Tasty but chicken is super dry potatoe salad is bland salsa ok kinda pricey for chicken not in the best part of town

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Even though the chicken has a lot of flavor, it was very dry. I would prefer pollo poco any day and I’m definitely not going back.

Lived in Ontario for the past four years & finally decided to try this place. Everything tasted great, lots of flavor in the chicken. My Mom loved the potato salad. I also liked that they had a few games for the kids. We will definitely eat here again!

Been coming here for years! The potato salad is DELICIOUS!!! Main reason I go here. Yes, the chicken is good but most of the time it’s dry from the inside and sometimes the salsa is a bit salty for my liking. Today the rice was dry along with the bits of chicken it has in it.
The customer service at this location is going down every time I go. The comments about them cleaning rather than serving are true.
To be honest, I recommend you buy your food and take it to go. The restaurant is old fashioned, needs major remodeling, deep cleaning, or demolishing and rebuilding. It looks nice from the outside but Once you go in you want to run out. They have articles from the 90s on there wall… It’s almost 2020 people…
Now that I remember the building was a yellow color… Nothing like the picture posted on here.
If you want a discount look in the penny saver and you’ll find a decent deal.

Consistently delicious. This is literally the best rotisserie chicken I have ever had. I never eat the skin on chicken but it is so flavorful I don’t see how one could not eat it!

Been coming here for years, even when they had their old location. Place never disappoints. The prices have gone up a bit but I understand they need it to keep going. I love their lunch special! It hits the spot everytime! Their 2 hard shell tacos for 1.99 is great too. Best chicken in town and the service is always good. They understand not everyone has all day to be there so they move fast with little to no error. Awesome place!

Great service! Great flavor, but why was the chicken so DRY… even the thighs and legs were dry ;-(I don’t think I will revisit for the chicken, but the potato salad is great ;-)

The food is always good here! But the service is getting worse and worse every time I come. It feels like you’re an inconvenience when you walk in.

Seems lately when i have come here, the chicken is always dry. Not as good as they used to be. Still like there potato salad and salsa.

This has to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurant. There chicken is always so fresh and hot, I’ve never had a bad experience here. I live in Redondo Beach and I’ll drive out to Ontario anytime just to come here. I love it so much, I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl and I’ll always continue coming here.
I absolutely recommend Juan Pollo,
and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.
I’m not much of a fan of there nachos, or tacos but
the chicken with there rice, beans, and potato salad are just to die for.
I’m getting hungry just thinking of there food. and might take trip today. :)

Since I don’t live super close to a Juan Pollo, I always end up having El Pollo Loco, but I actually prefer this placeee! Their chicken is flavorful, juicy and tender everytime! Never had a complaint about their chicken! I do wish that they had the same rice as EPL though! Not really a fan of their rice! I personally have never stepped foot inside a Juan Pollo because my family would always bring it home for dinner, so I can’t give you much info about service or everything! Nevertheless, a good deal for dinner for your family and you’ll have leftovers for days!

The food is, overall, very bland and the chicken dry; but if you’re looking to diet and/​or want to eat healthy, this is a good choice.
The chicken tastes similar to Costco’s Rotisserie Chicken but is not nearly as good. I feel Costco’s Chicken is very good for the money.
The rice is excellent, light but decent flavor; the beans, bland but OK; the chicken tacos are OK, meat dry though; the salsa was good and fresh; tortillas average.
So, the food is bland but but it’s healthy.
I prefer El Pollo Loco or Costco, sorry.

This is one of the best local chains in So Cal. The chicken is awesome no matter what you order. The fact that they have arcade games here to play while you wait is even better. Lots of specials and something for every appetite and budget.

Juan Pollo is very yummy. It does not matter what you order, i love the soft chicken tacos. They are always fast and friendly here!

Plenty of parking in the private lot at this Juan Pollo. I arrived here just b4 11:00 am and ordered a jumbo pack which included 3 whole chickens, large rice, beans, potato salad and a liter of diet Pepsi.
I was bringing in lunch for clients in Rancho Cucamonga and this was the first time visiting this Juan Pollo.
The sides were all tasty but the chicken was dry and seemed old. I suspect the chicken may have been left over from the day before. I usually go to the Fontana location and the quality of chicken is superior.
I will probably avoid this Juan Pollo in the future.

YUCK! I used to really enjoy this place but I will never return again. Just found what looks like 2 nasty looking pubic hairs in my chicken! I will never return to this place again. And I hope u all will do the same if you care how your food is served to you! LOOK FOR THE PHOTO POSTED IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME.

Really really good food! My husband brought it home for me and I was really surpsrised that it really tastes like homemade.
The potato salad and beans are really really good! My new fave chicken spot!

Great for lunch. Good and cheap.
