So my daughter and I went to Church’s on Saturday. When I got home and opened the box, it was a piece of hair cooked into a piece of chicken. I called to speak to the manager and she wasn’t available so I spoke to the shift leader by the name of Carina. I explained to her what I had found in my chicken and she advised me to bring the chicken back. When I got there she had a VERYNASTYATTITUDE and asked me did I want my money back or a fresh batch. I told her that I would like another box and she explained that it was going to be 20 min. Me and my daughter waited for about 30 min and when it was done Carina just threw the chicken in the box and handed it to me with an attitude. I asked her for the Corporate Office number and she told me to look online. What more can you expect when you go to the GHETTO to buy food. I called the Corporate Office this morning and was speaking to a lady by the name of Ashley and when I started to explain to her what my experience was, she disconnected the call. I couldn’t believe the treatment I was receiving. NEVERAGAIN!!!

So today was the first time I’ve ever tried chicken from here, my fiancé and always shop at the cardenas that is in the same parking lot. And every time were leaving we would always say, mmmmmmm that chicken smells so good! But we never got some for whatever reason, anyways we decided to get some today. Omg !! The jalapeño chicken is so good!!! In my opinion it’s better than popeyes chicken… the macaroni and biscuits were also very good. The lady that took our order was nice, and the wait wasn’t long either. But we were the only ones in the drive thru.

The usual chicken meals and I like the okra, but kind of slow service for a fast food joint.

This is the slowest location & laziest employees working there… Take forever to order & forever to receive our food. Don’t know how their still in business…

Have been coming here for a while now. Usually the chicken is very good, however the service is up and down. Some times ok but just as many times, very slow. It is a hit or miss thing, but because of the great coupons they offer here, it is worth coming.

My brother just came home with 10 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, and DINNERROLLS. Those are not the same thing as biscuits!!! He asked why he didn’t get his biscuits and was told their oven was broken. They knew before his order that they didn’t have any biscuits at all and didn’t say anything! He wouldn’t have paid for a meal had he known. Very dishonest business practice.

This place is a joke. Seriously EVERYSINGLETIME I have been here something has been messed up– from«we are out of», wrong items in bag, forget to give me something(napkins, dipping sauce, biscuit, etc). A few times the employee taking order was not paying attention. I’m guessing the employees do not care about customer service and the manager does not care about the employees customer service. I love the chicken, but I’d rather go to Popeyes in Vineyard and get correct order and good customer service. Last night I wanted to use a coupon… By the speaker was a sign that their«credit card not working». Of course it wasn’t. Something ALWAYS has to be up with this place. So. I went to Popeyes. Lesson learned. Never again.

Drove through drive tru. ordered family meal with a side of «baked macaroni and cheese» she said it will take 7 more minutes is that okay?.. I’m thinking that looks so good its worth it. drove up to the window paid and she told me to wait on the side for a couple of minutes. ok understandable… she comes with my food and I ask do you have hot sauce and she says no. in my head im thinking. .how you not have any?.. so I told her I’ll drive around through drive tru again to get it and she answers ok. im like wow really lazy manager here. .this really makes me wanna come back and eat here. so finally i start eating and the delicious baked macaroni and cheese I waited forever for. turned out to be watered down mac n cheese. giving 1 star because I love the biscuits

This can be one of the better fried chicken chains however this location always seems to have its issues. Not in a very good neighborhood so that might be it but really not sure. Service is slow and generally get the feeling they are doing you a favor to serve you. The food can be good but have a tenancy to short change you on the selection. I really like the biscuits with the honey they put on top and the gravy for the mashed potatoes is good. The chicken flavor is a matter of opinion, but I like it sometimes.

Extremely bad customer service. Thursday’s this location has a special of 3 pieces of chicken for 1.49, so I knew it was going to be busy. I was prepared for a LITTLE wait. WRONG… I started off making the wrong decision and that was going inside. I looked around and i saw a total of 3 people working, 2 people in the front and 1 person in the back. The workers up front do not know how to multi-task. 1 person should have worked the window and 1 person should have focused on the customers inside. I was number 2 in line…10 minutes goes by and not even a «we will be right with you.» I waited more than 20MINUTES and not one person in the line(at least 10 people) got a sorry. the cherry on the sundae was when I ordered spicy chicken and got original and I told someone that they forgot my mashed potatoes and they had the nerve to tell me I DID’NTPAYFORIT! I said please look on my coupon and all they said was HAHA I GUESSYOUWERERIGHT… NOOOOOOO =O I only get 30 minutes for lunch so I didn’t even get 10 minutes to eat my food. Ridiculous… Never again…

Worst place you can ever go, terrible service. I had to repeat myself several times to the lady, she never got our order right. After literally waiting 20 mins for our food she didn’t give me the correct order, I had to wait another 20 mins. Mashed potatoes were runny, Mac n cheese was runny. My chicken sandwich fit in the palm of my two year old and my hot wings tasted as if they were sitting there for days. And the lady had the nerve to give me a «free» coke as if that was going to give me 40 mins of my time back.

