Love their honey walnut shrimp and my husband loves their combination chow mein! Always fresh quality and never a disappointment!

This place is awesome what can I say FRESHFRESHFRESH and the couple that runs it is so cool. I love the beef chow fun, without the bak choy, cannot go wrong with this. Beef tastes juicy and tender always. Keep up the good work

This place is what I would call a fancy hole in the wall. They don’t cook it until you order it, super fresh. I just got the fried rice for now, but will be getting more in the future. The staff are also very nice and friendly. I recommend this place highly…

Why so much hype! Not so great. I agree that the owner and front staff is very nice n friendly but the food quality is below par. The honey walnut shrimp is way below average, try min’s dumpling house in Rancho. Fried rice, double Kung paw and beef chow fue, all below average. I am disappointed driving 30 miles to this place after reading Unilocal reviews. Huge quantities at low price does NOT make it 4 stars

This is the best place I have ever tried! The beef with broccoli was delicious. The meat was very tender. And the pad Thai noodle were really good as well! Hands down the best Chinese food I have ever tried.

Beef Chow Fun is a must! Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Beef Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon to die for, eggs rolls and salad that comes with your dish is delicious. Super fresh food every time. This joint is ran by a sweet lil couple who work so hard and are always there to greet you with a big smile. They’re awesome! Now go eat some Fong!

5 stars for the nice owners!!! I went to Fong noodles yeeeeeears ago with a lovely. I recalled loving the food and that side salad was crack… Just a tip, make sure you get the dressing only on the side if you’re getting it to go. Otherwise your salad will get soggy quick and it won’t keep well the next day :( So speed up I guess 4 or 5 years, I always told my sister how much I loved this place every time her and I would come from the cupcakes across the street. Finally I sold her on trying. This place is in a deserted shopping center, borderline depressing. Glad to see that Fong noodles still stands strong. We walk in and we’re greeted by the nice lady. I assume she is part owner with her boo. We ordered Shrimp fried rice, beef chow mein and my sister did the lunch special which is a steal. Comes with orange chicken(non spicy) plain fried rice and a side salad for 6 bucks. No small portions either and everything is cook to order, so your food will be super fresh. Second visit my sister ordered her combo again and this time ordered house pad thai. I will say its great that the food is super fresh and piping hot even all the way home. So tasting everything, it seemed a little light handed on the salt component. My sister loves her orange chicken, she had it twice already. I thought it was random to have Pad thai. It was aight. They can leave it to the thai place next door LOL. I like these folks and I enjoy the freshness of their food and I may come back but I bounce between them and the place across the street. Sometimes we do both hehe: D

You can’t be in a rush when you Dine here because everything is cooked to order. It is a husband and wife team, husband does the cooking, wife does the register and takes out the food. Sometimes another guy is there… a son maybe… but he never does anything. I just see him walk around in the back. Small place, but the food is amazing. The husband and wife are super nice. The food doesn’t taste like a quick fast food like Panda Express or Taste Goodies, it taste home made. The portions are large enough. I used to go with my mom, we would each order an item that came with rice and then get a chow fun, because you have to have noodles when you eat chinese right?! Great little place. Very Mom and Pop place so just because their hours are posted, they may not be open… ie family emergency, illness, or whatever. But if it’s closed please go back and try it. Worth the trip back.

I don’t understand why the cook seems to always go to the market during business hours? When you say you’re open at 11am, you should be ready to serve your customers at 11am. I wanted to place a big order to be picked up at Noon and they were unable to fulfill that request because the cook was at the market when I called at 11:11am. If not for that set back, I would rate the food itself 5 stars. Perhaps it would be wise to do the grocery shopping in the morning or the night before so that you’re open and ready to serve your customers in time.

A-OK in my books! It’s funny because I’ve been coming to the IE for doctors appointments for about 2.5 years and never ate at this place! Not to mention it’s right across from my favorite cupcake shop! –__– Shame on me! My sister ate here(takeout) way back when and never reviewed it so for her it’s like brand new all again LOL! I came here around 4ish after one of my appointments and it was empty, a friendly woman greeted us right when we walked in. What I really like about this place is that you can get lunch specials ALL times of day! Not just 12−4PM! It works perfectly for me since I need just a bit of food and I ended up getting so much food for $ 6.00! I went with the orange chicken combo which comes with fried rice, a salad and an egg roll! Alexis went for the beef chow mein, and shrimp fried rice. They don’t start your food until you order it so you know it’s fresh! I rather wait to have quality fresh food then to have it quickly as it was sitting under a heat lamp. My chicken was good but it was lacking something. My sister’s fried rice was good but the chow mein was missing some kind of sauce(either oyster/soy) when it was in the pan cooking. I had to add some sauce to it. My egg roll was delicious! Overall it was just OK, I might try the spot across the street next to My Delight to see who’s food is better, I’m sure there’s other Chinese spots in the Ontario area.

