Swanson Home Inspections

This ended up being the third guy my realtor chose for me do to schedule constraints and just deciding based on reviews to go with this guy. Not much of an online presence but at least he has a website!
He actually ended up staying on site for about 2 hours, which is pretty lengthy considering it was only an 800 square foot condominium. He was pretty thorough, ran all the appliances, and went around outside. He checked for major items like the air conditioning /​heating unit as well as everything functioning like windows and doors. He answered all my questions and even told us stuff to look out for. He gave us an estimate on the life of other items like the water heater. (Great to know!)
At the end of the inspection he gave his speal for setting up a new home. Great information and everything was free! (I like free.) He also made sure to give me a paper on all his credentials. (I learned that home inspectors are not regulated in California! Anyone can walk up with a flashlight and be a home inspector…) He was really accessible and the number listed is his cell phone, just please don’t call after 9PM. For the smaller items easily fixed, he gave me this goodie box of supplies to bring some items up to date so I wouldn’t have to rely on the seller. This was great, less things to worry about the seller taking care of.
The inspection report came really timely, that very same night. It was very thorough and included different photographs of the unit for problems and confirmations (proof). I lucked out that my unit overall was in good shape. I ended up getting a bit of a discount with cash, highly recommend that route if you can do it. I definitely thought it was very worth it for the job he did. Excellent!

Danny was amazing, extremely professional and knowledgable. He was able to answer all of our questions in great detail and make us feel comfortable with our home purchase.
