My first peel and eat shrimp experience. I only learned the hard way. Thanks to my *brain farts* I grab a shrimp, and pull of it’s tail. In it goes into my mouth. *crunch crunch* WTF I think. And *spit spit* into napkin. Oh hell no… they didn’t clean these suckers before marinating. :-0OMG! My first thought is «lazy.» Second thought is perhaps this is the way to cook Cajun type of food since I had never had before. Hmm. I can’t believe this. The flavor is yummy nutty, spicy, delicious. But, my patience was being tested as I peel these little suckers and pop them in my mouth. Now, I knew what the lady upfront meant… when she said: «Shrimps have skin on them, is that okay?» I thought, she was referring to tails. Bwhhaaaaa. Jokes on me right. Anyways, dad felt so bad he wanted to buy Nubia and I the blackened fish… which he choose instead. The fish I did try… it was good, light, spicy, flavorful. But, nothing super amazing and to die for either. The mixed veggies were just that. Seemed like they were steamed. And the corn on the other hand was sweet and delicious. It’s kinda like a Panda Express type of place. You choose plate or bowl and your choose of sides. They also had rice, noodles, and other meat options. They have soft drinks and also water! Overall, meh! Located in Food Court!

The cashier(helen) is rude. She charged me with a different entrée which is more expensive.

This place was disgusting. The rice was dry with no flavor and the chicken tasted strange… I hope it wasn’t cat or dog meat…

Actually an Asian place called Cajun Grill, but faster and cheaper than Panda. White rice is generously tossed into the styrafoam container. They offer various types of chicken: bourbon(like a teriyaki), honey glazed(like orange chix), spicy Cajun, and pepper. Blackened fish and shrimp were also in the heating trays, but don’t seem to be popular. Plate of chicken, veggie and rice $ 5.80, but you can get a second for $ 3.70 if you buy one regular. I liked it for fast food. This isn’t gourmet!!!

So first things first, why is this place called«cajun grill» like wut about your food is cajun in any sense. just cus you serve shrimp don’t mean you’re qualified to call yourself cajun. It’s literally a panda express. But anyways, came here today and ordered the #1 combo which was the bourbon chicken(don’t know why they call it bourbon either, I taste nothing but sugar) and substituted the rice w chow mein. You also have the choice of either vegetables or corn, I got vegetables. The chicken itself was okay, although they didn’t really give a large portion of it, and the noodles were fine too. The thing that bothered me the most of the bourbon sauce. it was like sickeningly sweet. What made it worse is that the lady serving it poured in extra sauce so it basically like traveled over into the noodles and vegetables. Once I was done eating, it was like a pool of oily sauce. gross. But I mean, the vegetables had like zero flavor anyways so I guess it worked in favor of that but it was still way too sweet and way too oily. Also the lady at the cash register did not smile once, I asked if they had hot sauce and she literally just handed me two packets of sriracha without saying a word and a straight face, it honestly made me feel kinda uncomfortable but oookay then. I feel like there are a lot of better options in the food court you could choose, and it’s not like this place is super cheap either. It’s like whatever, I wouldn’t wanna eat here again, especially when there’s a chipotle right next to it. I should’ve known better lol.

TERRIBLE service but DELICIOUS food. I seem to be torn and confused. The woman didn’t say a word to me, but then proceeded to ask the next person in line all the necessary questions like eg. Would you like a drink with that? For here or to-go? Because my experience here was bad. I give it 2’s, but I do wan’t to say the Bourbon Chicken was the bomb!

The food is always delicious and fresh. I drive miles just for a bourbon chicken bowl. It is the only place I eat in the mall, and that is because there is nothing like it anywhere out here!!! My guy has the blackened fish when we come together and it is always delicious too!!!

The most disgusting place that exits in Ontario, I am so disappointed. Do not let the line and nice display pictures fool you. I wasted 13.25&7 minutes waiting just to pay for this garbage. «Kelly» needs to close this kitchen and move on with life. I can’t believe this is at the Ontario Mills. I don’t want to even give this place one star, but Unilocal is making me.

The name of the place and what they serve here is really mind boggling to me. Is it Cajun or Chinese? Not really sure but nonetheless it was really good. I ordered the bourbon chicken with rice and corn. The chicken was tender and flavored not too sweet. The rice was fresh and the corn medley was also good. If I ever come back out here again I would definitely pick up some bourbon chicken.

