I had the carne asada burrito — . The meat was chopped small and I didn’t get any fatty bad pieces. Others at our table had the carne asada nachos, carnitas nachos, tripas burrito and chile rellano burrito. Everyone really liked the food! The chips for the nachos are fried on site fresh. They live up to the name el chilito. The salsa has bite and has flavor. We’ll be back! Enjoy. Sorry no pics the food is all gone.

I was really really hoping this was one of those amazing hole in the wall places, but unfortunately I was not impressed. My husband got a pastor burrito and I got enchiladas. The food wasn’t anything special at all. It wasn’t horrendously awful either and I may have actually returned since I live so close to this place, but then I found a weird bead in my food! So now I’m all grossed out and don’t think I can go back.

Small mom and pops restaurant. Good food but really bad service. I went in with my daughters first of all fell uncomfortable when as soon as I come in to order the cashier starts complaining and telling my kids to not touch the counter after we sit she proceeds to tell them not to touch the salt shaker which was in the center of table because you’ll break it she says as my 2 yr old gets up she is watching like a hawk and with bitchy face like lady she’s a kid if you don’t want kids in the restaurant please be free to note it in front door. I decide to get my food to go and go. Worst feeling ever to feel not wanted at a place were I am willing to spend $$.

Came in and ordered some tacos. My buddy ordered the huevos rancheros and was very satisfied with them. I ordered lengua, asada, cabeza and tripas. They were all great especially the asada. I like how the meat is diced up. Tripas was nice and crunchy. Very good. Will definitely come back.

Not the greatest place for Mexican food, but it’ll do. Not a very warm greeting from the owner, she seemed bothered that we were ordering food. I have been here several times and the customer service is better when her husband is working the cash register. I had a chile verde burrito but it was overpowered by all the raw onions they put on it. I think this place might have more business if the customer service improved and the customers were treated with some gratitude, after all if if was not for the customers, this business would fail miserably. But the worst part are the flies swarming around:(. I hate flies.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while so finally I gave it a try last night. I went with the idea of ordering some tacos. I notice they have a huge selection on their menu so I ordered a torta ahogada but they were all out so I ordered a huarache and they were all out so I just ended up ordering some tacos. The order took about 20min just for 8 tacos. The tacos had barely any meat and the tortilla was cold. I don’t think I will be coming here anymore.

Food is fair at best, definitely over priced compared to other taco shops in the area. Customer service is very bad(I was dealing with the owner). They double charged my bank account and had no resolution. Go somewhere else

I love the menudo at this place. We usually always get it to go. Today we decided to eat there. Big mistake. All you could hear from the cook/owner was her complaining and being totally rude to her customers with her rude remarks!!! She has no customer service! Totally ruined breakfast for us!!!

We decided to give this place a try. We were very excited about the giant sopes. We also ordered a few tacos al pastor which left us asking where’s the beef?(Will post picture) $ 30 plus for the the bill for about a $ 15 meal. Customer service was good from the young lady taking our order but she made a little mistake with the order of our agua fresca and the owner rudely opened a straw and said well now I have something to drink, I don’t want to waste it! It would not have been so rude had she smiled and looked at us while saying this. We shall stick to our usual spot ;) we will NOT be returning

Food was decent, beans were bland. Asada was dry and hard shell chicken tacos were extremely wet and messy. The ceviche was good and fresh. Restaurant is clean and neat.

This place deserves some props. I’ve been here two days in a row and have had their tacos and their burritos and both are great. The burrito is a little soggy, but flavor is there. If you’re looking for legit Mexican food, this is the place. Update. We returned for Cinco de Mayo to avoid all the chains that were crowded. I love how their cook just says, «just order and I’ll make it.» Indeed he did. I really like their food. The guac could be stepped up some, but I’m a fan.

Plenty of parking Quick and friendly service. I was in n out in about 8 minutes. Got an all meat burrito with al pastor meat. It was filled to bursting in the tortilla. VERYFEWPLACESGIVEYOUTHISMUCHMEAT. It only cost about $ 8.5, which is cheap for what you get. I also got free chips to go. The chips a little overcooked. The al pastor was not as good as king taco but who wants to go to king taco and wait 30 minutes for your food? The red salsa was awesome! I will rate the carne asada next time.

Looked this place up because we were super hungry& the original place we wanted to eat at closed early because of the Super Bowl. The food was less than average. No cheese on my beans, the taqueria were super crispy& the ends were semi-burnt. I got a bean tostada& the layer of beans was so thin I couldn’t even taste them. My fiancé got tacos and they amount of meat they put in them was enough for half of a bite. It was almost a joke. I’m only giving them one star because the horchata was good.

Great food, excellent service! This place makes you feel at home. Lady at the counter was awesome thanking everyone respectfully gave my grandma a fresh cup of coffee with a touch of cinnamon love. This is truly a great mom and pop shop that anyone should try.

Unfortunately, my first moment or two in the restaurant were pretty disappointing. I had driven in traffic from Costa Mesa, and I had to use the facilities. The facilities were«out of order.» A problem for me – and a big problem in general for place that serves beer. The interior, otherwise, is a clean and warm. A cozy place to eat. I ordered a sampler of carne asada, pollo, carnitas, and pastor tacos. $ 1.40 each. Not the cheapest around, and not loaded quite as generously with carne with some other Ontario establishments I’ve visited(one notoriously«royal» taco joint offers them for 1 cent less and gives about 30 or 40% more meat. On the whole, the tacos were just fine. The only really tasty one that would make me want to return if I thought about it when hungry was the carnitas. It was perfectly seasoned, tender, not dry at all. I put the underwhelming salsa verde on the pollo taco – shredded chicken – and when I bit there was a crunch like sand… like you get sometimes in an improperly cleaned scallop. So that was weird. Not sure if that came from the taco or the salsa. The beef had a good grilled flavor to it. The pastor was bland, could have used some salt and spice to it. In all, a satisfying snack and a dissatisfying inability to relieve myself. On the plus side, though it didn’t help my situation, was that the gentleman gave me a nice, cold pint glass to fill with water at the soda fountain.