This place never disappoints. I love the workers here. They try their best. People have to understand they’re only human. This place can gets kind of busy and I’ve seen my fair share of impatient hungry people. They usually run out of chicken fast, especially the spicy chicken. People get mad when they are told they have to wait a few minutes but I like the fact they don’t cook 400 pieces of chicken at once and just let it sit there. I prefer the lil wait for fresh chicken I know that hasn’t been sitting there for hours. If you’re in a rush, Popeye is down a few streets or KFC. There’s a reason why I’ve been going here for years and not anywhere else. Their chickens the best and the service is as good as you can ask for.

When we walked in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, there was a ton of chicken sitting under the heat lamps. This made us feel uneasy because when I looked at my boyfriend I could tell he was thinking the same thing: how long has that chicken been sitting there and how many bugs have landed on them? But we were hungry and it smelled good, so we ordered 10 pieces and mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. We took it to go and the chicken was delicious and still crunchy, even after we let it sit for awhile! We’re happy customers. The Mac and cheese was really good too, tastes kinda like krafts, but I love that stuff. Mashed potatoes were good too, even after they went cold.

Omg I forgot how badly church’s chicken suck. I haven’t frequented a Church’s chicken in years! My interest has been piqued in the last few months due to Kendrick Lamar’s good kid maad city album. My fiancé had never eaten there, so last week I decided to go. Upon arrival I was hit with some major disappointment. NODIRTYRICE???(aka Cajun rice). I was appalled! Back in the day that the only think I ordered. Anyway, I’m not sure if it’s only this location or company wide but I was a major disappointment. They had the best Cajun/dirty rice. So, being that I was stuck in the drive thru, I was forced to buy something. I ordered a two piece with a breast and thigh. The customer service was cool but the chicken and biscuit was dry and over cooked. Also, the chicken breast was super weak(small). For a moment I thought they mistakenly gave me two thighs. Hahaha smh. It tasted ok but I felt I can fry better chicken at home, or buy some at Albertsons/Ralph’s/Stater Bros. The mashed potatoes and gravy was cool and the prices are extremely reasonable. However, the cheap prices aren’t worth it. Take my advice, and spend the extra $ 1 or whatever at Popeyes chicken. It’s waaaaaaaaaay better than church’s. IMO, Popeyes makes the best fried chicken when it comes to corporate chains. It may or may not beat your local mom and pop shop, but it crushes KFC and Church’s. I will NEVEREEEEEVER come to church’s again. Especially because they don’t sell dirty rice anymore. Major fail!

DONOTEATHERE: May I first start by saying Church’s Chicken is the reason I switched to Unilocal from Google Places. Church’s wasn’t on Places and I had to give a review. This place is horrible! From start to finish, I have NEVER been so disappointed. Entering the parking lot was a challenge on its own and when I drove up to the drive-thru window, I waited for 3 mins before the employee(with her broken english) asked me what I wanted. I gave her my order, and repated it 3 times. I drove up to the window and she did not ask for my money right away but instead she let me sit there for 5 mins. She finally told me the amount and I gave her my card and she returned it, in a timely manner.(the only thing she did quick. Funny when it comes to money)! I waited at the Drive-Thru window for 15 mins! Mind you, I had work in 5 mins. I finally got my food and she almost forgot my drink. I sped to my work and was finally going to eat. In a hurry, I opend the food container and noticed that she didn’t give me a fork for my out-of-the freezer and poorly seasoned hot wings. Never going back.

When I am in town, this is the fried chicken place to go! I drool over the cripsy fried battered skin and over the juicy white meat. It’s salty and so satisfying! They use to have a cool deal of 10 pieces for $ 5 but I don’t know what their current specials are. The pieces are of good sizes, not puny like KFC. Their mash potatoes use to be amazing. It use to have bits of real meat in the gravy but they’ve gotten cheap and use generic brown gravy. The strawberry lemonade is not all that and the biscuits suck(small and hard). I prefer the ones from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

My mom and I went here to grab some to go fried chicken. We went around 10:45am 15minutes ’til opening time so we waited for a short time. The food is what I expected from a Church’s Fried Chicken: crispy, tasty, juicy and tender. The mushed potato was excellent. I really like the service here because they are fast and they are very friendly. I ordered an extra gravy for the chicken but I forgot my change in my car because I didn’t wanna use my card again coz they charge 70c for credit card, but the server just gave me the gravy for NOCHARGE… that was really nice of her. I will definitely go back!
