So gross. Salty, processed meat. Greasy, crumbly buns. Overpriced plain chips(no other flavors available today I guess) only pepsi no coke eeew. Restaurant dirty(they did empty the trash cans, but didn’t clean the tables). Not worth it. Going to have heartburn I know it. I only ate half and I’m sorry I ate that much. I was starving.

Nasty and poor value. The pizza was absolutely gross — doughy, greasy, bland. It’s just not that hard to make a decent pizza. Frozen would be way better. Salad was wilted and had that«not so fresh» feeling. The opposite of what you want in a salad. One star for ok customer service. One star for offering a 9 oz pour of wine. Handy when lines are long.

Only the lack of quality of food can be trumped by the service. The service is extremely slow, and the lady gave myself and the woman in front of me cold Cinnabon’s that were room temp.(Even though they advertise hot). Nothing like reheated food. The breakfast sandwich is all dry bread that makes your mouth taste like you are eating a cracker. To wash down this filth, they give you coffee that tastes like dirt, however you won’t taste it, or anything else for that matter because it is so hot(the only thing hot), it will scorch the roof of your mouth.

Airport food courts are usually not great, but Schlotzky’s was pretty much the best option here. Service was fine, our sandwiches came out quickly and were pretty tasty. While it is better at their regular locations and it seemed like they didn’t offer the full menu, it was still good. They also sell Cinnabon items, but they didn’t really look fresh so we passed. Tasty chips and cookies too, portions are pretty small for the price though so if you’re hungry I suggest 2 sandwiches.

Actually the Angus Beef and cheese sandwich was good. The bread, I believe was sourdough was fresh and tasty. The sandwich was rather large for me to eat so I shared it with my daughter which we both were full off of. Not bad… need more menu choices but it is in the airport so there’s only so much they can probably offer.

Location: Terminal 2. S-L-O-W does not even begin to describe the experience. After being completely ignored for several minutes(over 10) with no one else at the counter and not even a cursory«be right with you» I was asked what I wanted. I ordered and paid and the S-L-O-W started all over again. There’s even a sign at the register that says something like«custom food prep takes time; thank you for your patience.» And, folks… they ain’t kidding. But what is left unsaid is that extra time does not translate into extra quality. Nor provide time for any level of good customer service. I can’t rate the food because after waiting so long for what I received, I threw out the sandwich, returned the unopened chips(flavored and not what I wanted but had been the only choice) to the counter and walked away with my bottled drink. Yes. I wound up paying over $ 12 for a bottled drink and nothing more. Because it just wasn’t worth sticking around any longer nor asking for my money back after all the S-L-O-W and poor service. So, Schlotzsky’s you made a heck of a profit off me. Once. At the price of EVER making a profit off me again. Phonetically rearranging the name of your establishment to something more descriptive is a cheap shot, that I’ll avoid.

We used to have a Schlotzky’s in my town years ago that I spent an insane amount of money at. It was my favorite sandwich shop. When they closed I literally cried. Fast forward to the present and I am stuck at the Ontario Airport. The people that run the airport Have a weird sense of humor as the schedule the restaurants run is ridiculous. My 5:50 flight was delayed 4 hours so I got to see things that were truly bizarre. The Round Table Pizza opened and closed twice. The Auto Club Speedway Café is a café that doesn’t serve food. The El Paseo Café stops serving food at 3:30pm. WTF? I didn’t want to sully my memory of Schlotzky’s by eating at airport location but I had no choice. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought the sandwich was fantastic. Ordered the Original(smoked ham, Genoa and cotto salamis, cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses with black olives, red onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard, and signature dressing on a toasted Sourdough bun). The bread was really good with a toasty yet soft inside chew. The sandwich was assembled nicely and the toppings were layered well. This is good option if you are stuck at the Ontario airport

2 stars because they were the only place open. And I was starving. But really, should be zero stars. This airport has the fewest, most awful food choices so don’t make the mistake I did and show up hungry. My sandwich was pretty awful and tasteless. The«veggie» had shredded iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, onion, cheese and ranch dressing.

Worst customer service ever. No idea what was Yvonne’s problem but she definitely had one. Not going into a tirade but it is safe to say my hard earned dollars will be spent where they are appreciated. There are a million sandwich shops out there that would welcome customers with much more respect and decency and better products. Just wish I could give a 0 star because 1 star is too generous.

I was already expecting to pay an outrageous price for food because hey, it’s the airport. But Yvonne provided such horrible customer service and a nasty attitude that the $ 12 I paid for a mediocre sandwich deserves lesson than one star. In the future when customers greet you with a smile and good morning it’s not acceptable to be such a miserable cow!

