I tried this place on a whim because I was in the area and in the mood for some Teriyaki. I have to admit I first was a little skeptical when I walked in just because the inside of the restaurant is not that appealing in my opinion, but I was there for the food so that was my focus. I ordered the teriyaki chicken because the lady said it’s a popular dish, barbecue pork and some fried rice. Let me tell you, the food did not disappoint! The teriyaki chicken was so tender and the sauce was flavored just right. The barbecue pork had such a nice taste to the sauce, although a little bit on the fatty side but the meat was SO good. The fried rice tasted like fried rice. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s in the area and wants a quick bite to eat, I would definitely come back again and try some other things on the menu as well.

One of my favorite spots to get take out. The quality and quantity are both great. The employees and very nice and helpful. My family and I have been buying from here for years!

I cannot even stress enough how much i LOVE this place! I have been coming here since i moved to Ontario 7 years ago. The food is always so fresh and they serve you huge portions. The oldest lady there is just so sweet, well they all are, but she always calls me honey or baby and asks how my family and I are doing, she is so cute! Lol i come here very often and have never been disappointed. No other chinese food place has my heart except this one.

I used to be a long time customer, but I just couldn’t eat the pork and noodles anymore. The cooks drown the pork meat into BBQ sauce that is very sweet, but then it makes it inedible. Noodles are too salty for me. I wished they changed up their menu in order to keep customers interested otherwise they are just going somewhere else.

.., I’ve spent a number of years in this area growing up, so Chicken Bowl Express is definitely a comfort spot on my map. I’ve been to better Chinese take-outs, because there will always be one which was better than the last. But I dig this place, even more so when it comes to their chicken wings!!! Chicken Bowl Express’ chicken wings are a must eat! I would always get them to accompany whatever combo I chose that visit, but it never dawned on me to order a whole batch until my birthday last year. For a handsome tray of chicken wings, chow mein, orange chicken, & fried rice I paid around $ 75 – 80 give or take(can’t recall). It fed my 6 guests perfectly with leftovers to spare. Those wings were devoured though, I just wished I stashed some for myself but they were talked about around the dinner table numerous times. As for the rest of their menu, I haven’t really dived in to deep yet but I have stuck with the basics(Teriyaki chicken, Orange chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Kung Pow, fried rice, & chow mein) & all are pretty decent. Portions are very friendly & they usually give you a free egg roll to accompany your meal. Warm staff always willing to serve you their food & Thai Iced Teas served here as well! Give this place a shot, & if anything grab some wings! Great trays for hosting the next sports game at your place!

We went here for some quick takeout and wanted to try something different from our usual spot. The older gentleman and women who helped us were very welcoming, friendly, and were suggestive when we were undecided on a few choices. Some of the food was near flavorless tho the textures seem to be on point. Quite honestly this place is alright. LA Express across the street is so much better, but a little pricier. Would I come back, unfortunately not.

Love this place. I have been coming to this spot ever since I moved to Ontario which was about 3 almost 4 years ago. I’ve tried a few other Chinese food spots around the area but none of them compare to this place. They give pretty big portions for a great price. The only downside is you can only pay in cash so every time I plan on coming here I remember to take some cash out. Service has always been great. The asian lady who works here is always super super friendly and nice to me. I highly recommend this place!

Good food, great value. They over load the plate for a nominal price. I recommend this place for good quality take out. I am not too impressed with the custom menu but the hot tray regular food is hot and fresh.

Worst eating experience EVER!!! Have been going to this place for over 11 years. Usually good fare at a decent price. Got the two item combo with potato chicken and egg rolls and thought I would try the Garlic Shrimp as well. What was brought home was, to say the least, sub-standard. The potato chicken was potato only. Very smarmy and congealed, even warm. The garlic chicken(pint sized) was full of mostly cut up onion, with SOME carrots and bell pepper. Shrimp actually in the Garlic Shrimp: 7 tiny ones. Pitiful. The rice in the combo was dry and tasteless. Altogether a rip off. We called and complained and were told, «Gee, there were at least(18) shrimp in the garlic shrimp. We counted.» REALLY!!! really… This place has lost a long time customer. Never again.

Really good for chinese fast food. Huge portions, I got the two item combo and didn’t even come close to finishing it, and I’m a big eater. I had teriyaki chicken, orange chicken with chow mein and white rice it was good and fresh, what more could you ask for. I would definitely come back here. Overall… the service was good, the price was good, the selection was good, it was a clean environment, and most importantly the food was good.

So on the long journey back from Vegas to the OC, I took the 60 and got off some random exit to end up here. On the GPS it just had a bunch of forks and spoons, so I suppose food would be near by. There was Del Taco and Little Ceasars, but this seemed to be the best option. I ordered a 3 item combo which gave 2 people plenty of left overs. Their Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Pork and Spicy Orange Chicken were tasty and you couldn’t tell that this was a mom and pop Chinese place. I was expecting teriyaki bowls, but this is actually a Chinese fast food restaurant. Good food for a great price! I just might stop by here again next time.
