Del Taco

My kids and I love Del Taco – we have for years! We go nearly once a week. For three years in a row, at Christmas, I have bought $ 100 in Del Taco gift certs for our family.
Last year, they closed our Del Taco on Mountain, so we gravitated to the one on Euclid. At first, they wouldn’t take coupons. Then we talked to the manager, Cesar, and he said they would accept them. Problem solved – our love affair with Del Taco continued for weeks.
Two weeks ago, for my birthday, we decided to go to Del Taco. From the $ 100 gift cert deal, you get 8 Del Taco meals free but they have to be used by the end of February. So we ordered 2 meals and various other items totaling almost $ 25 before discount. But they would not honor any of our coupons – all of which were valid!
I asked to speak to Cesar but some woman came to the window that I was told was Cesar’s boss. She was rude and aggressive and told me they won’t be honoring any coupons because they are not a corporate store.
The Del Taco on Riverside and Benson was our next stop and they treated us with respect and gladly accepted our coupons without question. They can keep their food and their rancid attitude, we won’t EVER be back.

The workers here are always so nice and friendly. I’ve live near this area for 30 years and the same guy has been here since I can remember. So helpful and the quality of food is really great. This is my 2^nd favorite Del Taco… my number 1 is Barstow… but that’s just not fair… they have a taco named after themselves. This place has the best customer service… to experience it for yourself… walk inside and see for yourself. Very clean inside and they have Coke Zero. HAHA!

Everyone at drive thru does an amazing job always polite gentlemen quick and always making sure to give a 100% on customer service which def brings me to come back on my receipt the host says herminia and I just want to acknowledge him on such a good job

Awesome service! Guy at the drive through was so sweet, had an honest smile on his face and went over my order to make sure I had everything! Such a great unexpected experience. :)

I have been to nearly ever del taco in the so cal area and this is the best one besides the original Barstow del taco. The manager is a great manager and the staff is always overly friendly! If I am any where in the inland empire I try and go to this location for the service and good portion size! Too bad they all can’t be like this store!

Got home missing my quesadilla, the drive thru dude seemed high on coca leaves. I mean they charged me for food and didn’t give me the food what else is there to say.

What do I love about this Del Taco?
That it is right where it is. Twice recently I have had to commute from Costa Mesa to Ontario at the worst of times, and this primely, conveniently, and pleasantly placed location has saved my hungry butt.
One note: when I pulled up to the drive-​thru window, the gentleman asked me: «Has anyone ever joked with you and told you that your card got denied?» I said «No! That would be terrible.» He said, «I was thinking about doing that – hahaha!»
Why it’s on the taco list: The chicken soft taco – particularly the grilled chicken itself, was a cut above. It was grilled nicely with some browned edges whose crispy character and flavor played brilliantly with the special sauce. I was impressed, and I eat a lot of DT chicken soft tacos.

Great fast food. We got the Fiesta Pak which included 3 each-​crunchy tacos, soft tacos, green burritos, red burritos. They included a lot of hot and mild sauces. We got a large drink and all of this for under $ 13.00. Very friendly attendant at the window. Will return again.

Drive-​thru is always friendly, they charge an ATM fee (50 cents) if you don’t order over $ 10 bucks. They have messed up my order several times but it’s only because my kids are picky and order their food weird. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad area because I never see anyone loitering or pan handling here.

As far as fast food it concern, this Del Taco is actually really good when you need to get your grease on! Every food group is represented in the burritos… the bread group, the meat group, the bean group, and you get it! Good stuff, and the staff is friendly!

This is a very typical Del Taco. The orders are typically right, fast service, friendly service. They get one star less because of a cheap owner that accepts NO coupons what so ever.

This place has always served me well, even though I usually stick to the drive-​thru for safety. The area isn’t the best, but what can I say? The food isn’t bad and I’ve never had a problem with my order, so who can complain? Me. If I’m looking for a place to enjoy my food with the wife or some friends, I’m heading elsewhere.
