Things must be improving because I had a great experience here. The staff is happy and all 3VERY attentive and very polite. I should have gotten their names. I’ll call and edit this review. This store is how things used to be. Polite and caring. They have the new Chuck II’s!!! My hubby wanted them in black but they didn’t carry his size so they brought him out another color in his size just so he could see if they fit. Then they search their system for local stores and called to put the pair on hold for us. I know this sounds normal but the Converse store staff is cold, snotty, and rude. Foot Locker stores don’t answer their phones. I was in a mood when I walked in because Converse in the mills is supposedly an outlet store but ½ their stock is full price and they don’t even carry the new Chuck II’s. I’m glad we stumbled across Shoe Palace because I left happy.

I had been searching all over the place for a certain pair of shoes. Not finding what I wanted exactly I was happy to see they had a large selection of shoes. I was approached by a young girl asked if I needed to try on a pair of shoes. As I gave her 2 pairs I was interested. She brought them to me. Said nothing more to me. She didn’t ask if I liked them, how they fit, or even if I wanted to try another pair. As I found a pair I was interested I started proceeding to buy them as they were tagged at 94.00 … once I was ready to check out. They rang up to 108. With a total of 118.00. As I was in shock of the price. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe I read the price tag wrong. As I walked out I picked up the shoe on display. Sure enough they were tagged at 94.00 I asked to get the difference back due to being over charged. The girl said they could not give me the difference because they were tagged wrong. After exchanging words I asked to speak to the manager. With no help and a lot of attitude from a group of young girls running the place. I got a total refund of my money walked out. And will never return !!

I am late on this review but to be honest I received better customer service here than I did at Foot Locker, go figure. The young lady(Terresita) who helped me out immediately greeted me upon my entry to the store. Now usually at other stores it takes employee’s a minute to greet a customer which can be such a turn off and make one not want to do any browsing much less spend any money at that establishment. However, being immediately greeted with a friendly face and smile made me want to linger around and spend my money lol! This young lady really knows retail and she was literally running in and out of the storage room to check shoe sizes for my son and managed to maintain a smile throughout the entire time. Even though I was thoroughly being taken care of by Terresita, all the other employees were just as considerate and maintained a professional attitude. I will definitely choose to buy my next pair from this store over Foot locker in a heartbeat!!!

Wonderful Customer Service: Chelsea was very helpful and everyone asked if we needed assistance. Carlos was also very nice. My son was spending birthday money and enjoyed the experience.

In My Opinion: Worst place ever. Despite their large selection of shoes no one will help you. We asked an associate to call another store to get a size and shoe for us. He said the store is busy or that they are not answering. My wife called on her cell phone and how convenient that we got through very first try. We asked them to find us a size inside their store and we waited waited and waited while their associates are all gathered at the register. They did succeed in one thing robbing us of our money since there is no return policy, we are forced to get something at this horrible place, I wont even call it a business since a business holds standards which this place clearly does not. I wish I could give a negative rating…

Just moved to rancho and I’ve shopped at Shoe Palace before but never In Ontario. I was expecting better deals than the others I been to since the Mills is considered an outlet mall but It seemed the same. The service was also same, which was great. This girl Brittany and her manager Carlos were awesome. They don’t get Retros which sucks but I’ll still come back

3÷3÷2013 Joseph turned me away 15 minutes before closing. He said his manager Nico said to not let anyone in because they want to leave early and they will not pay overtime to accommodate clients. My son was very disappointed because he couldn’t buy the shoes he wanted. We were pricing shoes in the mall and went back to get these but was turned away even when I said we already knew what shoes we were getting. Joseph was really sarcastic saying they had a meeting and that was too bad for my son. Terrible service! I ended up buying shoes next door at finish line where they had great service.

The insanely loud dub step music makes it hard to browse here which is a shame because they do have a decent selection of Nikes. I found it difficult to flag someone down to help me get my size of the shoes I wanted so I ended up not purchasing anything. Left with a headache and bought my shoes at Foot Locker instead.

It feels like this place over compensates by trying to hard to get your attention, and then ignores you when you actually need some help. With so many other decent/better to good options in this same mall alone, I don’t see myself coming back ever.

The customer service in this place is HORRIBLE!!! The whole place is so loud. The staff kept shouting something I can’t understand which adds to d loudness of club music they r playing… It seriously gave me a headache. One staff we asked for a size of a shoe for never came back. Another staff who helped us get the shoe we wanted never came back after we asked for the mate coz we were ready to buy also never came back. We waited & waited & waited just to find out she left it with the cashier without telling us. I WILLNEVERSHOPHEREAGAIN!!! Stores with bad customer service like this has no business having customers. I wish Unilocal has zero star rating.

I purchased my shoes at the riverside location, but since the company has a no return policy my review still applies. I’ve purchased shoes here in the past, but on my LAST visit when I tried to return my shoes I was made aware that company doesn’t accept returns only exchanges/store credit. This would have been nice to know prior to finalizing the purchase. The only sign I saw when I attempted to return my shoes was conveniently tapped to the counter where the shoes are placed when making purchases. I have no problem with stores making this their policy, but employees should make the customer aware of this before they finish their purchase. Don’t rely on what seems like a strategically placed sign.

I always come to this Shoe Palace because they provide amazing service! I live an hour away from Ontario and somehow this Shoe Palace is the only one that satisfies my needs. Great shoe variety and amazing staff! Couldn’t be happier!

They provide excellent service. Multiple associates made sure I’ve been helped. Too bad they would not price match with another store in the same mall, but nevertheless I’ve end up making my purchase from them because they’ve already spent time providing me service.
