to town. It is always busy, but service is always fast no matter what. I’m pretty particular about my Mexican food, and casa Jimenez never lets me down!

Food is so good and the service is even better! Best chips and salsa and the prices are excellent! This is our favorite place to eat before seeing a movie… the Mountain Edwards Village 14 theater is right across the street.

Service is slllloooooooowwwwwww. Like, sloth-like speed. Once we finally got our food, it didn’t feel like it was worth the wait. The chile rellenos weren’t hot enough, my husband’s albondigas were very strange looking(I still can’t figure out if it was a potato or a chunk of cabbage…) and he didn’t care for the taste of them at all. The only thing that salvaged this entire visit was the kid who was busting his butt as the busser. Our chips kept getting filled, so that held us over while we waited for the server to actually take our order. Seriously, the busser earned this place the second star. If this rating reflected just him, he’d have 5 stars! Save yourself, make the drive out to better Casa Jimenez locations!

My girlfriend and I were craving menudo yesterday, so decided to pick up some from Casa Jimenez and give it a try. It was nice that they provided you with all the add on’s like onions, lemon, pepper, etc, but the menudo was not good! The look of the menudo looked like it wasnt cooked right. Sure enough, my girlfriend and I got food poisoning from eating it. My stomach is still hurting. Seems like its time for a new cook people! I don’t want to give up on this place as it is right by my house, but im a little cautious on going back.

Ran into this place after going to my barbershop in the same center. I had chorizo and eggs for breakfast, pretty basic dish and it was goo but service was stellar.

I have been going to this place for 4 years so far. My favorite plate is the Molcajete that they serve. The staff is really great specially Ivan. The food taste is awesome. It’s really difficult to explain taste in just few words it’s a special sensation from the mixture of spices and overwhelming smell and heat. I am really amazed with how good the Molcajete as a meal. the cost is extremely reasonable. The experience takes you to a different place or planet. If you like Authentic Mexican food, This is the perfect place.

These people are crazy saying this place is not good. I eat Mexican food everyday at home and this is just like home cooking. The taste of the food is terrific, the price is good and the servers are always so nice. So far I have had the machaca burrito(huge with a lot of meat), Carnitas burrito(carnitas nice and crisp on the edges and a lot of meat), and the huevos rancheros in the morning. The salsa has a great kick and I will definitely still keep going to this place.

Called in an order for menudo to pick up. Picked up my food, all the fixings were given with the menudo. Got home, fixed up my menudo and started eating. Menudo was very fatty kinda salty and wasn’t too flavorful. I was almost halfway through when I felt something dangling… it was a hair. Yuck! I immediately stopped eating and threw the rest away. With this experience, sorry to say, I won’t be going back.

Since this place moved from there old location it like a whole new restaurant it is a lot smaller inside and the quality of their food has gone down I ordered two burritos to go one chicken and one carnitas with everything and it was not the same as before they use to put rice beans and your choice of meat in the burrito with the onions and cilantro now they put a lot of beans and a little meat I got the carnitas and it was not good It had more chunks of fat than meat so it was like eating a bean burrito with no meat !! I guess Im going to have to find me a new place to get my burritos from

Sorry to those that have been giving this place great reviews; but, this Casa Jimenez is horrible. I’ve liked other locations, but this one has been disgusting. The old location was dirty and the food was pretty tastless with absolutely no kick. When they changed locations we decided to try it again… they really need to fire that cook. The food is so bland you might as well be eating baby food, and when your salsa has no flavor you have np business running a mexican restaurant! The only redeeming quality is that this place is cheep. If you’re really hungry, and don’t care about flavor(or maybe you like it bland), then this is the place for you. You can certainly fill up cheep; especially with the all you can eat deal.

Friday evening, the place is almost packed. Small place with their 9 four-seater tables, it feels like a Chipotle or another fast food restaurant I guess because I’m used to the big family sized booths they usually have at a Casa Jimenez or most Mexican restaurants. Anyway, service was good, food was delicious! No beer/alcohol yet cuz they just opened but they will soon.

The new location is smaller, than previous. But the food remains good, authentic Mexican. Not much on the menu that I don’t like. Prices are very reasonable and always great service. I would have rated it higher(but my only gripe is size of new place).

Friendly and attentive staff, food is yummy at a great price. The new location though is way too small, tables and seats are not as comfortable. Rather order to go.

Yum, we had dinner here tonight and it was delicious. I had the #44 Flautas dinner, my best friend had a Sope, and my boyfriend ordered a carne asada burrito(which was huge!). Everything was good and the portions are very decent. The staff is also very friendly. We definitely left feeling satisfied and will be returning.

Casa Jimenez has relocated to its new location on the southeast corner of mountain and the 10 fwy.(Near Starbucks.) The location is small, but intimate. This ensures that the servers are very attentive. I ordered the Taco & Enchilada plate. Quality of the food is high, and portions are healthy, though the meat in my taco was just a bit tough for my liking. Overall VERY tasty. I will absolutely be back.
