Edwards Ontario Palace 22 IMAX & RPX

Came here for date night tonight aaaaaand this place was poppin lol. Never thought I’d say that to describe a movie theatre.
I usually go to AMC or iPic in Pasadena but because I got one free movie ticket from donating blood … Why not come here
So we came here to see the new Independence Day movie at 8pm. We got here at 7:30 and the lines to purchase tickets was a mile long … It would’ve been a whole lot faster if all the booths were open instead of just 2.
Once we got our tickets we only had 10 mins left to get snacks. Ok so first of all, since when was a large drink $ 8?! And a medium popcorn is $ 7?! And hotdogs are another $ 8?! And then freaking pretzels were $ 6?! Cheese not included?! Omg ., be still my heart! No wonder I don’t go to the movies often. These prices are scary…
Anyway so we were in line FOREVER to get these snacks. Everyone was moving verrrrrry slow. There was no sense of urgency or motivation to get these people fed and going! (I had too much sugar writing this review, I’m sorry I’m pumped!)
Fast forward to the theater. Ok so it’s pretty big and spacious and cozy. The chairs kinda recline a little and the floors wasn’t sticky so that’s a plus.
Overall … I’d probably come here again if given free movie tickets lol

What’s up with the new IMAX Glasses??? They are horrible, all you see is a white glare the whole time and they make the sides of your head hurt after the movie. So sad, this was the best IMAX screen around.

Best movie theater for miles. Their IMAX is everything. They have really good food. It’s always clean. The people who commented to go to AMC across the street must’ve been sponsored because that AMC is horrible. I came from there. One day I decided to go to Edwards and I questioned why I ever wasted money on AMC ontario’s busted screens and burnt popcorn for years. Edwards has the BEST rewards program. I get free movie tickets every month and movie merchandise. With AMC I got $ 5 for every million dollars I spent and I go to the movies every week. Spend the extra money on a ticket and upgrade to Regal. (Let’s be honest… all anyone ever does is fall asleep in reclining seats anyways so it’s not that important)

I would like to keep this positive because this is one of my favorite movie theaters but this is for the not so great experience we had on 5÷10÷16.
Me and my boyfriend went to see the 8pm 3D showing of Captain America: Civil War. The only down fall of this date was the fact that right in the middle of the movie, the movie just stops. Black screen! Silence!
I honestly thought people still sit up there in the control booth the whole movie in case problems happen. But after sitting there for three minutes and no one popping their head out the window someone finally got up to go grab an employee.
The movie was back up and playing about a half hour later. Someone did finally pop their head out and apologized and gave us the option to restart the entire movie or pick up where we left off.
It sucked that we had to wait so long, but I’m glad it didn’t take longer or they say that it just wasn’t working.

I’ve always like coming to this movie theater the customer service and staff have always been very friendly and professional. Also like that you get points on your regal crown for every visit. Keep up the good work regal team!

Horrible! ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes for food? I’ll miss my $ 20 movie I just paid for! Everything I ordered seem to have an excuse of why they couldn’t make it or they didn’t have it also they didn’t have booster seats for my child… isn’t this family freindly? I am definitely not happy!

To get better service — go to AMC across the street.
To get the IMAX experience — go to Edward’s.
The service is horrible. Most times popcorn and a drink takes about 15 – 20 mins to get (from the time you get in line and get done)… you may miss the previews… AMC has really great far service on the other hand.

Probably one of the best movie theaters I’ve been to. I’ve been to a lot across this country and this one is by far the most interesting one and biggest that I’ve been too.
I went and caught Dead Pool with a couple friend on a RPX screen and we all were delighted that we chose to do so at the theater.
It gets crowded but they move the lines pretty well. We got there at a decent time so finding comfortable seats wasn’t an issue.
Food and drink selection was nothing out of the norm for a movie theater.
If I’m ever back in town I will definitely be planning a trip back here

I wouldn’t usually pay extra for something I know is b.s. but it was family and there weren’t enough showings blah blah blah…
Anyway I had to pay $ 5 extra for RPX for «more comfortable seats and a better picture». It’s not IMAX. It’s not 3d. the chairs aren’t the large fully reclining ones that don’t cost extra everywhere else, they have a strip of leather on them. picture looks the same to me. So $ 5 extra cuz they didn’t have enough showings.

