Hertz Rent A Car

Not a great selection of cars but the staff was professional and polite.
The Mercedes dealership was out of loaner cars so they got me a renal at Hertz. All Hertz had was a Corolla or a Hyundai. So I took the Corolla. Good thing because the Hyundai stalled and the engine quit on the Hertz rep when they were taking it to the get washed.
Anyway a good experience but I won’t be getting a Hyundai in the future.

Reserved 8 days prior and called 2 days before to make sure the car would be ready. Got here at 11:00am and the wait to get served was about 30 min. Horrible! I called to make sure we got a large van that can fit all our luggage. Van they had would not work. They had to go to Ontario airport to get it. Another 20 min?! When car came it was dirty, they did give us a voucher to get it washed. But if I have to wait an hour to get a car and then wash it, I should have been compensated.
The front 2 employees were working hard and professional but their customer service skills could use improvement. The manager with the beard was very good. Felt bad for him. Overall it was the Christmas rush and they had more demand than available cars.
Hertz you need to get your system more organized like the Ontario airport. There your in n out in 10 min. Not much talking with anyone behind the counter.

I’ve been renting here since 2014, and the customer service has always been A+++++, I will miss Rina though, she went to the Fontana location, Rina always made it happen for me, if I didn’t like a certain car, she would find a car of my likes and call me back so I can exchange. I also like the pickup service, it’s always quick, sometimes I’ve been out of range (max 5 miles radius) but they have always pickup me. I just recently qualified for the President’s Circle status. Congratulations to me.

I recently reserved a car at this location. Booked it online, arrived at the site on time, and was told by the representative that they didn’t have the car and usually need 24 hours notice in order to get a car ready for rental. I expected her to apologize and offer me what they had available at the rate I booked, but no. She proceeded to offer me two larger cars instead– one for $ 7 more and another for $ 9 more. I told her that the website said nothing about needing 24 hours advance notice for a reservation and that I wasn’t interested in renting any of the higher priced, larger cars (my rate was super cheap, hence the reason I booked it). So I decided to cancel my reservation. Thankfully I work nearby, so I wasn’t stranded. I walked back to my office and ended up booking with another company.
My issue is this… why would the website allow me to place a reservation if they didn’t have cars available? And why would Hertz expect a customer to then pay more money due to their lack of inventory? Or is this a regular practice since most people are pretty much in a bind when renting a car anyways, so they’d just go ahead and pay the higher price?
Highly disappointed and won’t be renting from Hertz in the future.

Worst service ever. And im not even renting a car! And the workers helping are not even paying attention to who they are helping in front of them except talking over to the next person in line. What a joke. Unprofessional, attire unprofessional for the men. Construction during office hours. Need more workers. Need this place more organize. I understand its a business and they need to make money, but this is uncalled for. Parking is also a joke, not enough spots for customers, so where are the cars they are giving the customers. They have one guy picking up cars, but how they are getting more cars to accomodate the flow of customers. This is a joke. Worst place ever.
And to top it off, had us waiting standing in line but they didnt tell us there was a waiting list full of names. What kind of business is this. Ill be surprised if this place works out. Good luck!

Horrible long wait. I had an appt and waited a half hour just to be helped. And while I was being helped, the rep kept taking phone calls to give quotes… wth… car was not ready and I had to wait again for the car to be cleaned. …will never use this hertz location again. Took an hour!!! Horrible customer service
*** car was still filthy when I got it. There was dried soda stains in the cup holders and dust all over the dashboard. The carpeting in the trunk also had a lot of lint and did not look like it was vacuumed. The b front bumper still had some dried dead bugs stuck to it.
