The chicken and brown rice bowl was pretty good, nothing special.

I’ve been to a few other locations but this one tasted the best of all because other 2 sucked; the taste was ok IMO. The chicken was bit too chewy and there were burnt bits everywhere; I assume that they don’t clean grills often. The restaurant is always clean everytime I visit and employees are friendly. It just that person who manages kitchen is not doing a good job.

Not good. I like me some Flame Broiler. It’s kind of a Korean twist on a rice bowl, with fresh steamed veggies and lean chicken or beef. The kind of food you don’t feel guilty for eating. That being said, this location was so disappointing. The store wasn’t clean or well cared for. «Dismal» is the word that came to mind. We sat outside, but then the food wasn’t up to standard ether. Mushy rice, and grisly fatty meat. It was awful. Pair all of that with lackadaisical service from a guy that looks like he would rather be playing video games and the experience was complete. 1 star is generous. There are a ton of other places within walking distance of this place. Do yourself a favor and choose something else.

came here for lunch and was extremely disappointed. I got the half and half bowl and my first red flag was that I can it didn’t even take five minutes to get our food. as soon as we ordered, the food came out. not that this is a bad thing but I saw when the guy in the kitchen just scooped up the meat which had obviously been sitting there and just put it on the bowls. Chicken and steak had no flavor whatsoever and to top it off, I bit into a piece of raw undercooked chicken, which grossed me out and I didn’t finish my bowl. Saba grill is 10x better.

Picked up two bowls to go, and the chicken was dry and super rubbery, like it sat for a while, or just reheated several times.

This place has change I used to come here all the time. I figured I’d stop in today since I was in the area. The food quality has gone down hill the chicken bowl I got had barley any chicken and rice. As I’m eating the owner is telling his employees to clean while he stands there watches golf on tv and talks on his phone. Owner/management needs to lead by example!

My husband brought me here since I had never been here. The visit/food was ok, nothing to write home about. When we got there, only a couple of people were eating inside. Service was quick. The food was not too great, it was mostly rice and very little meat. Maybe I’m just used to Waba Grill. Next time I’ll just go to Waba Grill– same prices, maybe even a bit cheaper, and more and better tasting chicken. Probably won’t be returning any time soon.

The meat in this one looks like and tasted like reheated left overs from last week, and has a lot of cartilage like fat. Waste of $ 7. Never going back :(

Im kind of bummed out. Today I stopped by on my lunch break, this is the first time I’ve been to this location in a while. I hate to agree with the other reviewers, but this location has gone down hill. Th bowls are different and meat was very sparing, I also felt the flavor lacking. I dont know if I want to come back to this location anymore because of the change in flavor of the food. Overall, it was clean, fast, and the cashier was friendly, but the food was lacking.

Usually good. I had the rib plate, really well done. The veggies are always good, just tender enough. Service is good. The people there greet you with a smile. Try it out.

I just spent 8 dollars for a bowl of rice with a few pieces of chicken and a few pieces of beef. They raised the prices and began giving less meat in all plates and bowls. Needless to say I will be taking my business back to waba, worth the extra drive. You spend less and get more and taste better

Wow. I used to come here religiously… NOTANYMORE! The owner is crazy and rude. Apparently someone stole his frequent buyer stamp so when i went in to use my stamp card he rudely announced«don’t give free bowl, stamp stolen». Wow. Great customer service! And when we tried talking to the employees they acted like shy, beaten children, so scared of the owner that i went from being mad to feeling sad for them. Any money spent here is directly benefiting this old tyrant!

Horrible. My mom and I came by for a late dinner and got half and half bowls. Before we had even turned around from getting our drinks, the girl at the counter was giving us the food. Should’ve been my first clue-normally Flame Broiler takes a few minutes while they get your food prepared. Food must’ve been premade. Sat down and started eating and the meat was cold, and just on the edge of being dry. Asked them to fix it, the girl told me they would remake it. Ten minutes later she came back with our same bowls and told us they had heated it up on the grill. Great! Except now the meat is bone dry and closer to jerky than a teriyaki bowl. We figured we’d just deal with it and commenced reconstituting it with soy sauce and their magic sauce. Fine, so we’re eating jerky with teriyaki sauce. I get halfway through the bowl and find a curly black hair in my rice. I really can’t put into words how grossed out I am right now. I will give them credit for this only-when I told the girl at the counter that I wanted a refund and showed her the hair, she did not argue –just said wow– and gave me cash back. We walked across the parking lot to holiday café where the rest of the family was eating and ten minutes later saw the staff close up the flame broiler and leave. I can only conclude that they are cheap(trying to pawn off whatever leftovers they had from the day) lazy(didn’t actually remake the food, just turned it to jerky) and low quality. My advice? Save your money and go to Holiday Café. I was pleasantly surprised with them.

Umm this place is mediocre compared to Waba Grill. The meat here tasted to much like teriyaki, you couldn’t even taste it to be chicken. Other than that, the brown rice was really good, the steak same as the chicken to much marination of teriyaki or something, because you could not taste the steak. I would say I’m a Waba Grill fan.

Chicken bowl special with a drink for $ 6.50 not a bad deal. They also serve Kimchee there as well. They have a tv in the dinning area and usually they have on espn or a sports event depending on the season. The staff is very nice and responsive too the consumers needs. They also have a variety of different bowls as well as plates.

Really good and really healthy. Almost went to get a burger instead but so glad I didn’t. Get the bowl with brown rice, chicken and veggies.

Food was typical flame broiler(quality has fell off and is no where comparable to Waba Grill), but I’m not here to talk about the food, I’m here to talk about the cashier George. The dude was doing the work of two if not three people. He went out of his way for three families while I was there. If corporate is reading this, George needs a promotion!!! P. S. this review is a month old. Hope the guy is still there. But the food is still… under– par.

Out of all the Flame Broilers I go to they definitely have the best prepared food. Customer service is so-so…etiher ok or just not good. Some of the employees will make it obvious they have no desire to be there or help you with your order, but I still go here on occasion when I am in the area because the cooks are on point and I want a GOOD healthy meal. Kudos to the cooks, but hi management, I thinks it’s time to give your employees some motivation or perhaps new employees.

Flame Broiler took over the old Coffee Bean location. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating. Which is great, because I’ve seen this place get really swamped during peak lunch rush hours. Parking can also be a little difficult at times, but you can always park at the Sam’s Club lot and walk right over. It’s only a hop and a skip away. Flame Broiler bowls are the way to go. The plates are about a buck more, but who needs the small side salad and the slice of orange any way? =) Put that dollar towards an extra side of meat. I find myself always being left with way more rice than meat. I believe it’s $ 1.50 for an extra side of chicken and $ 2.50 for the beef. You can also substitute the white rice for brown rice, which really isn’t too bad. One thing is for sure, make sure to hook your bowl up with the magic sauce. It’s almost like a hybrid between soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. It’s fantastic! The hot sauce is also reminiscent of srirachi sauce. Good stuff!