I’m giving them a 5 star based on the overall experience, not just the food. We dined there once prior to using them For catering and it was good that we did. The food is great! Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Our guests LOVED the food! If Rate the food a 4 Star. We served assorted chow mein, chicken fried rice, steam rice, Mongolian Beef, orange chicken and egg rolls at our party. EVERYTHING was gone. A lot of people were getting seconds. I personally really enjoy their Mongolian Beef. As for the customer service, the couple is very nice and helpful. They are prompt and courteous. We will definitely use them again.

I drove from L.A. to Ontario during rush hour last week and was pleased to discover I made it to my destination with almost an hour to spare. I decided to feed myself and hopped on Unilocal to see what was cooking in this part of town. I ended up reading Lawrence L.‘s review of Fong’s Noodle and getting a serious hankering for greasy, cheap, Panda Express-adjacent Chinese food. I was pleased when I pulled up to this place and it was in a weird movie theater strip mall. Parking was easy and the restaurant was quiet, with only a few tables occupied in the small cafeteria-like space. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered from an Asian lady who seemed like she was probably the owner or manager. She was great. Brought food to my table then fixed me up with to-go equipment before I even had to ask. She did this in part because I ordered too much food and we both knew it. It was cheap and I got greedy for variety and leftovers. I got the honey walnut shrimp and the beef chow fun, one of them as a combination meal with salad, fried rice, and egg roll. I ended up with a laughable amount of food on my table for one. The salad was fine, basically lettuce and crispy wonton strips with a thick slop of thousand islands dressing. I find thousand islands kind of gross in theory but I ate all the lettuce pieces with dressing and left all the dry ones alone. The egg roll was satisfying, deep deep fried and plenty oily. Unfortunately I wasn’t super into the honey walnut shrimp. It was bland and heavy, and it didn’t get much help from the flavorless fried rice. The beef chow fun, though, was exactly what I wanted. Fat, gluey noodles stir-fried, I assume, with bean sprouts and beef and that soy-plus-whatever brown sauce, served in an unreasonably large portion. It tasted great the next day with a power blast of sriracha. The shrimp, on the other hand, is still in my fridge, waiting for me to either want it or throw it away.(It’s already lost out to a frozen Costco chimichanga that boasts that it’s «Made with real cheese.») Anyway, the world needs places like Fong’s Noodles, lots and lots of them. I was glad to find this spot holding things down in Ontario and would recommend it to anyone passing through in search of a quick, casual, tasty meal.

I took my daughter here while we were on vacation in LA. She like it so much she drug my wife there the very next day for lunch again. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was the best I have ever had. My daughter got Orange Chicken and she was obviously enthralled by it. The white rice was kind of dry; tough to eat with chop sticks. But that didn’t bother me so much as to remove a star. That is how good the main dishes were.

You have no idea how sick and tired I am of Panda Express… I have been dying to eat Chinese food at another establishment for the longest time but the hubby is so Americanized he refused anything but Panda Express –____– He finally gave into my batting my eyes after a while and agreed to try out Chinese at another restaurant so I took to Unilocal immediately and started scoping the area, Fong Noodle caught my attention because of the ratings and because it was next to one of my previous employers(cold stone creamery ;]) You walk in and you are greeted very nicely by the lady behind the counter! The thing I loved most about this place is the menu displays photographs of the dishes. Someone like me who is VERY visual, appreciates these little details. I got the chicken chow mein combo plate and my better half got the Orange chicken combo plate. Each of our plates came with a house salad… It’s your basic iceberg lettuce blend with wonton strips and a house made dressing that is on the sweeter side. I liked it and most importantly the hubby loved the salad!(I guess that means he likes it so far? :].) We got our meals and dived right on in! My chow mein was pretty good, well seasoned. It was pretty good but not amazing. He was satisfied with his chicken, even admitted this chicken is a lot softer then his usual preference. We got 2 combo plates and 2 drinks and it all came out to like $ 16… Not too shabby at all! Nothing is better than good eats and good prices!

I got their Mongolian beef($ 6.43). The salad was ok but the dressing is a bit sweet. They cook the food fresh and they give a good portion of it with a piece of eggroll. Place is clean, restroom is too. The owners are nice. Place is near the Edwards movie theater, next to Lucky Elephant Thai since when I first looked for this place I thought it was across the street near My Delight Cupcakery.

I came here twice for lunch because I got a recommendation from a coworker AND this restaurant is highly rated on Unilocal.Maybe it was all the hype, but I was disappointed both times. The first time I ordered the Combination Crispy Noodles. I didn’t like it. The noodle they used was the thicker egg noodle that got deep fried. It almost became like the crispy noodle at the salad bar from Souplantation. The texture was a little abrasive in the mouth. There were good amount of beef, chicken, shrimp and veggies, which were cooked in a gravy, which I thought it was a bit salty. The second time I got something I thought that was more normal — Chicken with Asparagus. Yeah no. The sauce was way too salty. The fried rice that came with it was bland. It wasn’t good. Maybe I should be trying the Beef Chow Fun, if there’s a next time.