This place deserves more stars than what is listed. Really it does. First of all its fast food. The bourbon chicken is amazing its full of flavor and juicy. They also serve blackened fish and its a HUGE piece of fish. The veggies they have and steamed rice are a good side. I recommend you give this place a try. You will like it. The fish is grilled to order, very fresh.

I’m laughing my ass off at this place being called Cajun. WHAT??? We were lured in by their free sample of bourbon chicken that tasted decent. We were starving and just had a horrible service issue at the Rainforest Café at that same mall. So, we were up for something new, and fast. I had the honey chicken and my wife ordered soup. My dish was oily and mostly batter mix with micro chicken inside each dough ball. The chicken rice it was served with, was just fried rice with minimal vegetables and maybe… perhaps…some micro amount of minced chicken, but I will say no chicken was present. My wife’s soup was uncooked noodles with micro particles of meat. We both had stomach aches shortly after eating, and we ate less than half of what was served because it was so bad and oily. PASSONTHISPLACE. GROSS!

Food is actually good. However, the people working here are totally rude and have no brain cells. Should have known when no one was standing in line for this place.

The food was tasty… now that’s out of the way. Who on earth thinks this is CAJUNFOOD?!? The«red beans» was white rice with a FEW kidney beans in it sitting next to Egg Rolls and chow mein. No shrimp, no gumbo, no actual red beans and rice, no greens, no crawfish, no white beans, NONOTHING ! If this place opened in the south it would be called Panda Express! I am California born and raised and I married a beautiful southern woman and have only scratched the surface of the culture and cuisine of the south and I feel offended for anyone from the south, been to the south, or even said the word«south» before. Whomever is in charge of this place is selling LIES… and today I ate those lies! One of the things missing in Southern California is the amazing food that resides in the soul of places like NOLA and this place is a slap in the face to the word Cajun! You suck Kelly’s Cajun Grill! You have good Chinese food, but you suck. Please don’t eat here expecting southern food. I fell on that grenade for all of you.

After waiting in line for 20 min I get to the register and they inform me that their card processor is not working. I did not have cash on me and they were not prepared with a crash kit. I was then informed by the manager to leave me food since I didn’t have cash. This should of been instructed to the entire line before we order. I will contact cooperate.

After being undecided about what to have for lunch the other day I decided to try this place. I had a bowl with steamed rice, bourbon chicken, and veggies. My food was okay, i didnt like the veggies since they had a weird flavor. But the bourbon chicken was really good(and probably the only reason for the 3 stars). Now the main reason for the bad review is that the girl that charged me was pretty rude. Not only was she rude but after I paid with my debit card I had to ask for my receipt. I happened to check my receipt before I walked away it turns out that she charged me for 2 bowls instead of 1!!! She overcharged me and it didn’t seem like an accident. It would have been easy to miss if I hadn’t asked for my receipt and with the food court as busy as it was I can see it happening often. BUYERBEWARE!!!

Well I’m going to make this short and clear. Don’t eat here! I ordered half and half(Chow Mein and fried rice) thinking they wouldn’t count it as a side ans they did. The spicy chicken has more fat than chicken. The shrimp has more shell than the actual shrimp and the shrimp have the poop inside. It looks and smells great but just take the extra steps to panda express honestly. Will never reccomend this place to anymore. MOSTIMPORTANTLYMYFOODHAD A BUGINSIDEOFIT !

You can walk the Ontario Mills food court area and nearly get filled sampling the free chicken from the various vendors in the food court… …after sampling ‘em all, you’ll probably agree that Kelly’s Cajun Grill and their«Bourbon Street Chicken»(basically a sweet teriyaki chicken) is the best. The sides you can select from include these really good potatoes, and in fact you can double up on ‘em or get the corn and forgo the rice or noodles if that’s not your thing. I could have sworn the Cajun Grill was once a promising chain, around the era of Kenny Rogers Roasters, but somehow it failed, so this may be an independent franchise. It’s fast food steam tray mall food at it’s near best, so for the price and location, it’s hard to beat and I’d say it’s one of the top 3 places to eat in the food court.