The workers at the concession stand where so slow had no personalty long lines and they did not care. I spoke to manager he said oh well. We won’t be going back to this one.

Dont come to this theater!!! Lets start with security. What a joke. Earl Gutierrez «lead» security thinks he is tough because he wears a gun and has cars towed at his leisure. When confronted he tells you to get off the property and tries to bully his extreme weight around and forces you to the sidewalk when HE had your car towed. $ 440 for parking in the very back away from everyone trying not to be in the way was not good enough for this gentleman to give a warning or a notice to not park here next time. Just towed it. Edwards Theater should not only hire better security with moral ethics but they should post signs within their parking lot to avoid people parking. I understand rules and policies but Edwards Theater almost made it seem like they have a sneaky contract with the tow company to make money. Charging $ 12+ for a movie isnt enough? Very disappointed. Dont go to this theater!!!

Great theater. Love the IMAX. This time went to see RISEN must say very good movie. Roman Tribune has the task to find out what happened to the body of Jesus Christ. Enough said.

I went to theater to see Deadpool. Glad i did. It was funny.
Ive been a fan of Ryan Reynolds since Blade Trinity. So i new he was capable of performing that brand of satire and stunts.
Theater seats were not the best. I felt cramped and im skinny. I could not recline. One star taken away for that.
Screen was huge. Sound was on point. Theater was nice and clean. Crowd had proper theater etiquette (no cellphones, no unnecessary loud talking, etc). Lots of available seating (theater was almost empty).
Parking is plentiful, far and near.
I didnt order any food bcuz i wasnt hungry.
I can imagine that the food was typically inflated prices for small portions like all theaters. But i had a great experience.
Movie theater was somewhat empty. However, after we left out theater, there was a HUGE line forming. So my advice to anyone is to go see any movie no latter than 4pm and before a weekend (sat and sunday) or holiday.
For those who complain about food prices… bring your own food or dont come hungry lol.
Seriously, concession is how theaters make a lot of their money. Going to the movies is a leisure experience. You should know what to expect. Im not rich. But dont be so cheap lol. I would hate to go out on a date with any of you complainers.
If you cant afford to go to movies, download bootleg and stay at home lol.

I’ve been coming here for years. Love the location (in mall parking area), Regal Rewards for free stuff and new movie releases. Cons only one Snack Bar out of three opened, so come early (long snack bar lines).

We checked in to see Star Wars! Woo-​hoo! Nice big theater. Big comfy chairs. Popcorn was the same olé theater popcorn as everywhere, lol … Lots of parking. Bathrooms are actually clean and employess are friendly. I would come back again to watch a movie here …

Friendly customer service. IMAX is great. The place is clean. I love coming here because of the wide choice of movies. The seats are comfortable. I really like their popcorn.

I Love This Theatre ! Best One In The Inland Empire For Sure ! The IMAX Is Super Sick !

Got down to the last ¹⁄₃ of my popcorn and this is what I found. I Asked the manager if I could have my popcorn replaced next time I was here because my movie was over and was told «NO! You should have told us when we gave it to you» this crap was at the bottom how would I have seen it.

Love this theater… They’re big and seats are comfy. Restroom always clean. Tons of parking! Great!
We always choose this location over any other…
And now they have this RPX (better seating, better sound, better quality) another $ 5/​person.
Its worth it depending what type of movie are you watching…

Never had an issue seeing a film here and I think they’re one of the last spots that has a regular IMAX with a ginormous 20 foot screen. Saw Jurrassic world on IMAX here and I thought I was in the film. Parking is ample, bathrooms are always clean, and tickets are always available. It’s kind of ghetto looking but it’s just easier to get-​to than the AMC there. The trek to AMC at Ontario Mills might kill you either in your car or just walking there from here.

Clean theatre, comfortable seats! The armrests go up as well!
My only complaint was that while we were buying the tickets, there was only one person there and they were on the phone with another customer. Would be nice to have at least two, but I guess it’s understandable seeing that it was a weekday.
