Love the crispy tacos. Ya they’re just deep fried shredded beef but better than any taco bell/del taco BS. Haven’t tried much else but one day I will.

Great food for decent prices! Makes custom orders! Great customer service! The restaurant could use a little maintenance and deep cleaning but does not take away from the experience.

Love this place. Their food is excellent. Service is good and very friendly. The owner goes out of his way to make you happy and even sometimes it makes us also I like when he doesn’t have it out. My only complaint is that he doesn’t have the avocado salsa out 90% of the time. Other than that I’m very happy with this place and continually and repeatedly go back.

I love this place, their burritos are the . Their beans, rice, tortillas and meat are homemade, the flavor says it all. I am Mexican, and my mom’s food is hard to beat so I am not usually impressed with Mexican restaurant food, but this place always leaves me wanting more. When I come here I struggle deciding between a carne asada burrito or a bean and cheese burrito, this is how delicious their beans are. If you are looking for authentic, this is the spot. The only thing I wish they would work on is their closing hours, especially on the weekends. This would take them to the next level. It would have people like. .. King Taco who?

Favorite taco place. They do change who cooks the food at times and they will taste diff that’s the only bad part once was too salty but I don’t think that person works there anymore. There’s an older man that makes the food delicious the owner a sweetheart. The asada burrito is good and tacos.

When I first moved to Upland, this was my go to place for Mexican food. I fell in love with their asada tacos instantly. Now that I’m back in town, I decided to stop buy for some great food. I ordered 8 asada tacos and a large jamaica. The tacos were just ok. Didn’t seem to have much flavor. As for the jamaica, it was HORRIBLE! I had to double check my drink to make sure it was what I ordered. It taste like I was drinking syrup and ice. Their salsa bar wasn’t much of a bar. They only had a red and green sauce, limes, onions and cilantro. Plenty of bags out but only 3 cups with 2 tops for salsa.

Best Tacos Al Pastor in town! Super savory. The Asada is really good if you are lucky to get it fresh otherwise it can be dry cause they chop it so fine it dries out quick. Tortas are ok. I once got a «soggy» torta cause they added so much beans. Taquitos plate is really good, too. The service is always great! And the prices are good. But sucks to have so many Bums outside cause if 7⁄11.

Stopped in on a Thursday evening around 5:30. A gentleman stood talking to the sole employee behind the counter, and left as I approached. Otherwise, the place was empty. A TV on the wall played noticias. I ordered an assortment of tacos – asada, pastor, pollo, carnitas. The cook-top was clean and the kitchen idle. The tacos were ready pretty quickly, so I’m pretty sure there was no actual cooking, just reheating. The chicken and asada cut to a tiny dice, so the fact they were a bit dry not so noticeable. Still tasty. One of my carnitas tacos included some shreds that were very dry – nearly jerky status. The pastor was pretty good, a bit sweet. All in all, a fairly satisfying bunch of tacos. I’ll bet they taste much better when the griddle is hopping and the meat is freshly cooked. For 1.45 each, they could also be stuffed a bit more generously with meat. The gentleman was friendly and the rest of the menu looked to have some promising items.

Growing up this was the spot to go to and it still is. Food is made with great quality and the workers are just amazing. I’d recommend it to everyone. They have a large variety of dishes to choose from. My favorite being the carne asada burrito and carne asada torta! Go in and enjoy the food, you won’t regret it!

The place is pretty ghetto(bums/crack heads outside a lot) but the«Al Pastor» is the best! Red salsa is ok. The green/avocado salsa is pretty good. Tried the«menudo» once. Not very Good :/super Red! Like Enchilada sauce.

So i was confused about the 5 stars… The food was not too good. The chicken is diced up so tiny that the pieces are hard and over cooked. Same for the asada. It did not taste very good. Didnt make me sick but just was not good. We tried asada fries, burrito and chicken enchiladas as well as the pastor. None any good. It straight sucked bad.

Love this little place. The owner is such a nice lady and the food is delicious! I’ll always pick the Cotija over King Taco anyday!

This has become my «neighborhood» source for good Mexican food. Don’t know what they do, but the flavor is «just right» for me. Good price, with nice little bennies like getting chips or roasted onions… I sometimes stop there after jogging for those nights when it’s too hot to cook, or when I’m lazy.

I enjoy this place a little better then King Taco, which is a block or two away and still till this day the lines are ridiculous. As for Cotija, Service and quantity is great and the food is delicious. Also, there is a salsa bar so your are welcome to try all their salsa if you like unlike King Taco were you are limited to only a few small containers.