Mehhhhhhhhhhh. This place was a last resort. It was the only place open when we arrived at the airport for our 8pm flight to San Francisco. So we had no choice but to eat at this random place since we were starving. We got a bunch of cinnamon rolls and salads. The cinnamon rolls were not fresh. They advertise it as ‘Cinnabon’ but it is not the Cinnabon quality I’m accustomed to. The rolls were very dry, hard, and stale like they were yesterdays rolls. The salad was so bland, and barely had any dressing. My advice, hit up some where to eat prior to coming to the airport. Or just avoid this food court. It’s no bueno.

I’m sitting outside Schlotzsky’s in Terminal 2 of the Ontario Airport. I’ve got 5 hours to kill so I read all the Unilocal reviews and now I’m far too terrified to go in. This airport is like one of those Chinese ghost cities – all shiny and new but without humans. I was gonna kill time in the newsstand and maybe buy a bag of Bugles, but the woman running the joint suddenly stood up, turned out the lights, and closed the grate– at 12:35 in the afternoon. So here I sit, still nervously eyeing Schlotzsky’s, not sure what to do. The menu is as horrifying as the reviews, but I’m bored and kinda hungry. Giving it three stars for no good reason.

If you want to pay $ 12 for a pre made egg sandwich that they heat up when you order it, this place is for you.

The hours are horrible opening 45 minutes after security in the morning. The food is both bland and expensive. The staff is slow and uncaring. The only reason it gets a star is because it’s the only place that’s open.

Wasn’t pleased with the service. Hot mess during lunch hour/midday. Food kinda made up for the deficient service.

I don’t like writing negative reviews, but I had a pretty awful experience. This is even my first 1 star review on Unilocal.Anyway, there was nobody in line and at least 4 servers standing behind the counter as I stood there waiting to get my order taken. They then had me move to the next register, where I stood waiting while she slowly counted money, only to be told that it’s closed and go back to the register I was at originally. Where I waited some more while they talked to each other… Food is what you’d expect at an airport(just ok and slightly overpriced), but the service was rude! They made it seem like I was burdening them by bringing my service there. Not going back.

Borrowed because it is the absolute way to express the Schlotzsky Experience: «There are two type of people in this world: 1. Those who know Schlotsky’s 2. Those who don’t know Schlotsky’s.» Those who know Schlotzsky’s have all shared an experience that is worth relishing… and any time those people are presented with an opportunity to experience a Schlotzsky’s, they WILL make themselves available to the opportunity. Ontario’s airport is an interesting anomaly. It is strictly a commuter stop… about 50 miles from LAX. The shops and restaurants keep what would certainly be considered a unique schedule. Fortunately, I was out there recently and had the opportunity to take advantage of an old favorite. In placing my order for the Original, add jalapeño and leave the lettuce off, I was charged the $ 8 or so for the Medium sized sandwich. This was the only size offered, and for the location, not an unrealistic price. While I could not observe the preparation as easily as in the original Schlotzskys I had at home, I was confident the sandwich would be delivered prepared well. About 5 minutes from order placed to order received. With 45 mintues to departure, I took the opportunity to sit and enjoy. The bread, as always, fresh and chewy and crusty and(I wish it were a little more sour) warm… the correctly assembled combination of ham, genoa and cotto salami, olives, onion and mustard along with parmaesean, cheddar and mozzerella cheeses, add my sliced jalapeño, toasted and cut in two. The assemblage contained the requisite parts… tho the distribution left a little to be desired. While there was a layer of melted cheese where it needed to be, there were several spots where the cheese had clumped and not melted. Tho only other Schlotzsky’s I have experienced in an airport is Oklahoma City. Amazingly, it is quite similar to Ontario, tho there are more airlines that have service into Oklahoma City.

It’s true. This Schlotzsky’s isn’t as good as the others I’ve been to. But given the options at the airport, I’d likely return and try again. I went with their original, which is typically very tasty(like in the Denver International Airport). This one just didn’t come together as well.

Ontario is a weird airport in that the food establishments have hours that make no sense. The Applebee’s closed at 12pm on a Friday just as people wanted to come in a get lunch. The Round Table Pizza didn’t open at all(I know cause I was there from 9am-8pm due to a series of flight delays on a Friday). So Schlotzsky’s had an effective monopoly and I had to eat there twice. The place isn’t bad, but it’s a whole lot of carbs with the thick bread. The meats are fine, and the lettuce is so-so(not all that fresh). They do put a lot of cheese on both sides of the bun. Also as a consumer, I’m suspicious about any restaurant chain controlled by private equity for a while as the temptation is to cut corners or defer needed investments at some locations due to all the debt on the balance sheet(Burger King, Friendly’s, Sbarro’s, etc).

Expensive. because they’re in the airport terminal, but I rather pay their hefty prices than $ 6.00 for a pasta dish the size the size of a TV dinner on my flight. Service is relatively quick and friendly.
